Previously, while slaughtering his way from Level 12 of the mountain to Level 35, at first the average EXP that he gained for slaughtering over a thousand Qi Beasts in each realm of the mountain was below 5 billion EXP.
As he climbed higher, the EXP gain from each slaughter slowly increased till the average hit 18 billion EXP.
From Level 30 upwards, it hit above 20 billion EXP and now, it finally hit 40+ billion EXP for a single level apart from the normal system rewards.
And this was despite being helped by Theodore this time.
This was because the stronger and more high-leveled the Qi Beast, the more EXP he would gain for each kill.
The difficulty for clearing each level was clearly increasing, but as a Level 42 Adept Mage now, Julian could not wait till when he climbed above the 40th realm of Dragon’s Tooth.
At Level 40+ of the mountain, each kill would become truly substantial then.
At Level 50+ above his current level, though the difficulty of killing a thousand QI Beasts would increase exponentially, but so would the reward as every single kill would bag him a ton of EXP.

With each kill, their slaughter instincts became even more refined as they slowly grew to revel in the slaughter.
With each level of the mountain that they climbed, the difficulty of the mission became harder but with Leon leading the charge and the fast-developing Theodore following behind him, they were unstoppable.
By nightfall, they cleared 13 more levels of the mountain.
They were now at the 49th level of Dragon’s Tooth, all of this within just a single day!

Just like Julian predicted, at some point, the amount of EXP that he got from slaughtering Qi Beasts the higher they climbed started dwarfing the amount of EXP that the system was rewarding him.
In just 13 levels of the mountain, Julian gained a whopping 1 trillion EXP!
This was the most EXP that he had ever gotten.
And yet, despite it, Julian only leveled up once from Level 43 to Level 44 which once again highlighted the difficulty of leveling up for him.
Unlike him though, Theodore leveled up a whopping 6 times during this period, leveling up to Level 48.
Her growth speed dwarfed his own completely.
The realization grew in Julian’s head that despite the fact that she literally became a Witch just last week, Theodore would climb to C Rank and become a Level 50 Awakened before him.
But that was not his focus at this moment.
Julian could not help but frown as he looked at the numbers that were being projected by the Debauchery System.
’I need 1.5 trillion EXP to level up to the next level’. The thought of it alone filled him with a sense of frustration and anxiety.
Yes, the higher he climbed the mountain, the more EXP he was going to gain for each kill and each level. But in the same way, the higher he climbed, the harder it would become for him to slaughter 1000 Qi Beasts in that realm and complete the system mission.
Julian’s frown deepened.

She panted slightly, but still she asked. "Should we continue?"
"No," Julian shook his head. "Rushing will only slow us down, we need to rest for the night and properly prepare for tomorrow’s raid".
His eyes gleamed. "I feel that the next level is going to hold something unique and different for us".
