Hogwarts: Bloodline Legend

Chapter 1107 - 350: The Power of Technology, Part 2

Yes.

The influence of divine power on Ian dissipated into nothingness.

Anubis was obviously taken aback.

"You... are a demigod?" The voice of the God of Death of Ancient Egypt had a rare trace of uncertainty, his brows slightly furrowed as if he found it hard to believe.

Ian shook his head gently, his tone calm.

"No, I am neither a god nor a demigod, I am just a wizard." He corrected calmly, paused, and then added: "Moreover, you don’t need to seal my magic—because I don’t need to use magic at all."

Such a confident statement.

Not something one would expect a yet immature little wizard to say.

Seti and the souls in the audience were all stunned.

Anubis fell silent.

While the "virtual fans" in the audience immediately shouted.

"Ian doesn’t need a magic wand! He uses his brain!"

"He battles with knowledge!"

"He speaks through history!"

These virtual spectators were Ian’s mouthpieces. Anubis and those souls were very curious about how a wizard could fight a warrior without magic.

"I am from Hogwarts, I know not only how to wield a magic wand but also how to use a treasure sword." Ian chuckled softly, and with that, he reached out and pulled a weapon from under his robe—a massive cleaver, forty meters long, crafted entirely from silvery-white metal, its blade shimmering with a cold glow.

The blade was covered with ancient runes.

Each rune contained the mysteries of alchemy and magic potion studies. The moment the massive cleaver appeared in the arena, the air seemed to tremble.

Seti: "...?"

Audience: "...???"

Anubis: "..."

The God of Death’s jackal mask almost snapped. The "real audience" gasped collectively, and the previous shouts of "Seti" came to an abrupt halt.

The arena plunged into a brief silence, as if time had frozen at that moment.

"No, isn’t this weapon a bit too much of a cheat?" Anubis stood at the judge’s stand, his deep-set eyes slightly widening under the jackal mask.

"He calls this massive cleaver a treasure sword?" The Ancient Egyptian Warrior’s eyes were wide open, his shield slightly quivering in his hands, unable to hold back from speaking, his voice dry.

Apparently struck by a major shock of wisdom.

How can one continue to fight like this?

Someone else’s forty-meter-long cleaver.

"No one ever stipulated that I can’t have such a long weapon, right?" Ian grinned, swinging the forty-meter-long cleaver with one hand, its tip pointing directly at the Ancient Egyptian Warrior.

"Hmm?"

Seti, holding his treasure sword, his bronze muscles tight, stared intently at Ian—and to be accurate, at the forty-meter-long cleaver in Ian’s hand.

That’s not all.

The warrior held his shield, muscles tense, ready to meet Ian’s forty-meter-long cleaver. But just as he was about to charge forward.

Ian performed an unexpected move—he didn’t pull out a shield. Instead, he took a set of silver-grey pure metal electrically-powered armor from his waist pouch.

The armor was fully covered, and the moment it unfolded, metal parts automatically adhered to his body, making a locking sound with a "clack". The whole armor fit perfectly, as if it was his second layer of skin. The fur cloak fluttered in the wind, gleaming alongside the metal, resembling a warrior from the future.

"This..." the warrior’s eyes widened, "What’s that?"

"This... this isn’t according to the rules, right? How can anyone fight?" He couldn’t help but turn his head to look at Anubis on the judge’s stand, his voice carrying a hint of accusation.

"Is this guy allowed to be an iron canister too?"

Anubis’s jackal mask twitched slightly, a rare trace of hesitancy appearing in his golden eyes. By common judgment, the arena tests a warrior’s courage and skill, but Ian’s gear... indeed surpassed the Ancient Egyptian Warrior’s understanding. Just as the God of Death was contemplating how to respond, Ian kindly stepped in to help.

"Oh, my warrior."

The voice with a smile came from under the mask of the armor.

"I’m not an iron canister."

"I’m a flying iron canister."

—Clack! Clang!

The metal panel at the back of the armor suddenly expanded, six micro jet engines simultaneously ignited, spewing out blue-white flames! The jet engines carried Ian into the sky.

No magic, only technology, giving these ancients a wave of Muggle technology shock.

Boom!!!

Ian rose into the air, hovering, the forty-meter-long cleaver whirled above his head, the wind pressure uplifted the dust at the edge of the arena.

The entire field fell silent.

Seti looked up, his mouth slightly agape, the sickle sword in his hand almost slipping. The souls in the audience collectively froze, forgetting even to cheer. Anubis’s scepter hung suspended in the air, neither lowered nor raised—he indeed felt no magic fluctuation, but this was evidently beyond what mortals could achieve.

Muggle technology, shocking Ancient Egypt.

"What is that?"

"He flew up?"

"No wings, no spell, how did he fly?" The "real audience" was genuinely stunned, their earlier chants of "Seti is invincible" had long vanished.

Replaced by low whispers and shock.

Meanwhile.

Ian’s "virtual fans" erupted in cheers.

"Hogwarts technology revolution!"

"Technology armor, flight technology!"

"Ian is invincible!"

They were excellent virtual spokespeople, freely educating the ancients that this was not magic.

"Come on, jump up and hit me on the knee, warrior!" Ian waved the forty-meter-long cleaver in the air, its edge slicing through the air, producing a whistling sound.
