[VRMMO] Dead One

Chapter 81 - 82 – Silver Sand city.

Our next destination is a city called Silver Sand city. It's a city build right next to the sea.

Near the Silver Sand city, the hidden village of the second lamia tribe called Melody Tail is located and our goal right now is to meet them.

Honestly, we are going straight towards that Silver Sand city instead of going to any other cities nearby.

Why?

Well, we are supposed to be gone and be on the harpy extermination squad, so going back to the Green Sand or any cities near it isn't a good idea at all. However, that means we will have to take more dangerous route and obviously end up facing more monsters and even bandits, so it would take much longer to get to the Silver Sand from the harpies nest.

And this is not all.

Pretty much we needed to get to the Silver Sand after that battle we had the extermination squad. We did end up using a lot of potion and other ammunition while fighting them. Not only O'a was powerfully fighting, but the rest of the extermination squad weren't half bad either. We all ended up worn out after that fight.

So right now we had to be carefully when we were running into any monster or bandits to not to suffer too much damage or we may end up dying stupid death.

But we kind of didn't run into that kind of a trouble.

Why?

Well… Let's just say I took care of it all.

From the achievement I got after killing O'a and then resurrecting him as well as the harpy achievement, I got a freaking 1 450 skill points!

I mean, WOW. This is quite broken.

Well, I also got 1 450 stat points and some stat increase to mana and necro mastery stats from the achievements and to top it all of, some of the achievements gave a passive stat increase to my undeads or reduced their undead mastery cost. So, I kind of become overpower.

However, I currently learned all the skills I could have from my 3 necromancer classes, so I decided to learn a 2 new classes

The first class I learned is [Dark Magician].

I learned this class for multiple reason. The first reason is attack skills. I need some proper attack skills, especially long range ones.

The second reason why I chose the dark mage is because it not only specialist in attack skills, but it also posses some debuffs that may turn out be useful for me.

And lasty, there is a good chance that there is a necromancer rare class that I can unlock by having necromancer class and another mage class. So, there is 3 good reason to pick this class.

The second class I got is [Dark priest].

Dark priest are kind pretty much opposite of the light priest.

Light priest specializes in healing and buffs while dark priest specializes in offense and debuffs.

However, the difference between dark mage and dark priest is that each leans towards either damage or debuffs.

Dark mage focus more on damage and possess more attack skills while dark priest focuses more on debuffs and most of its skills are instead debuffs and some annoying stuff.

And looking into both of these classes, I found out that they may be a perfect classes for a necromancer like myself.

Why?

Simple put the debuffs.

While dealing with the enemy, my undeads often end up dying quite fast because of how strong the enemy it, but if I were to put some debuffs on them, it should let my undead stay alive bit longer and give them chance to beat up enemy bit longer as well.

This reason may seem quiet simple, but in reality it's not.

Not only the enemy would have to deal with the horde of the undead, but they would also end up having being affected by debuff. Its simple tactic, but it's also quiet nasty.

From what I learned from the interested.

The dark mage is quiet popular class at the moment. Its quiet good when it comes to hunting monsters and even PVP.

As for the dark priest, it's annoying support class that can annoy enemies and that is definitely something I want.

There is a good chance that we would run into a powerful player or NPC that can give me some trouble. So having means of hindering them in some way possible would be good.

I may not unlock new necromancer class by having the dark priest and necromancer combination, but I don't mind. I really need those debuff skills at all cost.

Honestly speaking, it would be the nice if both of the dark priest and dark mage would provide me with necromancer classes.

Necromancer classes are one of the classes in the game that takes the longest to level up, so if I had multiple necromancer classes, I would be able to have them all level up faster since all of them would be related classes.

Well, I should be able to level up both of this classes to the max level, since I literally got shit tons of skill points.

I got both of their class skills and all basic skills, but obviously it will take some time to level up those classes to the point where they become "Useful" at our current level.

The dark priest is fast leveling up class while the dark mage takes bit much longer.

So, yea, those are my two new classes. I think I discussed everything.

Anyway, now that this is out of the way, let's talk bit about our current situation.

It did took us some time to get to the Silver Sand city, even without sand running lizards because of how far away it was located from the harpies nest, so pretty much we spend days traveling and sometimes we ended up running into monster or bandits.

However, besides the bandits and monsters, we didn't run into anything too big trouble and manage to get to the Silver Sand city with ease.

"Okay gang. We are here. This is a Silver Sand city." – said ClownFrog.

"…Okay…. This place… Seem rich?" – said Oron.

The entire party entered the Silver Sand city and were immediately greeted by many stalls and many beautiful buildings.

"According to the information, this city main source of income are the sea, the rich mines and merchants. This place is also a popular touristic spot. This city is quite popular among the nobles as well." – said ClownFrog while reading from his notes.

"So… Is it like Emerald city?" – asked Oron.

"Well, kind of? Most of the people living in this city are commons and nobles. Not many merchant have a base of operation here like shop or anything because of location and some other stuff, but they often come here in order to buy the expensive sea products you can get here. Apparently, you can sometimes get some really interesting things like rare materials from sea monsters."

"Apparently this place also holds some historical value. In here, the last battle between Umil and Adernul kingdom took place where Umil ended up losing and the kingdom was destroyed."

"Huh…"

"Anyway, we should restock the necessary stuff and then try to look for our target." – said ClownFrog.

"Objection." – said Shri.

"?"

"Em. Is something wrong Shri?" – asked GreyHunt.

"Well, yea! We were in action nonstop and all. I say we take a break or something." – said Shri.

"I agree. I mean, sea. I want to change into swimsuits and take a dip into the water and all while having fun!" – said Rampage.

"Yea! That's what I'm talking about! It's been ages since I last time I went and had swim in the sea." – said Shri.

"…"

"Em… Well… We all can… but you two can't." – said ClownFrog.

"?!"

"Why the fuck not?!" – said Shri and Rampage.

"Well, first of all, Rampage is a freaking vampire and she would need to evolve once or twice if she wants to not be bother so much by the freaking sun!"

"Oh."

"And you are literally fuking demonoid. A race despised by this freaking kingdom and all. If you would like to go to the beach then you would have to cover your entire head and wear that mask of yours or something to hide your eyes. That would definitely not look suspicious at all or anything. Just an average person in the swimsuit that covers their entire head with cloth and mask."

"…"

"You really like ruining people fun, don't you?" – asked Shri.

"It's not freaking me. Blame yourself for choosing your race. Once this is all over, you can probably have all of the beach for yourself or something." – said ClownFrog.

"I have to agree with him. I honestly, I also want to have fun at the beach, but I don't want to do it without you two. So once this is over, let's all have fun together." – said Blueberry.

"Oh… Okay." – said Rampage and Shri.

"…"

"So, where do we go after we restock stuff? Should we head straight to the adventurer guild just like last time?" – said GreyHunt.

"Yea. Literally two times before there was some trouble involving the tribes, so honestly it wouldn't surprise me at all if there was yet again something happening like that." – said Oron.

"Well… All we can do is hope, but I kind of doubt it will work or anything." – said GreyHunt.

We went around the city, vising different shops, restocking our potions and ammunition as well as doing some other stuff.

After all that was done, we headed straight to the adventurer guild to once again gather some info.

"…"

"Huh."

(Color me surprise. There is nothing.) – though ClownFrog.

(No quest regarding the lamias whatsoever or anything. Not even an bit of information. I even went around and asked the adventure guild discreetly about it but I found nothing.)

(Did by any chance the Melody Tail tribe got destroyed?)

(No. The harpies apparently had made a contact with them recently, so the Melody Tail should be still fine?)

(Huh. Will we have this time an easy time then? I mean, we know their location and all and we even have both the sigils from Sand Cobra tribe and Dessert Vulture tribe.)

(But would the talk go that easy?)

(I mean, unlike the other two where we had to earn their favor and save them from the danger in order to show them that we are trustworthy, the Melody Tail don't seem to be in danger or anything that we can save them from.)

(However, we can't be too sure yet. Its better if we just head directly to them and see if everything is really fine or is there a problem.)

"Well, there doesn't seem to be anything going on. So, we should just get going."
