Chapter 169: Divine Seed
Adonis gently pulled away from the embrace, his eyes glowing with a resolve that felt more dangerous than the Chaos energy swirling around him. He looked at Millia, whose warmth was returning, but whose aura still felt fragile from the trauma of the void.
He knew that that so called God would not stop. To protect her, she didn’t just need to be alive, she needed to be untouchable.
With a flick of his wrist, the system interface manifested in the dim air, glowing with a soft blue light.

Almost immediately, a tiny, obsidian orb appeared in the palm of his hand. It was less of an object and more of a localized absence of light. It pulsed with a rhythmic, heavy throb that seemed to sync with the very heartbeat of the planet.
Thump, thump, thumo.
Millia gasped as she sensed the overwhelming potent darkness authority contained within that small seed.
"Millia, I am done watching you be a victim of this world’s rules. Take this, and become the rule itself." he said as he pressed the seed against Millia’s chest.
The moment the Divine Seed of Darkness touched her skin, it didn’t just sink in; it erupted.
VROOOOM!
From Millia, a pillar of absolute darkness erupted, blasting upward and shattering the remaining roof of the underground chamber.
The light of the higher realms, that judgmental eye of the "God", was suddenly eclipsed.
The darkness was not a mere shadow; it was a physical force, thick as velvet and sharp as a razor.
Buzz! Buzz! Buzzz!
Millia’s body floated upward, suspended in the center of a swirling vortex of black and violet energy. Her simple clothes were shredded by the pressure, only to be replaced by a gown woven from the very fabric of the night.
The silk-like material flowed around her like living smoke, adorned with constellations that flickered with a cold, silver light. Her hair lengthened, turning into a river of midnight that defied gravity, and her eyes, once brown, now held the depth of an entire universe.

Thud!
As her feet touched the obsidian floor, a shockwave of authority rippled outward. It traveled through the ruins of the Golden Cube, out into the shattered streets of the City of Death, and deep into the marrow of every skeletal warrior still standing.
Millia looked at her hands, her expression one of serene, terrifying grace. She wasn’t just Millia the maid or Millia the sweetheart anymore.
She was the budding goddess of the abyss.
"I can feel them, Husband," she whispered in a haunting, melodic echo. "Every soul that was promised to the Undead Master... they belong to me now."
She raised a slender hand toward the ruined city. "Rise."
CLACK! CLACK! CLACK!
The sound of a hundred thousand bones snapping into place echoed far and wide.
From the rubble of the basalt towers and the ash-heaps of the plaza, the undead began to stand. But they weren’t the mindless thralls of the previous Master. Their eye-sockets flared with a deep, loyal violet flame.
The Reapers, the skeletal knights, and even the "Faded" humans felt a surge of vitality as their hollow forms were filled with her divine shadow.
"By the Goddess’s will!" the undead cried out in a terrifying, unified roar that shook the very foundations of the Necro-Lands.
"LONG LIVE HER EXCELLENCY!"
"MAY DARKNESS REIGN ETERNITY!"
Ignoring the unified growls, Millia turned her gaze to the Golden Cube.
She didn’t use a tool or a spell, she simply willed the darkness to mend what had been broken.
Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh...
The shattered gold fragments flew back together, the cracks sealing with veins of black obsidian.
Within seconds, the Cube was whole again, but it was no longer a hungry sun. It was a dark sanctuary, a fortress of the night that stood as a defiant middle finger to the higher realms.
"Husband," Millia said, walking toward him. Her movements were so graceful she seemed to glide over the ground. She stopped in front of him and knelt, not out of servitude, but out of a profound, divine devotion.
"Your shadow is ready. My army, my city, and my very divinity are yours to command."
Adonis reached out, lifting her chin so he could look into those cosmic eyes. He felt the connection between them through the Harem System. It had evolved.
It was now a bridge of absolute power.
Adonis smiled, the naughty spark returning to his eyes as he pulled his newly ascended Goddess to his chest.
"I told you...I am the Author of my own destiny. And in my story, my Queen is the most powerful being in existence."
.
Floating beside them, Vexa chirped:
"Master, I think the higher gods are going to have a tough time ahead. You didn’t just create the ruler of Necro-Lands, you created the bane of their existence. That being said, Whoever is after you, they won’t sit idly by."
"I know, Vexa. And I can already guess their next move."
Adonis looked out at the tens of thousands of undead bowing in the plaza, their violet eyes reflecting the glory of their new Goddess.
"They will send their slaves, but our army will be ready. And this time we won’t stop until we conqueror them all."
"Well said, master. It’s time you conqueror this world already."
Millia leaned on his shoulder.
"I will always be with you, my husband. Whether it is heaven or hell."
The City of Death was no longer a place of loss. It was another stronghold of his growing empire.
And this empire will be the strongest of them all.
