Chapter 150: Visit The Ruby City
The next day, "uh," Dennis woke up with his body aching all over. He could barely move. Yesterday’s training, combined with some very passionate intimacy, had left him absolutely miserable this morning. He glanced over at Daisy, who was still fast asleep beside him, and suddenly remembered to check the clock. It was already eight in the morning. Then he recalled that break had officially started, and he collapsed back onto the bed.
"Ugh... I should probably just stay home and rest today," Dennis muttered.
But then, he remembered the conversation from the previous night, right after he’d come home from school and finished dinner.

After dinner, Dennis, Daisy, Diana, Dahlia, Donna, Deborah, Dulcia, and Daphne had gathered in the living room to talk with William, Elenor, and Martha, who was cradling Destiny.
"Son, we’re heading back tomorrow. Why don’t you and all your wives come with us to Ruby City? It’s been a long time since you’ve been home, hasn’t it?" William suggested.
"Don’t worry. Since the attack, Ruby City and Emerald City are planning to navigate the world together. You’ll be able to visit and come home whenever you want, and our communication will be much better," Elenor added.
"It is the holidays, after all. Besides, Destiny should get to know her grandparents’ house. What do you all think?" William asked.
"I think it’s a great idea," added Martha, who was busy letting Destiny wrap a tiny hand around her finger.
"What do you guys think?" Dennis asked, turning to look at his seven wives sitting in a row beside him.
"I’m in, honey. We’ve got a long break anyway, and the only thing on the schedule this month is the upcoming match," Daisy answered.
"I want to go too. I think the others feel the same, husband," Diana said, gesturing to the rest of them.
Without needing to say a word, Dahlia, Donna, Deborah, Dulcia, and Daphne all leaned forward to look at Dennis and gave him a thumbs-up. After making sure everyone was on board, Dennis turned back to William, Elenor, and Martha.
"Alright, we’ll be the ones visiting Mom and Dad’s place this time. But would it be okay if you guys head back the day after tomorrow instead? We need tomorrow to get everything ready," Dennis suggested.
"Hmm... good point. Fine, I’ll call the office tomorrow and let them know we’re returning the day after," William said.
"Oh, I’m so excited! I’m going to set up a special nursery for Destiny right away. The neighbors are going to be so thrilled to meet my first grandchild," Elenor said, already daydreaming.
"And I’ll be coming over often, if that’s okay," Martha added.
"Of course it’s okay! In fact, if you can, you should all stay over at Martha’s place too," Elenor said to Daisy.
"But I live in an apartment and it’s not very comfortable. You’re welcome to visit, but I wouldn’t recommend staying the night," Martha replied.
"Hmm, true. Since I don’t want us to be a bother, Daisy, the others, and I can just stay at a hotel..."
"What are you talking about, son? You still have a room at home. Don’t even think about staying in a hotel," William interrupted, sounding annoyed.
"Oh... okay, Dad," Dennis replied, giving in.
"Um... but we’re pretty noisy... is that really okay?" Daisy asked, while the six twins nodded along, waiting for an answer.
"Um... but we’re pretty noisy... is that really okay?" Daisy asked, while the other six twins nodded and waited for an answer.
"Right, and is it okay for the neighbors to see us all there?" Dennis added.
"It’s fine... just please, try to dial back your nighttime activities a little bit. Don’t get me wrong, the bones of my house are good, but it’s an old building and it wouldn’t be right to the neighbors. Got it?" William asked.
Dennis and all seven versions of Daisy turned bright red instantly. Elenor immediately swatted William’s shoulder and gave her husband a sharp glare, while Martha looked away, trying to stifle a laugh. "Giggle." Destiny suddenly made a sound, pulling everyone’s attention back to her, and they returned to their casual conversation.

Back in the present morning, Dennis stared blankly at the ceiling with a stunned expression. He lifted his arm and rubbed his face.
"I have to pack for the trip today, huh? Man, I wish I could just sleep all day. My body feels so weak," Dennis muttered to himself.
Dennis sat up and looked over at Diana, Dahlia, Donna, Deborah, Dulcia, and Daphne, who were all still fast asleep. Meanwhile, he noticed Destiny’s crib moving, the rattle hanging above it spinning and making noise. It turned out the tinkling sound of the bell was what had woken him up. He climbed out of bed and walked over to the crib, seeing Destiny moving around actively, her round eyes and head darting everywhere. When she saw Dennis, she flashed a smile, and Dennis couldn’t help but smile back. He picked her up and held her, only to realize her diaper was full.
"Whoa, you’re definitely full, kiddo. Okay, let Daddy change you real quick," Dennis said.
Dennis carried Destiny over to the changing table, grabbed a diaper, and began undressing her.
"Whoaaa... that is one full diaper. That’s my girl," Dennis remarked upon seeing the mess.
As he reached for a wet wipe to clean her up, "knock... knock," there was a rap at the door.
"Who is it?" Dennis called out.
"It’s Mom," Elenor replied from the other side.
"Come on in, Mom, I’m a bit busy," Dennis shouted.
Elenor opened the door and saw a shirtless Dennis wiping Destiny down, drying her off, applying some powder, and then strapping on a fresh diaper.
"There we go, Daddy’s girl is all fresh now," Dennis said, lifting Destiny back into his arms.
He then turned to see Elenor, who was beaming at him with a look of wonder. "What is it, Mom?" Dennis asked, confused by her expression.
"It’s nothing. I just wanted to let you know that we’re heading back tomorrow; your father already notified the office about it. You’ve really grown up, haven’t you? I’m truly proud of you," Elenor said, her pride clear as she watched her son holding Destiny.
"Ah, it’s no big deal, Mom. Anyway, we’ll get ready today," Dennis replied.
Elenor then turned to look at the seven versions of Daisy still sleeping in their respective beds.
"Which one is Destiny’s real mother?" Elenor asked.
"Oh... that one... yeah... that one," Dennis answered, pointing randomly, and he happened to point at Daphne.
Elenor studied Daphne, and since Daphne happened to be slightly curvier than the others, she believed him instantly. Then she turned back to Dennis.
"So, when are the others coming?" Elenor asked innocently.
"Huh... what do you mean?" Dennis asked, confused.
"There’s only one so far. I should have seven grandchildren, shouldn’t I?" Elenor answered casually with a smile.
"Hah... Mom, what are you even talking about? Don’t start with the weird stuff, it’s still early," Dennis replied, his face turning beet red.
"I’m not joking. I want to be surrounded by grandkids," Elenor countered with a smile.
"Ugh... we’ll just have to see about that," Dennis muttered, completely at a loss for words.
Suddenly, footsteps approached and "Good grief!" a shout rang out from the doorway. Dennis, Elenor, and even Destiny—who was busy sucking on her own index finger—turned toward the door. Martha was standing there, looking absolutely incensed at the sight of the seven Daisys still fast asleep in their beds.
"Everyone, wake up!" Martha yelled.
The seven Daisys bolted upright in shock, immediately sitting up in bed. When they realized it was Martha standing in the doorway with her hands on her hips, they scrambled out of bed and began frantically tidying up.
"Unbelievable... it’s already this late and you’re all still sleeping? What are you going to do with yourselves? Hurry up and get downstairs, breakfast is ready," Martha scolded.
"Sorry... sorry, Mom," Daisy, Diana, Dahlia, Donna, Deborah, Dulcia, and Daphne all replied in unison.
Martha then marched over to Dennis and took Destiny from his arms before turning to Elenor.
"Let’s go, Elenor. Food is ready. I can’t believe you left me down there alone with just your husband," Martha complained while cradling the baby.
"Oh... right. Let’s go eat. I’ll make the bottle for Destiny. Come on, Dennis, you come down too," Elenor said.
"Yeah Mom, in a second," Dennis replied.
Finally, the two grandmothers carried Destiny out of the room and closed the door behind them. Daisy and the others gathered around Dennis. He looked at them all and gave each one a kiss on the forehead, but "Ow," they cried out.
"Huh... what’s wrong?" Dennis asked, confused.
"Everything is sore, honey. I feel like I’m dying," Daisy groaned.
"Yeah, seriously. I feel exhausted even though I just woke up," Diana added.
"Going back to sleep," Dahlia said curtly, her eyes closed even though she was standing up.
"Ugh... even my tail feels sore," Donna added.
"You guys have it easy. I was up all night holding Destiny every time she woke up... uuuugh," Deborah grumbled.
"It wasn’t just you, I was up too," Dulcia replied, no longer acting anti-baby.
"Alright, let’s just go... we need to get downstairs before Mom gets mad again," Daphne said.
"Uuuugh," everyone groaned.
Dennis looked at the seven Daisys surrounding him, smiling as he shook his head. "Your own fault for being so aggressive yesterday," he muttered to himself. "Let’s go. After we eat, we need to get ready and pack our things for the trip to Ruby City," Dennis said.
"Yeah... let’s go," the seven Daisys replied weakly in unison.
