Chapter 147: The Fusion Skill (Bonus)
The changes that came with fusion might not have been significant for other summoners, but Ethan understood just how different it would be for him.
He wasn’t a regular summoner. He belonged to that rare 0.1% hybrid, with access to all seven classes. Fusing that level of power with a summon wouldn’t be a simple enhancement, it would be an exponential boost beyond anything a normal summoner could achieve.
So he mentally commanded the system to deduct the experience points required for their level ups.
[9,000 Experience Points deducted]
[Bond skill has leveled up to Level 3]
[15,000 Experience Points deducted]
[Borrow skill has leveled up to Level 4]
[Remaining Experience Points: 70,500]
A new skill description appeared before him:
[Bond Lv.3 → Shares emotional states between the summoner and the summon. When active, both parties can feel what the other is experiencing emotionally in real time]
Ethan stared at that for a second, not entirely impressed but understanding that everything had its use.
[Borrow Lv.4 → Allows borrowing of more than one skill or weapon from summons at the same time]
[Bond and Borrow skills have reached maximum level available for current Summoner progression]
[Bond and Borrow skills cannot be leveled up further until Summoner Level reaches 20]
"Hm..." Ethan muttered.
Then another system message appeared:
[Conditions to attain the Fusion skill have been fulfilled.]
[New Summoner Skill acquired: Fusion]
[Fusion Lv.1 → This skill combines summoner and summon into a single entity, creating a much stronger variant]
[Upon usage, all memories from the summon’s past life prior to death will flood into the user’s mind]
Ethan’s eyebrows raised at that last part. That could be... intense depending on which summon he fused with.
[Fusion can only occur with one summon at a single time]
[Fusion skill progression: Level 1 (Current) → Level Max (Unlocks at Summoner Level 30)]
Another screen then popped up with bold red text:
[Warning!]
[Your fusion with any summon at this time will result in an incomplete fusion]
[Incomplete Fusion Effects:
• Maximum duration limit varies per summon
• At early stages of fusion, the user’s body will undergo severe physical strain
• Upon fusion end: Extreme fatigue is induced, and the body must fully heal before attempting fusion again]
"Tch... what now?" Ethan seemed annoyed by the limitation being placed on it.
[Fusion is a rare state few summoners ever achieve with their summons. Although the system grants this skill early, perfection cannot be attained on the first attempt]
Ethan sighed but sort of understood.
"Well, it seems getting my Summoner level up is still top priority for experience points," he whispered to himself while staring at the status screens again.
For the classes, he still hadn’t progressed very far with the majority of them, and there wasn’t a Tier 8 spell simply lying around that would prompt him to raise his Caster level past the SS talent threshold anytime soon.
"In any case, I do need more experience points," he said again before mentally waving off the screens for now.
Then he turned and left the basement, heading back upstairs.

Soon as he entered his room, he saw Isabella seated up in bed, with most of the bed sheets wrapped around her while she watched something on her Arcphone so intently that she didn’t notice him at first.
The device had no volume on, but it was a video which she paused the moment she realized he haf entered.
"Just the person I was waiting for," she said with a sudden mischievous grin spreading across her face while slowly sliding out of the bed.
Ethan had a smile on his face but also wore a puzzled look as he watched his naked lover approach him. "Weren’t you just sleeping a few minutes ago?"
"I was..." Bella said, edging even closer now with a sort of sway in her movement that immediately told him exactly what kind of mood she was in.
"I know that look..." Ethan said, now grinning wider.
"I recently discovered a few things," Isabella began while stopping just a few feet away from him now. "Promise not to judge?"
Ethan chuckled and nodded encouragingly. "Go on."
"I wanted to do something different this time," Isabella continued, "so I got curious and went on the online space..."
As she spoke, her hand reached out toward the buckled button on his trousers, letting her fingers brush the fabric teasingly as she felt for his hardness.
"Oh ho, I like where this is going..." Ethan said with camusement in his voice while staring down at Isabella’s devious-looking eyes.
Bella then pulled her hand away momentarily and reached up behind her head, gathering her long hair and pulling it back into a knot. She tied it securely so that it wouldn’t get in the way of what she was about to do next.
Her movements were in a way practiced, like following an instructional material very carefully and wanting to replicate it properly.
"It’s my first time," she said while meeting his gaze directly with confidence mixed with just a hint of nervousness. "Tell me how it is after."
Then she lowered herself down into a squat position in front of him, her hands moving back toward his trousers to undo them completely this time.
Ethan’s breath hitched slightly as he looked down at her, his heart rate picking up considerably now that he fully understood what she intended to do.
"Bella..." he started to say something, but she cut him off by placing one finger against on her lips briefly.
"Shh," she whispered with that same mischievous grin still on her face.

Now, Fair Warning!!!!: next scene will contain 18+ content for the most part. It’s mostly to reward the cultured readers who may have waited some time for this.
There’ll be extra content towards the end of the Chapter involving the next morning when elizabeth wakes but thats all.
