[VRMMO] Dead One

[At the Purple Hyena base located in the capital city.]

"So, wait. You want to take a look around the areas where the first army of the fanatics were originally spotted?" – said Oron.

"I don't get it. Demon lord probably already did that, so I doubt we would find anything ourselves." – said GreyHunt.

"Yea. But with the fact now being that we know about the existence of the traitors amidst the demon lord army means that somebody could have made false report." – said ClownFrog.

"However, because of those fuckers now watching us, if we report to the demon lord or something, they may end up watching every single action we take."

"So, we will work behind the demon lord back this time in order to trick the enemy."

"Then plan is to go to different locations and inspect them."

"However, it will probably be not easy."

"Those fanatics are far more dangerous than we originally though, meaning we have now FUKING time limit again to deal with them."

"For fuck's sake…"

"Anyway, we will pretend to go hunting, but then we will cause some chaos and run away in different directions. It will make us being a little bit harder to track."

"We will go to the different locations and just look through everything."

"However, we may end up encountering an "Traitors" that may try to lead us a stray or something and we may end up fighting."

"We may end up being suspected or something, so we have limited amount of time as well."

"However, its better if we wear different gears and use different mounts in order to confuse the spies and other stuff."

"Hm… Yea. We are bit too popular… Our own appearance even stand out, even to the players that may not know us." – said GreyHunt.

"And there is another problem."

"What if the fanatics really works for the empire?"

"If so, what if they have player spies inside the demonic kingdom."

"I agree with the boss plan to change our appearance using different equipment, but the enemy sooner or later will find out its us. So, we probably only got 1 try at the best."

"Yeb." – said ClownFrog.

"But is it fine to not report it to the demon lord?" – asked Oron.

"You have a communication device and all, so I doubt anybody but her would know anything expect us."

"Yea. But she still needs to use the device to communicate with us." – said ClownFrog.

"What if somebody see her using or something? It will definitely alarm the fake fanatics. Not fuking risking it."

"So yea. We are doing everything according to the plan."

"There are 5 locations that we need to check. 2 towns, 2 villages and 1 forest. They are located here on the map." – said ClownFrog while pointing to several spots on the map.

"Honestly, in one of these locations, there will be definitely some traces of the fanatics AND there maybe some traitors covering up for them. These 3 villages are nearby and these two towns should be able to hid an army. However, there is also the chance that they were hiding in that forest or something so it's better check it."

"We will split into 5 groups."

"1 person will go to the village. 2 people will go to the towns and the rest will go to the forest."

"Any questions?"

"Non? Good. Then let's start preparing."

While Blueberry was making for us some new equipment that would make us look not very strong, we went and had a look around the city and managed to rent out a mount monster called demon dodo…. Why the fuck it was called dodo when it looked like straight up ostrich?! It doesn't even remotely look like dodo!

A-anyway, after preparing some half ass equipment and getting some mounts, we started looking for some hunting spot.

There was quiet popular spot where the demon monkeys were appearing. Its bit hard spot, but it does give a good amount of EXP, so that spot is quite popular among the players.

So, we went there…. And we kind of blowed shit up and set this place on fire.

"?!"

"HOLY SHIT?!"

"What the fuck is going on?!" – said a random player nearby.

"Who the fuck is a retard that did that?!"

"…"

(Wow… Blueberry fire bomb…. Was bit too…. Dangerous?) – though ClownFrog while running away.

(I mean, it was supposed to be an explosion and some fire, BUT NOT FREAKING SETTING AN ENTIRE AREA ON FIRE?!)

(Jezus fuking Christ Blueberry?! What the fuck did you made?!)

Well…. Thanks to the…. Kind of "BIG" chaos that Blueberry made with her bombs, we were able to switch our equipment without being noticed and blend in with other players.

We don't know if we are really observed or not, but with our action just now ANY spies will lose a sight of us, allowing us to temporarily move unbothered.

After some time passed after the chaos calmed down, we used our rented monsters to move out and spread out.

So far so good. There was no suspicious actives near us or anything.

Thanks to that we were able to easily spread out without anybody noticing us and after few hours, I was able to get to the location I was supposed to check.

(Well, this seems to be the place.) – though ClownFrog.

Right now, ClownFrog was wearing a heavy warrior armor that completely hid his tail and wings as well as hid his face.

(This is one of the villages that were near the originally first fanatics army that was spotted by the players.)

(But…. So far there is nothing.) – though ClownFrog while looking around.

(It just look like an ordinally village….)

(Well, there is still a chance that these guys are parts of fake fanatics, so I have to take a look around anyway.)

(But fuck me…. I'm standing a lot…. Aren't I?)

(I needed a big fuking armor since I'm now quite tall and it also needed to be big to hide my tail and wings…. But become of that I'm standing out like sour thumb!)

(Fuck me! Maybe I should have went to the forest instead?)

(For fuck's sake…. This is straight up stupid…. Me going to the village alone sounded like good idea, since I'm strong and all, but I didn't took in consideration the fact that I'm standing out like that!)

(I was supposed to look like an average player! Not some giant armor wearing fucker!)

(Well… I doubt I will be able to "Sneak around" and "Spy on people" without getting FUKING noticed.)

ClownFrog turned around and saw a demon villager right next to him.

"Y-yes?" – asked ClownFrog.

"Are you alright?" – asked the demon villager.

"…"

"Well… I'm looking for the goblin villager named Stefan… But I don't see any goblins around… Is there any goblins living in this village? Or somebody may know him? I was told that I may find him here."

(It's a fake story I came up, since it will make me look like I'm doing some quest.)

"Em… Goblin? Sorry, but there are no goblins living in this village." – said the village.

"?!"

"Wait, what?! But I was told that goblins lives in this village!" – said ClownFrog.

"Sorry. But I really don't know."

"…Hm… Maybe you should ask around in the tavern? Maybe he was staying there once or something?" – said a villager while pointing his finger towards the direction of the tavern.

"O-oh. Thanks a lot." – said ClownFrog.

(Well, it's better if I pretend that I'm looking for that fake goblin I came up with, so I can at least appear less suspicious.)

ClownFrog walked towards the direction pointed by the village while looking around, trying to find any clues.

(…)

(Nope… Everything seems normal.)

(Nothing wrong. Nothing out of ordinally. NOTHING!)

(For fuck's sake.)

(Well, maybe I will find some at least interesting rumors from the tavern that may give me some leads or anything.)

ClownFrog walked towards the tavern door before then entering it.

When the ClownFrog entered the tavern, he found out that there were some demons and orcs having a dinner or just drinking in broad daylight.

(Huh…. This place look normal as well.)

ClownFrog walked to the counter where an orc was waiting.

"Yes? Do you want to order something?" – asked orc worker.

"Em… No… Actually, I'm looking for somebody."

"Was there by any chance goblins staying in this tavern or something recently?"

"A goblin? Hm… Sorry buddy, but there was no goblins here or anything staying here." – said an orc.

"Shit… You for really? I was told that I would find a goblin in this village. Are you sure you didn't saw anybody?"

"Look. I told you what I know. There was no goblin adventurer or anything even going through this place."

"I see…. Thank you- "

"?"

(Why did he said adventurer?)

(I never even said that I was looking for adventurer or merchant?)

"Hey…. Why did you said "Goblin Adventurer"?" – asked ClownFrog.

"?"

"Excuse me?" – asked orc.

"I mean… I only said that I was looking for goblin… But why did you said an adventurer?" – asked ClownFrog.

"Em… Well…."

"Say… Are you hiding something from ME?"
