[VRMMO] Dead One

"Hey, did you heard about the harpies extermination?" – said the guard on duty.

"Hm? Oh yea. Apparently O'a is participating. Man. How the hell did they convinced him to join the operation?" – said the second guard.

"I don't know. Either way, the harpies will probably end up being exterminated and that is good news. I think I saw some harpies once flying in here, but once their nest is burned down, then the threat of the harpies should be gone."

"Yea."

"Hm?"

"Hey. Somebody is approaching."

A group of people riding on the sand running lizards were slowly approaching a large village located in the dessert.

Moments later, the group finally approached the village gate.

"Hold. Who are you people?" – asked the guard on top of the wall.

"We are bounty hunters." – said ClownFrog.

"?"

"Bounty hunters?"

"Yea. Apparently, the member of the "Sand Bandits" was seen heading this way. We want to investigate and take a look around if he is still inside the village or question if anybody saw somebody new or suspicious visiting."

"…"

"What do we do?" – asked the guard.

"I don't know. But it's better if we let them in. If Sand Bandits were really seen heading towards us, then we may be in danger. Nobody has seen or heard any incident regarding them." – said the second guard.

"Okay. You are allowed to enter."

The pair of guards opened the gates leading to the village, allowing the group to enter.

However, as soon as the last person entered, an army of undead appeared out of nowhere as well as the giant scorpion monster and even a giant red cobra monster appeared.

The entire settlement was quickly getting destroyed and people getting killed left and right.

It didn't too long at all for the entire settlement to get turned into ruins.

Rampage began feasting captured villages, drinking their blood until it led to their death.

"Yea. She said that she manage to make me a new proper lance and a shield." – said Rampage.

We are officially running out of time.

Yesterday after we stopped playing, I decided to look a bit on the net and by the look of things, it seems like more and more players are arriving to the dessert.

Not only that, but the info about high level monsters you can find here was leaked, so even more people will soon come.

We have around, 1-2 weeks before too many people will appear and before that happens, we need to recruit sobeks and immediately go to the queen and try to revive her.

(For fuck's sake. I know that there were players present in the dessert for the long time beside us, but now they will fuking swarm this place because of the monsters living in here.) – though ClownFrog.

(I thought we would have around 3 weeks before trouble happens, but some idiot had to just babble out the info about the monsters.)

(It takes some time to travel to the dessert, so people won't be able to immediately get in here, but now is the question how long it will take for them to flood this place? A week? Or maybe 2 weeks? There is also a question if some of them will buy the sand running lizards or not.)

(Either way, we have no time to level up peacefully anymore and have to rush it. As more times passes, more people will get in here and when more people would start getting here, the chances of them discovering one of the tribes will keep increasing and we cannot have them do that before the revolutions starts.)

After getting rid of all the villages and destroying the village, we headed straight back to the monster filled oasis in order to get back to the sobeks settlement.

After we finally broke though the monsters and arrived to the settlement, we meet up with Au and discuss the course of the action with him.

"So, I just have to do what you said and he will have no choice but to fight me?" – asked Rampage.

"Yes. He maybe a coward, but he will never disrespect some of the rules among us sobek since those are one of things that kept him in power." – said Au.

"...Okay."

In the middle of the underground city where sobeks live, a gathering was taking place and in the middle of it was Rampage.

"…"

"Um Gigu! You pathetic coward and disgrace to the sobek race! Come out and fight me!" – shouted Rampage.

"You hide your people! Not because you want to protect them, but only to protect yourself!"

"You are nothing more than a traitor to your own race!"

"You let your son die not because he didn't wanted to fallow you, but you only wanted to scare your own people!"

"Fight me you pathetic excuse of a father and the chieftain!"

"Prove that you are at least a warrior that can protect your own people!"

Most of the tribe doesn't like my father for many reason.

However, none of us were able to beat him in battle and take over the position of the chieftain, but that is all.

If you were to shout everything about in public, he will have no choice but to accept your challenge and he knows it since if he were not to do that, the tribe would abandon him since he would have been seen as nothing more as the coward who only wants to have control.

"WHO DARES?!" – shouted Um Gigu.

"Who dares disrespect me?!"

The giant white elder sobek finally arrived to the center of the city.

"There you are! A coward!"

"You! You are one of the people that came in here before! How dare you spread lies about me after I welcomed you?!"

"Welcomed us?! Lies?! You kicked us out after ignoring the reality of the situation!"

"And I did not said a single lie!"

"You are hiding because you are scared and you want to hide your people since you want to use them as your shield!"

"You are not worthy to call yourself a sobek warrior! Nor the father! And especially not the chieftain!"

"I Rampage challenge you to the battle to the death! Prove your strength as the warrior if you want to prove my claims to be false!"

"I don't have to prove anything to you! I'm the chieftain- "

Before the white sobek could finish speaking, somebody threw a rock at him.

"?!"

"FIGHT HER YOU COWARD!"

"YEA! WE HAVE ENOUGH OF YOU!"

"Because of you our people are in danger! How do we not know that you are strong enough to protect us!"

The spectators slowly became rallied up, demanding the chieftain to fight Rampage.

However, suddenly the chieftain release a massive roar that instantly shut up everybody in the instant.

"You want to fight?! Huh?! Then so be it!"

"I Um Gigu, the chieftain of the Fang And Sand tribe is accepting your challenge!"

"What? Did you changed your mind after your people started calling you a coward?" – asked Rampage.

"You!"

"Enough!" – shouted Au Gigu while making his appearance.

"This is not a place to have a battle you two! I not allow you to make the mess of our city!"

"The adventure Rampage had challenged the current chieftain Um Gigu to the battle to the death and the latter had accepted."

"However, like said before, you cannot battle here!"

"The official duel shall happen in the area. Do both sides agree?"

"Yea sure." – said Rampage.

"Of course." – said Um Gigu.

"Well then, the battle will be heard in 2 hours! Both sides gets ready and meet up in the area before times is up!"

"Good luck, coward." – said Rampage, taunting the Um Gigu.

"I will make you regret even taking a step in our home!" – said Um Gigu.
