Chapter 1108 - 350: Technology Has Its Uses Too (Part 3)
He slowly descended, the blade pointed at Seti, his tone tinged with a bit of mockery. Amenhotep looked at the sword that could almost cleave a mountain and then at the "iron can" in the sky, covered tightly from head to toe, his expression changing several hundred times before he finally couldn’t help but roar in anger.
"I quit! This is too unfair!" Seti finally snapped back to reality, furious enough that his beard bristled, "I can’t even touch him; what’s the point of this fight?"
He threw down the shield abruptly and turned to leave.
Anubis remained silent for two seconds before speaking slowly.
"The trial... continues."
This was the oracle, and even the heroic spirit of the legendary warriors could not defy it. After all, there was a distinction between legendary warriors, and this ancient Egyptian warrior belonged to those under the gods.
Far less free than King Arthur.
"What?!" Seti widened his eyes, his footsteps abruptly halted, a face full of unwillingness and anger, glaring at Anubis, "This bias is too obvious!"
He truly felt it was unfair, but alas, his protest was ineffective. Because after contemplating for a moment, Anubis did not consider Ian to be cheating; wizards inherently had more than one way to fight.
Meanwhile, Ian had already raised his hand, the forty-meter-long sword slashing down with the sound of tearing through the air!
"Clang—!!!"
Seti hastily raised the shield to block.
The whole person was shaken by the immense force, retreating a dozen steps.
A deep dent appeared prominently on the shield.
"Wait! I demand a weapon change!" The ancient Egyptian warrior rolled awkwardly to dodge the second sword, shouting to the judge’s stand, "I want flying gear too!"
Anubis: "..."
Of course, he could not fulfill the opponent’s request, so he silently diverted his gaze. Ian’s laughter came from within the armor: "Sorry, I don’t offer enemy after-sales service either."
With that, he swung the great sword again, the blade turning.
"Take my shot of ’Physics Holy Sword’!" Ian hovered in mid-air, the jet engine behind him emitting a low hum, the blue-white exhaust flame trailing a dazzling path in the dim arena. He swung the forty-meter-long great chopping sword with one hand, the blade tearing the air, making a sound so terrifying it gave one goosebumps.
"Clang—!!"
Seti clenched his teeth, arm muscles taut, the bronze round shield once again rigidly took a heavy hit.
The terrifying impact made his feet sink deep into the sandy ground, the sun god emblem on the shield already twisted and deformed. His tiger’s mouth cracked, blood flowing down his forearm, dripping on the yellow sand.
"I @#¥%&!!!"
The Egyptian’s mouth was certainly capable of biting, cursing unpleasantly.
"This is not swordsmanship... it’s simply wielding a large hammer!" The ancient Egyptian warrior roared inwardly. But what truly made him despair was—Ian simply did not give him a chance to counterattack.
Whenever Seti leapt up, or used the height of surrounding buildings, trying to close the distance with Ian, that exaggeratedly large sword would sweep across like swatting a fly, forcing him to roll and dodge awkwardly. And when he finally found an opening, struggling to throw the Hepash curved sword into the air.
"Clang!"
The curved sword hit Ian’s breastplate precisely, but only sparked on the heavy metal surface before falling powerlessly.
"Carrier-class composite armor, a creation of pure technology." Ian’s voice came through the armor mask, with a bit of mockery, "Don’t waste your efforts with non-enchanted weapons."
This was the victory of technology.
"Damn it!" Seti half knelt on the ground, gasping heavily. Sweat mixed with blood slid down from his forehead, his vision beginning to blur. The souls in the stands had already quieted down, even those "cheerleaders" Ian conjured with magic stopped cheering, leaving only the humming of the jet engine in the arena.
At this moment.
"You come from the future."
Suddenly.
Anubis seemed to realize something.
He frowned, looking at Ian.
