[VRMMO] Dead One

The headless abomination monsters that were chained up were currently running straight towards the party as they prepared for combat.

"FIRE!" – shouted ClownFrog.

The party began opening fire, firing spells, arrows and all other projectiles at the chained monsters who were began getting shot down, but not stopped as they were still being able to close the distance between them and the invaders.

The monsters with the animal legs like with horse legs or goat legs were able to rush in ran quickly towards the party, only to get impaled by spears of blood as well as Rampage lance as it impaled multiple headless monsters at once.

However, it wasn't all as other monsters started to get near Rampage, but then had their entire path cut off by the horde of skeletons that were summoned by the skeletons that kept the monsters in place while allowing Rampage to rampage around.

However, she was suddenly forced to raise her shield up as an giant headless monster threw their giant chains at her like projectiles and hitting her shield.

"!"

"Careful! Those guys have some power!" – shouted Rampage who felt the impact of the chains.

Headless monsters began wielding their chains as weapons, throwing, slashing and crushing skeletons with them with ease, surprising the ClownFrog who began summoning stronger undeads to take the place of the skeletons and fight at the front lines.

Shri monsters also began rushing in and were either bouncing off the walls or attacking from underground.

However, the some of the Shri monsters were surrounded by the headless monsters and had some of their limbs grabbed by the chains, hindering their movements and causing Shri herself to jump into action and use her whip to cut the monsters to shreds.

But obviously this action had caused the headless monsters to aim at her now, throwing themselves and their chains at Shri, but then being quickly saved by Rampage who rammed into those monsters with her shield and send them flying, before then rising up her shield as the countless chains were thrown at her, forcing her again to block.

"Jezus! Those chains are annoying as fuck!" – shouted Rampage as her shield began getting wrapped around in chains, hindering her movements, but then quickly overpowering the monsters with the help of the [Brute Strength] skill, lifting her shield and dragging the monsters chains with it, causing the monsters that were attached by chains to get thrown into the air before Rampage swinged her shield around and send the monsters crushing down on the other monsters.

However, after shaking off the chains, even more chains were thrown in her directions alarming her, but before the chains could get to her, an giant skull made out of flames went past her and through the chains, before reaching the monsters and blowing them up.

"You, okay?" – asked ClownFrog who was keep shooting magic projectiles at the monsters.

"Yea! But those chains are problematic!" – said Rampage as she engaged in combat with the headless lamia like monsters.

"No matter what, don't get wrapped too much! Or you will have hard time moving around!" – said Rampage as the snake woman's tried to wrapped her in chains as Rampage knocked the chains away with her lance.

"Rampage duck!" – shouted Blueberry.

"!" – without even thinking, Rampage quickly ducked as rocked flew past her and blown up the monsters.

"…."

"Holy shit." – said Blueberry.

"I did got quiet an bullshit power up." – said Blueberry as an giant barrel was sticking out from Blueberry back.

(The power of the cyborg dragonian straight up boost all of my weapons and if we add the cyborg to it where I can fuse the equipment with my body and make it one, often much stronger than regular equipment, than the power up becomes "that" much?!) – though Blueberry who was surprised with her power increase after race change.

"Hey! Get a grip! Their numbers are not decreasing yet!" – shouted Oron to Blueberry who was focusing too much on her current thoughts.

"Y-yes!"

The chained monsters weren't really easy opponents.

Not only each one had a lot of power and defense, but they also posses the deadly chains that they were using as their weapons and armor and not only but the forms of the monster differences from another, giving different monster an different specialty as well as strengths.

But even so, the Purple Hyena raid group was able to push back the monsters and even managed to wipe out the huge group of monster after a long battle.

*Huff*

"Okay…. That was an interesting start…. What the fuck?" – said Shri.

"Yea… I got to agree with Shri on this one…. What the actual fuck was that?" – said GreyHunt.

"No wonder the monsters outside didn't wanted to deal with this dungeon, these freaks are strong."

"Defense. Offence. And there is also those annoying chains and some of these bastards could either fly or crawl on walls."

"And there is also the fact that there was an massive amount of these bastards."

"And we just entered it…. It doesn't look good." – said Oron.

"If this dungeon is big, it will take us sometime… And if it filled with those guys, we should at least inform those guys about the situation that we will be here for some time."

The group turned around and saw the metallic door shut tight.

The group approached the door and tried opened it, but with no avail.

"Anyway, is the theme of this dungeon are chains? The monsters wielded the chains and the wall have chains hanging on them everywhere." – said Rampage as she looked around.

"Well, didn't we found an knight monsters when we entered the Forgotten Bride dungeon?" – said Shri.

"True." - said ClownFrog.

"But there is also the thing regarding this dungeon name. "Forgotten Execution Grounds"."

"Maybe the guy in charge of this place is an executioner?"

"All the monsters here had their heads chopped off."

"Or maybe the Forgotten Being here is maybe an victim that was also executed here?"

"Still…... Those things are weird." – said ClownFrog as he stared at the corpse of the slain monsters.

"They are not undeads."

"Wait, they are not undeads?" – asked Shri.

"Nope."

"They don't have heads… But they are living beings." – replied ClownFrog.

"And there is also another thing. I can't raise them as undeads."

"I don't know why. Maybe its because they are Forgotten?"

"Huh…. So, wait, they are missing an fuking heads and they are not fuking undeads? I though they were like the Dullahan's. You know. The guys without head or those who carries their heads around." – said bit confused Shri.

"How the hell I'm supposed to know why the hell these guys are not undeads?"

"Still, I can't say that I'm not curios about the whole "Forgotten" thing." – said ClownFrog.

"When we fought the Forgotten Bride, we could speculate from the items description that the bride was originally an twin that had killed their twin sister and tried to replace her in the weeding or something, while also eating their own sister."

"But there was also the whole weeding and the mad love as well as those weird knights…... Hey Hera. Any idea?"

"Nope." – replied the little girl succubus named Hera.

"Honestly, I looked into the forgotten world in the past, but nothing really came up."

"Its chaotic mess…. Maybe some demon lords would have some books…. Notes… Or anything regarding the forgotten world, but from what I know, nobody really knows what the hell is their deal."

"Maybe some ancient beings could possible know, but beside that, I can't help out."

"Well, you can wonder about the whole back story or plot or what ever else later on." – said Lil as she began walking.

"We should focus on beating this dungeon first and then you can maybe wonder around."

"I don't mean to boss around, but we just entered this place and we were already greeted with those strong and countless monsters from get go, while we still don't know how big that dungeon is or nor if this place is also labyrinth where we need to not only conquer but also search for the boss."

"There is also the stupid fact that we are straight up imprisoned here by the dungeon and those guys outside may worry about us."

"So how about we stop asking questions and just focus on the task, can we please?"

"We are going, we are going." – said ClownFrog as he began walking after Lil.

(Still…. I'm really curios about that whole "Forgotte" stuff.)

(Is it something like an hidden main plot of this game? Or maybe it has some extremely important meaning to this whole world and history?)

(…. I should look into in the future and find out what it is really, since I can straight up smell some thick plot in the air when it comes to that whole forgotten world.)

The time went by and the party started the exploration of the labyrinth for real, covering more grounds and defeating any monsters that they encountered on their way.

But the underground dungeon wasn't the only place with action going on.

Outside, in the mountain line, there was an group of players climbing the mountain.

"Shit! Was that an good idea boss?" – asked the worried player.

"Don't worry. You are worrying too much mate." – said the party leader who was walking in front of the group.

"If anything, its an perfect idea." – said the party leader with carefree attitude.

"If we do manage to hunt somewhat "Good" in the deeper parts, then even if we struggle, we could end up obtaining a lot of EXP and catch up to other people with ease!"

"But boss…. We are not really that strong." – said timid player with mage hat.

"We were having problem with monsters below… What if the monsters up here are on the whole another level? What if we get instantly wiped out?"

"Pfffff! Don't worry! I got this." – said the cocky leader.

(No you don't.) – though every party member who grown worried upon hearing the party leader statement.

"Besides, if things will go rough, we can always escape and stuff."

"There is no way we would get trapped or- "

However, before the party leader could finish his entrance, the giant ox man fallen from the sky with its axe, cutting the party leader in half with the axe blade as its reached the solid ground itself.

"…. Eh?" – the party leader chopped in half body fallen to the opposite sides while the party leader himself got instantly killed.

"…. Shit." – said the mage player.

Suddenly, more and more ox mans began leaping from cliff above the party, landing near the party and surrounding them, while also an groups of spider monsters began appearing out of nowhere, causing the entire party to get surrounded instantly.

"Intruders! Exterminate them!" – shouted the ox man.

"…."

(Yea…. We need to replace our guild mater.) – though the scared mage player as the ox mans and spiders rushed at them before moments later the screams of the players could be heard in the distance.
