Chapter 123: Dominating the 36th Level
Julian dove from the sky and within 2 seconds, he broke the sound barrier!

The thousands of Qi Beasts who called this part of the tall mountain home finally paid attention to what was descending from the sky, but it was too late to react at such a short time frame.
Claiming the tallest hill within the 36th realm of the mountain for itself, the strongest Qi Beast in this level was a Level 40 monster.
This was a Giant Gray Rat with 2 black horns, sharp fangs and claws.
There was an extremely feral and predatory qi energy around the Giant Rat, so much that even when sleeping this qi aura emanated passively from its body, intimidating any other Qi Beast around it.
It intimidated everyone else, but not the Demonic Dragon.
Julian went for the strongest Qi Beast immediately and as he dove from the sky at the speed of sound, he positioned the Hell Piercer for a devastating attack.
Infernal Impale!
The spearhead of the spear immediately ignited with infernal energy, but Julian was not yet satisfied as...
Hellfire!
Elemental Infusion!
He infused so much flames, both infernal and elemental into the spear that the spear blade began burning with white and purple flames.
But despite the speed that he descended at, the Giant Rat managed to react on time having sensed and predicted the danger ahead of time even in its sleep. It jolted awake immediately, ready to dodge but Julian’s qi flared again.
Fear Projection!
Dominion Aura!
BZZZZZ!
The Giant Rat was paralyzed!
The look in its eyes finally changed, flickering with fear and panic but it was too late as with the tip of the spear aimed right at the head of the upright Giant Rat, Julian descended.
BAM!
CRITICAL HIT!
One hit, one kill.

The blade of the Spear stabbed into the head of the Giant Rat, cracking its skull open and piercing inside, then an internal combustion followed as a combination of infernal and elemental flames ravaged inside the head of the once-powerful Qi Beast.
The Rat’s gigantic head burst in a shower of fire, blood, and gore.
The Giant Rat died instantly as its mighty body collapsed with a thud. And for a brief moment, silence reigned in the 36th realm of Dragon’s Tooth.

The Giant Rat was a King and as the ruler of the entire 36th level of the tall mountain, it had subjects. And now, all its subjects and harem of powerful Rats stared at its dead body in a daze.
Most of them were stunned, but those with danger premonition just like their King turned around immediately to bolt.
This enemy was stronger than them!
Before they could distance themselves though, the Demon that just ended their King in a single attack flapped his mighty wings and rose into the sky again.
Hellfire still burned around his body and as it did, his qi flared.
Dragon Breath- Fire Blanket!
BOOM!
Julian unleashed a torrent of flames from his mouth, burning large swathes of the terrain and roasting all the Qi Beasts in the vicinity to death!
Seeing the ocean of orange flames descending from the sky and the massive Dragon wings bloating out the sky, the Qi Beasts panicked as they believed that an adult Dragon just paid them a visit.
They lost all sense of resistance immediately as they turned around to bolt and escape from the rampaging Dragon.
That made them easy prey for Julian because he did just that, he went on a slaughter of the weaker Qi Beasts after killing their King first.
Blink!
He moved like a phantom.
Forest Roots!
Originally, this skill was supposed to be used to bind enemies but this time, Julian improvised as instead of restricting it to just it’s intended use, he also decided to use it as fuel for his spreading flames as he continued breathing fire.
And even as he did, his qi flared incessantly as he used more skills.
Slumber!
He put them to sleep inside the flames, making their road to death smoother with less bumps along the way.
Aether Bolt! ×1000!
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
Julian was unstoppable as he singlehandedly dominated the realm.
But unlike the past dozens of realms of the tall mountain that he’d conquered, this time, he was not alone.
Theodore wreaked havoc in the background.

With the flames from Lord Zaratul spreading across the realm like wildfire spreading through a farm in harmattan, Theodore was like a fish in water as she hunted in troubled waters.
With a combination of Hex Spark, Minor Hex, and Misfortune Drift, she stacked debuffs of bad luck, clumsiness, and discomfort on the Qi Beasts.
Even while burning, those that barely survived the flames became so unlucky that some impaled their burning selves in the dead horns of their fellow Qi Beasts.
Some overwhelmed and in a world of pain stumbled towards her without paying attention, making it extremely easy for her as she slaughtered them with just a single slash of her daggers.
Having picked heat resistance gear from Dreadmoor’s armory before embarking on this mission as was advised by Ms. Lilith, she was able to move unscathed at the periphery of the fire as she hunted those that survived its flames.
Together, she and Lord Zaratul were unchallenged as they spread flames and destruction through the realm.

A few dozen minutes later...
Crackle! Crackle!
The crackling sounds of dying fire reverberated in the background, accentuating the presence of a Demonic Dragon and a Wolfkin, one of them levitating in the sky and the other standing with a pair of daggers.
They both stood and levitated in the center of the carnage that they just caused as over a thousand corpses surrounded them.
Blood flowed like a river, staining the entire realm red. Very few Qi Beasts survived the slaughter.
And then, as he observed the result of his actions, the Debauchery System lit up again in Julian’s vision.
