[VRMMO] Dead One

Pretty much, we spent entire time walking around, checking this out in the city and trying to find any good spots we could use for our base.

Honestly, we kind of got lucky and unlucky.

Lucky, because we found a big base that we could buy.

Unlucky, because it was big for a quiet big guild. And I mean literally it was big! It was just a big building like a small apartment.

I mean, it was literally not only that, but the fuking costly!

But… It was the only big building we could buy…. Fuck me…

I mean, we are bit rich and all, but still, this is a lot of money!

There is a chance that the person that is selling this place had even increased the price, since the players are buying buildings left and right to make their bases here!

I was really considering using the demon lord sigil… But the demon lord would probably not like that… Fuck me!

Should we go to the other two cities that the Oron proposed?

Nope…. This is a capital city and its location it's too perfect.

Not only that, we need to have base as close to the capital city as possible and recruiting people here in the future maybe be bit easier, since there are a lot of players in here.

Fuck me! If the conditions weren't THAT good and IMPORTANT to us, then I would flat up refused and went to the different city.

Anyway, we got ourselves a base.

It's a big building, too big for us right now to the point we won't be able to use most of it, but we can start preparing to do some work in this place, specially creating a special workshop for Blueberry, such as blacksmith, alchemy workshop and monster workshop.

We will also need some other stuff.

But oh well, we cannot have too much peace.

The demon lord has contacted us.

"Hey. Can you hear me?" – the voice of the demon lord came out from the device.

"Yea. Loud and clear." – said ClownFrog while staying inside the base.

"Its business time?"

"Yea." – said the demon lord.

"Yea… Hehehehe… I may…. I have a hard job for you from get go?"

"For fuck's sake…. What did you done?" – said confused ClownFrog.

"I did nothing!"

"It's those self-proclaiming fanatics doing."

"I don't know how, but they managed to create annoying monsters called "Corpseless" and they are pretty much going on the rampage."

"They are manmade pseudo vampires undeads that were created with some alchemy. Our kingdom does use these monsters as our "Hounds", but they are very annoying to control, so we usually only make them during the war."

"However, recently a nest of them were spotted in the kingdom and its probably doing of the fanatics. I don't know how they found a way to create these monsters, but the fact stands that they made these."

"They eat people and corpse alike and then use their remains to create more corpsless, pretty annoying monsters."

"I would send necromances and one of the liches to deal with them, but they are busy with the empire invasion."

"Honestly, I was planning on sending you to do some business behind the scenes, but I need you to deal with the corpsless nests before they grow too big."

"?"

"Wait, did you said "Nest(S)"?" – said ClownFrog.

"Yeb… I don't know fuking how, but these bastards made two nests."

"I don't have any idea how they even managed to create corpsless in the first place or even their nest."

"The only explanation I have is that there is a high ranking necromancer and vampire working together behind the scenes or a huge group of normal necromancers and vampire. Either of those answers would explain how they managed to create so many corpsless without being noticed."

"However, before any of my men take actions, I want you to immediately go there and deal with those nests NOW."

"We know that we have traitors among us, with the appearance of the corpsless, but they probably don't know the fact that you are working for me."

"So, go to their nest and destroy them."

"Right now, they are only making those nests AND nobody knows this information on our side, since I kept it hidden, making it seem like we don't know yet."

"Only you, me and my hidden agents know about. So, before we "Discover" it, I want you to go there and destroy them."

"There is a chance that the fanatics are still on the scene and they are helping with their nest growth."

"There are 2 targets. Go there right now and deal with them. You have limited amount of time and I'm unable to provide you with support beside the details, since it may end up revealing the information that they been "Discovered"."

"I understand. We will head out immediately." – said ClownFrog.

"Good. I'm leaving some information in the device, so you will know some of the enemy details and where they are located." – said the demon lord.

[New quest has been generated: [Fanatics – Corpseless].]

(So, now we have confirmed information that there is traitors among vampires and undeads.) – though ClownFrog.

(But the question is who?)

(Its good idea to send us alone instantly, but the enemy will soon catch to the fact that they are now known and we are working for the demon lord.)

(We need at least some leads or evidence, so we can find out who traitors are in short amount of time.)

(But it will be extremely difficult if not impossible.)

(I mean, the demon lord is smart, but she couldn't find anything.)

"Wait… You said you have some hidden agents, right?" – asked ClownFrog.

"Em… Yes?" – said the demon lord.

"…There is no way they would infiltrate the prison so easily, meaning that somebody had to pull strings behind the scenes. Somebody with authority… And there is the fact that maybe a group of vampires and necromancers or a high ranking necromancer and high ranking vampire are creating those corpsless, right?"

"Then what if the culprit behind silencing the fanatics is either high ranking vampire or high ranking necromancer with some influence in the kingdom."

"Are you saying that one of the loyal families may have betrayed me?" – asked the demon lord with serios voice.

"This… It's just speculation, but there is a high chance based on the recent developments." – said ClownFrog.

"It maybe be a good idea to send some of your agents to spy on them or something. It maybe be not leaders of the clans but just some high ranking members instead, but yet again, no evidence, so we don't know who exactly the traitors are."

"Okay… I understand your warning." – said the demon lord.

"But for now, just do your job and try to deal with the corpsless nest and the fanatics on the scene."

"It may be a perfect opportunity to gain some proper info about these fanatics."

"…Okay."

"I will send out myself, Shri, GreyHunt, Oron as well as the new recruits. I will however leave behind Blueberry and Rampage, since it would make people think that the members of the Purple Hyena guild are still in the city. If something urgent appears, contact them." – said ClownFrog.

"Sound goods. Anyway, I need to go. Demon lord out."

"Everybody gather up. Its time for job." – said ClownFrog.

[Few moments later.]

"As the demon instructed, we will attack two different locations where the nest of the corpsless are being made."

"We will split in two teams."

"The first team will consist of me, Oron, Howl and Swim, while the second one will consist of Lil, Wretch, GreyHunt and Shri."

"As for the Blueberry and Rampage, you two will stay behind."

"People need to see you and think that we are still in the city and you will also use this opportunity to prepare our base."

"…Wait… So, you guys will do stuff… While we are making our base?" – said Rampage.

"Fuck you."

"Calm down." – said ClownFrog.

"Something is off about this entire situation and with the heretics."

"There is a chance that the demon lord will contact you in case some emergency."

"And honestly, I don't like this."

"What do you mean?" – asked GreyHunt.

"I mean, those fanatics. They are way too smart. Their leader must have some both real influence in the demonic kingdom and is a strategist."

"I honestly suspect that one of the 5 clans that served the demonic kingdom maybe the ring leader behind it all."

"In other worlds, there is a high chance that another emergency may occur while the rest of us are away."

"And that is what I don't like."

"We don't know what is the end goal of those fake fanatics."

"Destruction of the kingdom? Or take over?"

"Either way, I already don't like these bastards."
