[VRMMO] Dead One

Rampage and Blueberry took down the stairs they found in the unknown building that was guarded by the fanatics.

However, while walking down the stairs, a system window appeared right in front of them.

[You have entered the dungeon: Fanatics mad laboratory]

"!"

(This place is a dungeon?!) – though Blueberry.

(I mean, I did realize it wasn't a simple facility, since we fought against those corpless monsters, but still, a dungeon?)

"Rampage, get ready to fight at any moment. This place maybe far more dangerous than we think." – said Blueberry.

"Roger." – said Rampage while getting ready to fight.

The duo walked down the very long stairs, traveling deeper and deeper underground and after some time passed, the duo had finally reached the end of the stairs and found themselves in some sort of prison?

"…"

"Hey… This was supposed to be a laboratory, right?" – asked Rampage.

"Hm… Well, it did said it was "Mad", so maybe its one of those fucked up places?" – said Blueberry.

"Hm… Well, it does make- "

Suddenly, Rampage swinged her shield, hitting the vampire that tried to attack Blueberry.

"?!"

Rampage quickly charged with her shield, slamming the vampire against the wall and crushing him to death.

"…"

"Hey… Really? An ambush from get go?" – asked Rampage.

Suddenly, the cell like rooms opened and from them, several pale skinned monsters with long limbs and skinny appearance had walked out.

[Corpsless]

"…"

(There is a lot.) – though Blueberry.

(I can also spot some people mixed in between. They appear to be the vampires…. But considering how easily Rampage just killed one of them, they must be a low ranking ones.)

"…May I?" – asked Rampage.

"Sure." – replied Blueberry.

"[Boar Spirit] [Blood Muscles] [Cruel Haste]."

"[BOAR CHARGE]!"

Rampage charged straight through the corpless and vampires, crushing and smashing them left and right as if a straight up train just ran through them all.

In near instance, the corridor was filled with blood and any vampires that somehow survived the Rampage "Train" were being impaled by her lance or where thorn to shreds with her claws.

"…"

(Huh… These guys… They are really weak?) – though Blueberry.

(I mean, I though there would be at least 1 or 2 strong guys, but all of these guys seem to be the lowest ranking vampires?)

(That… Bit weird and off If I'm being honest?)

(ClownFrog did said that the demon lord said that to create corpless you need vampires and necromancers, but if you want to create a lot of them you either need a lot of vampires and a lot of necromancers or just high ranking vampire and high ranking necromancer.)

(But it still off. I mean, I think they do fulfil one of the conditions, but shouldn't this place have better defense?)

(These guys are ones involved in production of the corpsless?)

Suddenly, one of the vampires tried attacking Blueberry from behind, but Blueberry quickly spined around and slammed the vampire with her tail, sending the vampire flying and making him hit the wall.

"?"

"Oh wow. He was right. After becoming the dragonewt, the tail became way more useful than before."

Blueberry pullet out a gun before then shooting the vampire right in the head, killing him immediately.

(Hm… Maybe I should put something like a blade on the tip of my tail and turn it into a real weapon?)

(Oh! Maybe I should make something like a special gun and put it over my tail. Yea. That sounds like nice idea.)

(Oh! Maybe I should try reaching a jetpack or something! It will give me a nice boost to my flying ability!)

Rampage continues "Rampaging" around, killing everything near her.

Some vampires tried running away, but they were either hit by an explosive knife thrown by Blueberry or were just shot with her pistole.

It honestly didn't took very long for both of them to completely clear the corridor from all the enemies that tried to get rid off them.

"Huh… That was easy?" – said Rampage.

"Yea. But honestly, I think its only the start." – said Blueberry.

"I mean, this place seem quite big and they just send that many monsters at us from get go?"

"Isn't that weird?"

"…"

"Are you saying that this place maybe way more important than we thought?" – asked Rampage.

"I think so." – said Blueberry.

"But for now, we need to deal with the enemies as soon as possible, then we can take a look around."

Rampage and Blueberry began running down the corridor at full speed and before long, they ended up bumping into an undead necromancer that instantly began summoning undeads.

However, Blueberry took out her grenade launcher and blew up the undeads with the explosive projectile before having Rampage finish off the necromancers.

The duo also ended up encountering bit more of the corpless and vampires, but they weren't even showing any mercy and just killed them left and right, not showing any mercy what soever.

(I know we are suppose to capture some of them, but we need to wipe out as many of them as possible since we need to weaken them enough so we can capture them.) – though Blueberry.

"!"

Blueberry and Rampage suddenly stopped as soon as a weird and unknown monster that resembles a red corpless appeared.

[Experimental Corpsless: Type B3]

The monster swinged with its claws, sending a wave of blood at the Rampage, but the attack ended up being easily blocked by rampage shield before then Blueberry fired with her guns, killing the corpless variant with just one shot.

"?"

"The heck? This guy doesn't look like the normal corpless? Hey, didn't that guy (Rolando) said that the corpless cannot use magic? What the fuck was that?" – asked Rampage.

"I don't know, but maybe- "

Suddenly, a bunch of other red skinned corpless alongside the normal pale skinned ones began appearing left and right, blocking the girls path.

"…"

"Well, this place is "Mad Laboratory". So maybe they are doing some experiment of those freaks and making them stronger?" – said Blueberry.

"Huh. Well, that would make a lot of sense." – said Rampage.

"Anyway, there is way more of them than before?"

"…Should we get a bit more serious now?"

"Yes. Let's quickly deal with them."

The corpless began running towards the duo while Blueberry took out her chains and began swinging them around, hitting the monsters left and right, allowing Rampage to quickly rush through the corpless Infront of her and quickly get too red corpless.

Rampage then began swinging her weapons left and right, destroying the monsters left and right.

Some of the red corpless tried gaining some distance, but Rampage used skill called [Long Spear] and made her lance attack gain increase distance, allowing it to impale the running away corpless.

However, while Rampage was dealing with the red corpless, a giant fist suddenly came towards her and hit her right in the face.

"Huh?"

Rampage unbothered by the punch and more like annoyed looked towards the thing that just bunched it and saw a giant muscular corpless that looked like a flesh construct that the ClownFrog is using.

[Experimental Corpsless: Type C2]

(Another variant?) – though Rampage.

Rampage stabbed the monster construct with her lance, stabbing the monster right in the stomach.

However, the monster was still alive,

"?!"

"[Spear Strike]!"

Rampage quickly retracted her spear before then stabbing the monster again, killing it for good this time.

"…"

"Blueberry! Those weird one's muscular ones are bit tougher! They can take a hit!" – shouted Rampage.

"!"

Rampage quickly raised her shield as another muscular corpless came running towards her and tried punching her.

With the appearance of two brand new variants of the corpless monsters, Blueberry and Rampage had finally started having some troubles.

The numerus army of the normal corpsless that was being supported by the red ones and having the muscular corpsless being the main tanks and damage dealers of the group.

The fight lasted for much longer compare to the fights they had before already inside the facility or when they were fighting monsters outside.

However, in the end, both Rampage and Blueberry managed to completely annihilated all the monsters.

"Fuck me…. I think that was a last of them?" – said Rampage.

"Yea…. But… Honestly this is starting to get bit worrying." – said Blueberry.

"Hm? Are you getting scared or something?"

"No. Its just… Why this place has so many corpless? Not only that, there are these weird variants that shouldn't exist."

"A weird and unknown facility that possess enough resources to make that kind of army?"

"I think the boss guess was right."

"He said that one of the 5 families serving the demonic kingdom may betrayed us…. And this maybe an evidence of that."

"But…. Who are the traitors? This place has both undead and vampires…. So, by any chance 2 clans betrayed the demonic kingdom?" – asked Rampage.

"Its possible…. If so, then who ever is in charge of this place maybe a real monster." – said Blueberry.

"…Huh… You don't look scared or anything?" – said Rampage while looking at smiling face of Blueberry.

"Oh? Well… I want to test myself."

"Do you have any idea how many different weapons I made, but had no chance to use them?"

"Honestly, this is a perfect opportunity to test out some of my creations!"

"And that is why you are also fucked up in head." – said Blueberry.

"Hey. Says you."

"You literally just went full berserk and killed everything and everybody while smiling and laughing like mad man." – said Blueberry.

"Hey. What can I say? I didn't had any proper fight for a long time after the war ended, so I'm just letting lose."

"Anyway. Do you think we can manage to beat this place with only us 2? You just saw how the difficult got increased by a lot in just a moment."

"Yea…. I'm confided." – said Blueberry.

"Huh…. Well, if you are the one saying that, then I have nothing to worry about." – said Rampage.

"Well then, lets continue."
