[VRMMO] Dead One

In the underground city where sobeks tribe lives, there was a massive and ancient colosseum located in the west part of the city.

Inside of the colosseum, the entire sobek tribe had come in order to watch the fight between the Rampage and the Um Gigu.

"Holy shit. It feels like it will be some sort of gladiator fight." – said Rampage.

"But anyway, why the fuck they have a freaking colosseum down here?!"

"Well, according to the info I got from that guy, apparently this place was used long ago as the place where a lot of official tournaments held by the Umali kingdom were happening each year, before the kingdom got destroyed." – said ClownFrog.

"Oh. I didn't know that." – said Shri.

"Anyway, you do remember what Au said?" – said GreyHunt.

[Some time ago.]

"Okay. Before you go and fight that bastard, I should tell you some things about him." – said Au.

"My father main weapon is a great sword."

"However, don't let your guard down with him."

"He can swing that thing around like nothing with just one hand."

"Each strike is also powerful so you need to watch out."

"And this is not all."

"Our tribe specializes in water magic and my father will surely be using it as well."

"Water?" – asked Shri.

"Yea. Our tribe name Fang And Sand maybe bit confusing, but we were not only warriors of the desserts, but also an guardians of many oasis before the kingdom was ever formed."

"My father uses his water magic for the defense while he uses his great sword for the offense."

"Welcome everybody gathered and thank you for participating in observing this fight!" – said Au Gigu.

In the middle of the area, a white sobek was giving out speech.

"Today we gather to bear witness a battle between our chieftain who was insulted by the outside!"

"The one who challenged the chieftain is none other than a Rampage!"

Rampage entered the area as soon as her name was called.

"And the one who accepted the challenge is none other than our tribe chieftain Um Gigu!"

The a giant white sobek who was tribe chieftain had entered the area as soon as his name was called and released a powerful roar.

"Nice roar. Are you trying to scare me?" – asked Rampage.

"I'm going to tore you limb by limb!" – said Um Gigu.

As soon as both participant had entered the area, the Au had left the area and headed to the spot where everybody could see him.

"…"

"BEGIN!" – shouted Au.

As soon as Au gave a signal, Um began quickly charging straight towards Rampage while she herself raised up her shield.

Soon Um finally got near Rampage and swinged with his great sword at her, however as soon as he was about to hit Rampage shield, he got countered by the Rampage shield and making the sword attack hit the ground.

"?!"

In the instant, Rampage launched her own attack with her lance at the sobek, but as soon as she tried stabbing him, a water barrier suddenly appeared that tried to stop her attack, but in the end the lance pierced though the barrier and stabbed the sobek in the stomach, however the attack did not sink deep at all.

Soon after, sobek punched Rampage with his giant fist that ended up hitting her and pushing her away.

"…"

(That barrier, is hell of annoying.) – though Rampage.

(It absorbed some of my attack power and made it noticeable weaker. Not only that, this guy body is hard as well.)

(I can tell this really will be long battle.)

"[Boar Charge]!"

Rampage charged straight at the sobek and rammed him with her shield, but the attack barely made the giant white sobek.

However, as soon as Rampage charge attack ended, the giant sobek tried biting Rampage head off with his mouth.

"[Shield Strike]!"

Rampage uppercut the giant sobek with her shield and effectively shutting the sobek mouth up.

"[Lance Strike]!"

After uppercutting the sobek, Rampage once again tried stabbing the sobek with her lance, but this time she enchanted her attack with a skill.

This time the attack not only pierced through the water barrier but also manage to sink much deeper into the sobek and dealing noticeable amount of damage.

However, the white sobek didn't stood by and tried attacking with his great sword.

In the instant, Rampage raised her shield above her head and activated the [Shield Block] while the sobek activated [Heavy Sword Slash].

Rampage took the sobek attack head on with her shield and because of the sobek strike, Rampage feet ended up slightly being burrier in the ground.

"[Shield Counter]!"

Rampage used her counter skill and pushed the sobek sword away.

"[Spear Rush] [Spear Strike] [Blood Smell] [Boar Power]!"

Rampage began unleashing a furriers of the blow at the white sobek that ended up hitting sobek over and over that ended up resulting the sobek losing balance.

However, the sobek soon regained his balance and tried launching a counter at Rampage with her sword and in response, Rampage attacked the sobek at the same time, making the two weapon clash.

"…"

(So far so good.) – though ClownFrog while observing the fight from the spectator seat.

(It was good idea for Rampage to evolve. If she didn't, she would not only got stronger but also would not unlock her new vampiric powers.)

(However, that old bastard isn't going down anytime soon.)

(She manage to land some solid attacks, but that guy HP barely got decreased.)

(His defense and barrier are quiet annoying and not only that, but his fighting style is reckless like Au said.)

(He just focus on the offence and is not willing to give Rampage any space to breath.)

(Well, this strategy is good for him, since all the defense will be done by his scales and barrier.)

(However, Rampage is also a tank and damage dealer like him, so she won't be killed as quickly as he thinks.)

"[Great Sword Crush]!"

"[Vampiric Dodge]!"

The giant sobek swinged his sword at the Rampage, however as soon as he the sword was about to hit her, she turned into red mist and made the sword hit the ground instead and made a giant crack appeared on the spot where Rampage was standing.

"?!"

Suddenly the red mist gathered next to the man sword and Rampage had reemerged.

"[Boar Strength] [Boar Spirit] [Warrior Spirit] [Lance Piece]!"

Rampage once again launched an counter attack that this time manage to sink even deeper into the sobek body and even made the tip of the lance emerge on the other side of the sobek body.

"You bitch!"

"[Water Scales]!"

Suddenly, a huge amount of water suddenly appeared on the surface of the sobek body and Rampage lance began being pushed out of the sobek body.

Rampage tried resisting, but moments later the lance ended up being completely pushed out.

After pushing Rampage lance away, the sobek spined around and hit Rampage right in the side with his tail, sending Rampage flying and making her fall on the ground.

As soon as the Rampage got knocked down, the white sobek began running straight towards her before then leaping at her, however Rampage suddenly raised her shield.

"[Shield Blast]!"

As soon as the sobek got close, the shield emitted a light before making a small range explosion happened that ended up hitting the sobek and pushing him away.

Thanks to the shield attack, Rampage manage to quickly stand up again before sobek got near her again.

The fierce battle between Rampage and sobek chieftain continues for a long time.

5 minutes passed since the start of the battle.

10 minutes passed since the start of the battle.

15 minutes passed since the start of the battle.

20 minutes passed since the start of the battle.

25 minutes passed since the start of the battle.

30 minutes passed since the start of the battle.

The sobek swinged his sword over and over, trying to crush and slash Rampage while Rampage had bit into sobek body multiple times and drinked his blood to recover.

Body of the participant bodies were covered in wounds but not only that but the area itself had sustained quiet amount of damage from their combat.

"Fuck me… Can't you just die already?" – asked Rampage while being covered in wounds.

"Same to you! Why the fuck aren't you dead yet! You are just a fuking human!" – said the Um Gigu while having many different stab and bite barks on his body.

"I'm not you fuking idiot! Even idiot could realize that I'm not a freaking human!"

"Wait. Really?!"

"YES!"

"Man. You really are dumb."

The annoyed sobek summon a water that began gathering near the sobek sword.

"…Em... Au. What is this?" – asked ClownFrog.

"I… I have no idea. Nobody ever saw that old man do anything like this!"

"[Water Crack]!"

The white sobek swinged his sword, unleashing a giant sword slash attack that was made out of the water.

Rampage instantly raised her shield and activated [Shield Block] and [Walking Shield] skills in order to block.

However, the attack completely ignored Rampage defense and hit her dead on.

"!?"

(Shit! This attack freaking ignores defense skills?!)

"!"

Rampage saw the white sobek preparing another water attack with his sword and began rushing straight towards him.

"I see you have a death wish! Then I will freaking oblige!"

"[Oasis Blade]!"

The white sobek unleashed a second water attack, but this time the attack was in form of a water pillar that flew straight towards the Rampage.

The attack was much bigger than before, making it impossible for the Rampage to dodge the attack.

However, Rampage continue running at the sobek and even took the sobek attack head on that resulted in massive explosion.

"…"

The white sobek looked towards the water mist that was left behind by his attack, but suddenly Rampaged shield emerged from her shield and flew straight at the sobek.

"?!"

Sobek instantly slashed the shield, countering the attack, but as soon as he removed the shield out of the way, he saw Rampage right next to her that instantly closed the distance with the [Boar Charge].

"[Warrior Spirit] [Boar Spirit] [Boar Strength] [Boar Strike] [Lance Pierce]!"

Rampage launched her spear right at the sobek mouth from underneath and pierced through it.

"?!"

The white sobek lifted his sword up, getting ready to strike, but Rampage did not gave him a moment of rest.

"[Vampiric Claw] [Hearth Taker]!"

Rampage unleashed attack with her free hand at the sobek chest that pierced through the shield and the sobek scales and manage to sink right into the sobek chest.

Rampage quickly located the heart and began crushing it with her claws, but suddenly the sobek blade cut off the part of the Rampage head clean off.

"…"

"!?"

Rampage didn't stopped after getting part of her head chopped off and crushed the sobek heart.

"…"

The sobek stared at Rampage with disbelief as she took out her hand from his body and also taking away her lance.

"H-how?!"

"You should have aimed for the heart."

The white sobek fallen on his knees after having his heart destroyed.

However, Rampage didn't took any chances and opened the sobek mouth with her hand before then shoving her lance right into his mouth, finishing the sobek chieftain for good.

While the crown continue cheering, Rampage turned towards her party and raised a thumb up and in response, every member of Purple Hyena began cheering her as well.
