[VRMMO] Dead One

After the dissuasion was over, we immediately set off to deal with the corpless nests while leaving behind both Rampage and Blueberry.

Our first job assigned by the demon lord is to destroy two nests of the monsters called corpsless before they are "Discovered" by the demonic kingdom.

While we left to deal with the nests, Rampage and Blueberry were left behind to make sure that our base was prepared and some other stuff.

"Hey, where do I put this anvil Blueberry?" – asked Rampage while carrying an anvil.

"That wide room right next to the alchemy room. Wait, let me open you a door." – said Blueberry before walking towards the nearby door and opening it for the Rampage.

"Thanks." – said Rampage while entering the room while carrying the anvil.

"…"

(I think the others should be soon getting to their destination, if not be already fighting.) – though Blueberry.

(But still… No contact from the demon lord.)

(Maybe ClownFrog was worrying for nothing?)

(Well, I'm not complaining with staying behind.)

(I really needed the workshop and I want to experiment with golem and toy crafting.)

(Hm… I wonder if I can combine the golems and toy into one thing? Making something like toy golem? I wonder.)

(Maybe I should ask him to let me stay behind for some time.)

(I managed to bough some interesting materials from the market and I'm really eager to use them.)

"Hey Blueberry. I was meaning to ask you." – said Rampage while entering the room.

"What do you think about the Lil and her friends?"

"What do you mean?" – asked confused Blueberry.

"Oh please. I know you have a crush on the ClownFrog."

"Woman… You talk about him too much… And you are often blushing in the real life…. I'm honestly really confused how the hell that guy even didn't noticed it. Is he one of those stupidly dense motherfuckers' main characters when it comes to the relationships?"

"Anyway, Lil and ClownFrog know each other in real life and the main reason why we agreed to inviting them was because of the ClownFrog."

"But honestly speaking, I though you would be bit… I don't know… Bothered by it? I mean…"

"I even once asked them if they were once girlfriend and boyfriend, but as it turns out they have nothing like that."

"Apparently they even laughed like crazy when I asked them."

"Apparently, they see each other more like siblings than anything."

"And honestly speaking, Lil does have a big sister personality sometimes."

"But I kind of can see somehow becoming fucked up like us all if she spends more time with us."

"…Yea… That is true… All of us are fucked up in our own way." – said Rampage.

"Honestly, I wonder how fucked up she will become? Maybe she will become something like mistress?"

"Pfffff! As if! She…. Wait… She does use plants to tie up…. Oh, my fuking lord… Let's hope she won't become one." – said Blueberry with grim look.

"Yea…. It would become a bit fucked up…. If she were to become one." – said Rampage with also grim look.

"Wait. Isn't Shri kind of mistress? She does have a whip and "Pets"."

"Nah. She is more like those "OHOHOHOHO!" laughing ladies. Or wait, she is more like those "Punk" ladies." – said Blueberry.

"Oh. Yea you are right. Honestly, I think it's both if you look at her thug personality."

"Anyway, going back to the ClownFrog."

"When you will invite him on the date?"

"What…What with that look?" – asked Blueberry while looking at Rampage smug face.

"Nothing, nothing. Just have fun you lustful woman." – said Rampage.

"What the fuck was that supposed to mean?!" – asked Blueberry.

While Rampage and Blueberry were talking, an inventory winddown opened right next to the Blueberry.

Blueberry stared confused for the moment, but then she quickly realized what was going on and took out the communication device she received from the demon lord.

"Hello? Can you hear me?" – asked the voice of the demon lord coming out from the sphere shaped device.

"Y-yes! Blueberry speaking!"

"Good."

"Listen, there is a sudden emergency."

"The flying demon fanatics you mentioned before? My agents found them."

"!"

"I don't know how, but they were seen going towards south."

"I don't have any idea how they went or flew around unnoticed before, but they suddenly reemerged out of thin air and were spotted by my agents."

"My agents are currently tailing them, but they may end up needing some assistance. I need you two to go to this coordinates and help them out."

"With the threat of the spies and traitors among our ranks, I cannot go there personally, so that leaves only you two."

"?!"

(Holy shit! So, these fanatics really did something?! I honestly though the ClownFrog was over worrying too much after realizing how big of an annoyance those fanatics are, but he was correct?! What kind of bullshit is this?!) – though confused Blueberry.

(Should we inform the others?)

(No. According to the data that the demon lord send us, the location is in opposite direction the both nest! They wouldn't get there in time.)

(That only leaves me and Rampage.)

"Okay. I understand. We will set out as soon as possible." – said Blueberry.

"Please hurry. We don't know what these bastards are planning again." – said the demon lord before hanging up.

"So, it's just us, huh? Just like before we even joined the guild?" – said Rampage.

"Yea. By the look of things." – said Blueberry.

"Honestly, I thought ClownFrog was worrying for nothing, but as it turns out, he was somehow right." – said Rampage.

"I honestly though that as well…. I think I understand why he said that these fanatics maybe "Annoying" …. Anyway, let's go already. It's better if we don't disappoint the demon lord." – said Blueberry.

Blueberry and Rampage took the two sand running lizards that were left behind by Shri and began ridding them, leaving their base and city all together.

After some time passed, Blueberry and Rampage were finally getting somewhere near the flying fanatics.

"!"

"Hide!" – said Rampage.

"?!"

Rampage and Blueberry quickly hide beneath trees as a flying demon came flying by.

"…"

"I don't think that was friendly." – said Rampage.

"Nope. Anyway, where the hell are we in the first place?" – asked Blueberry.

"It's some sort of swamp? We rode the sand running lizards for hours…."

"…It may be a good idea to go on foot from here, since I doubt this will be the last scout we will encounter." – said Rampage.

"Anyway, where are the agents we were supposed to- "

"I'm here." – said the voice from behind.

"?!"

Both Rampage and Blueberry took out their weapons, ready to fight.

"?!"

"Wait. Rolando?!" – said Rampage.

The one in front of the pair was a vampire known as Rolando.

He was the vampire that turned Rampage into vampire in order to keep her shut about his presence in the Adernul kingdom in the past while he was acting as a spy.

"Rampage? You are the reinforcements send by the demon lord?! How the hell did you get that position?" – asked Rolando.

"Well, we are kind of special." – said Rampage with smug look.

"Well, we are not the only ones working for her, but anyway, what is the current situation mister Rolando?" – asked Blueberry.

"Well… Not good if I'm being honest." – said the vampire.

"They are having a lot of scouts patrolling the area, to the point we cannot go too near them without being unnoticed."

"Not only that, we found something… Something that we had no idea it existed."

"Some sort of temple? Or maybe a facility? It kind of look like both."

"Anyway, this place doesn't look like it was built recently, in fact, it looked very old on outside."

"We have no idea what the hell is this place nor how the hell they hide its existence."

"But, the flying fanatics were saw going there."

"Not only that, we had spotted both vampires and necromancers entering this building."

"I don't know what the hell is going on here, but this place may hold some informations about those fanatics that we are dealing with. Maybe we will finally get some clues if they are working for empire or for some traitors."

"Hm… But why they appeared now?" – said Blueberry.

"Is there a reason why they are appearing now? Maybe they are doing something right now inside that building or something?"

"…"

"You saying that they maybe scheming something and we need to move out?" – asked Rampage.

"Yes… These guys are definitely doing something here and its better if we rush. But what do you think Rolando?" – asked Blueberry.

"…Honestly, I have no idea what they are doing or what is that building, but there must be a reason why they appeared now. Maybe it's a production facility for the corpsless? If so, we have to destroy this place."

"I agree with your plan. But how we will- "

"Leave that plan to me." – said Rampage.

"There is a reason why I'm called "Rampage"!"

"…"

"You are going to charge straight in and wreck everything in sight?" – asked Blueberry and Rolando.

"…No...Maybe?"
