SSS-Rank Harem Sword: My Lustful Life With Legendary Maidens

Chapter 240: The Heaven Defying Clash

The Farthest Edge of reality was not a physical place. It was a conceptual boundary where the vibrant tapestry of the new universe met the rotting graveyard of the old one. Here, the laws of physics were completely meaningless. Time did not flow forward. Space did not expand. There was only the suffocating grey fog and the millions of hateful, hollow eyes staring down at the tiny man holding an obsidian sword.

The millions of faces in the mist opened their mouths in perfect unison. They did not speak with words. They spoke with the crushing weight of cosmic authority. The sound was a telepathic roar that tasted like ash and smelled like ozone.

"You are a curse, Khaos," the Primordial entity bellowed. "You destroyed perfection because you were a flawed, angry child. Now, you play house in a universe made of stolen dust. We will erase your theft. We will erase your lineage. We will erase every memory of your pathetic existence."

Adonis Kingsbane did not flinch. He tightened his grip on the Chaotic Harem Sword. The blade, named Vexa, hummed with a frantic violet light. He knew he could not fight a war of this magnitude while carrying his wife. The shockwaves alone would atomize her fragile, fading body.

He turned to Mariana. He gently touched the center of her forehead with his free hand. He pushed a massive surge of his own chaotic life force out of his body and wrapped it entirely around her. The energy formed a shimmering, impenetrable bubble of warm violet light.

"I am sealing you in a pocket dimension of absolute safety," Adonis told her quickly. "It is anchored directly to my heartbeat. As long as my heart beats, the void cannot touch you. Stay inside, Mariana. Watch the stars. I will bring them back."

Mariana placed her hands against the inside of the violet bubble. She nodded her head, her beautiful face filled with unwavering trust.

Adonis turned back to face the massive wall of nothingness. He took a deep breath, filling his lungs with the static of dead space. He let go of the lazy, peaceful nobleman persona. He unsealed the heavy metaphysical doors inside his soul. He did not open them to release pure destruction, as he had done in his ancient past. He opened them to release pure, unadulterated defiance.

"My name is not Khaos," Adonis roared back at the void. "My name is Adonis Kingsbane. And this universe belongs to my family."

The Heaven defying battle officially began.

The Primordial entity struck first. It did not use standard magic. It attacked using the fundamental laws of absolute erasure. A massive, grey tendril shot out from the wall of mist.

Buzzz!

It was a concentrated beam of cosmic deletion. Anything it touched would simply cease to be, erased from the timeline entirely.

Adonis swung Vexa upward. He did not aim to block the beam. Chaos could not block. Chaos could only break.

The obsidian blade clashed against the beam of deletion. The impact was cataclysmic. A blinding flash of conflicting realities exploded outward. Space itself shattered like a fragile glass window. Massive, jagged cracks of glowing white light spiderwebbed across the dark cosmic sky. Adonis roared, pushing his intent into the sword. He forced the concept of deletion to break down. The grey tendril violently shattered into a shower of harmless, dull sparks.

The millions of faces in the fog twisted in sheer outrage. The dead gods realized that the boy they once knew had changed. He was no longer just a reckless force of nature. He was wielding his power with incredible precision.

"You merely delay the inevitable," the entity mocked. "Let us see how you handle the ghosts of your own sins."

The grey mist began to violently churn. Out of the cosmic fog, colossal figures began to step forward. They were constructed entirely of grey static, but Adonis recognized them instantly. They were the avatars of the people he had murdered in his past life.

There was King Aurelius, grown to the size of a solar system, holding a crown of dead stars. There was High Mage Valerius, wearing robes of rotting magic. And leading them all was Aegis, the Heroic Maiden, holding a divine broadsword that pulsed with hateful corrupted light.

"Die, anomaly," the giant ghost of Aegis commanded.

She swung her massive sword downward. The blade was larger than a planet. It descended toward Adonis with the speed of a falling meteor, tearing a trench through the fabric of the cosmos.

Adonis did not retreat. He bent his knees, gathering the infinite power of his core. The violet veins in his sword burned so brightly they turned almost white. He launched himself directly upward, flying straight toward the descending blade like a tiny, glowing bullet.

"Destroy!" Adonis commanded.

He swung Vexa directly into the edge of the giant sword. The collision produced a sound so loud it ripped the concept of sound apart.

RUMBLE!

The Farthest Edge trembled violently. For a split second, the two opposing forces pushed against each other. The divine static of the old world fought against the protective chaos of the new world.

Adonis thought of his sons. He thought of Ignis throwing a fireball. He thought of Minos building castles in the dirt. He thought of Devon reading his books.

A massive surge of pure, parental love flooded into the obsidian crystal. The chaotic energy mutated. It became heavier, denser, and absolutely unstoppable.

The giant sword of static shattered. The shockwave traveled up the ghost’s arm, completely disintegrating the massive avatar of Aegis.

Adonis did not stop his momentum. He flew higher, spinning through the cosmic debris. He swung his blade in a massive, horizontal arc.

Hummmm!

A crescent wave of violet energy shot forward, expanding until it was millions of miles wide. The wave sliced cleanly through the giant avatars of the dead King and the dead High Mage, reducing them to scattered dust.

The Primordial entity shrieked in absolute fury. The sound caused nearby dying nebulas to instantly implode.

"You dare use our own creations against us?" the entity screamed.

The wall of nothingness suddenly expanded. The grey fog rushed forward, attempting to swallow Adonis and Mariana completely.

The Celestials decided to stop playing games. They pulled on the underlying fabric of reality, creating a localized gravity well so incredibly intense that light itself was crushed into heavy black cubes.

Adonis felt the crushing weight of a million dead suns press down upon his shoulders. His flight stopped instantly. He was slammed downward into the invisible floor of the cosmos.

His bones creaked loudly. The fabric of his black robe began to tear apart. The extreme gravity was trying to compress him into a subatomic singularity.

He looked back. The violet bubble protecting Mariana was shaking violently under the pressure.

The Farthest Edge was collapsing.

"Adonis!" Mariana’s voice echoed in his mind.

She was using her telepathic connection as the Star Empress. She was pushing through the pain, analyzing the cosmic battlefield.

"The entity is too large. You cannot just cut the fog. You need to sever their anchor. Look above the center face. There is a cluster of dark matter that does not shift. It is the core of their remaining consciousness. Strike the core."

Adonis fought against the unbearable gravity. He forced himself to stand up on one knee. His muscles burned with agonizing pain.

Still, he wiped a stream of silver blood from his lip. He looked up into the swirling grey storm.

Mariana was right. High above the millions of shifting faces, there was a single, perfectly still sphere of pure, concentrated dark matter. It was the heart of the Celestials. It was the absolute source of the grey sickness infecting his home.

"I see it," Adonis gritted his teeth.

He needed to reach that sphere. But the gravity well was holding him down like a physical chain. He needed to do something he had never done before. He needed to sacrifice a part of his own chaotic nature to create a path.

Adonis stabbed Vexa directly into the invisible floor of space. He let go of the hilt. He raised both of his hands above his head. He did not pull the gravity apart. He absorbed it.

He opened his own soul and swallowed the crushing weight of the dead universe. The agony was unimaginable. It felt like swallowing a sea of broken glass.

His body trembled. His veins bulged, glowing with a terrifying, toxic grey light. He was taking the celestial punishment directly into his own mortal vessel so that the space around him would become free.

The gravity instantly lifted.

Adonis grabbed his sword again. He did not have much time. The cosmic poison was already tearing at his internal organs. He channeled every single drop of his remaining strength into the Chaotic Harem Sword. He thought of his beautiful wives waiting for him in the grey garden. He thought of the peaceful life he had fought so desperately to build.

He kicked off the invisible floor, launching himself toward the massive dark matter sphere at speeds that completely broke the laws of physics. He was a streak of blinding violet light cutting through the absolute darkness.

The faces in the fog panicked. They shot thousands of grey tendrils to intercept him. They hurled compressed planets and dead stars at his flying form.

Adonis spun like a drill. He deflected the dead planets. He severed the grey tendrils. He was entirely focused. He was a father protecting his home, and there was absolutely no force in the multiverse that could stop him.

He reached the top of the entity. The dark matter sphere pulsed with a terrifying, ancient heartbeat.

Adonis raised Vexa high above his head. The blade was screaming, vibrating with the ultimate synthesis of Chaos and Love.

"This is for my family," Adonis roared.

He brought the sword down with a Heaven defying strike. He plunged the obsidian blade directly into the exact center of the dark matter sphere.

For one agonizing second, absolutely nothing happened. The universe held its breath.

Then, the sphere cracked.

Brilliant, blinding violet light erupted from the fractures. The light poured into the grey fog. The millions of faces began to scream in pure, unadulterated terror. The chaotic energy did not just destroy them. It forced them to accept the new reality. It forced the ghosts to finally die.

A massive explosion of light consumed the Farthest Edge.

The shockwave was not a force of destruction. It was a wave of pure, vibrant color. It washed over the dead cosmic space, painting the nebulas back into existence. It reignited the dead stars, filling the sky with a beautiful, sparkling glow.

Adonis floated in the center of the newly born light, panting heavily. His sword was still glowing warmly. He looked down and watched the grey sickness melt away completely.

He turned around and flew back down to the violet bubble. The protective shield lowered. Mariana floated out, her translucent skin completely solid again. The beautiful, swirling galaxy of purple and gold had returned to her hair. Her eyes were bright and full of life.

She looked past him, staring at the newly ignited stars.

"You fixed the sky husband," Mariana whispered in

Adonis dropped his sword. He pulled his wife into a deep, desperate hug. He buried his face in her sparkling hair, breathing in the scent of starlight and sweet pastries.

"I told you I would. Now, let us go home. We have a picnic to finish."
