My Ultimate OP System: Summoning All Dragons, Gods, Heroes & Villains

Chapter 146: The Angel In My Basement

Ethan stared at the summon profile hovering before his vision while she stared at him with a blank expression on her face.

[Name: Arael]

[Title: The Outcast, Unwanted, The Paintress]

[Race: Angel]

[Classification: Divinity]

[Summon Class: Legendary]

[Potential Rating: Beast]

[SKILLS:

-Living Canvas

-Change

-Pluming Tempest]

[Passive Skill: Supernatural Awareness]

[Ultimate Skill: Explosive Artistry]

[Special Weapon: Runic Chroma]

[Notable Limits:]

-Incomplete Manifestation: Due to being rejected by her people, Arael never reached her true potential.

[Summon Background: Born in an era long before the Age of Champions, Arael was cast away as a child for being different. She was later taken in and raised by a human artist, finding a brief semblance of peace. However, that life came to a tragic end when one of her own kind assassinated them both, cutting her story short alongside the man who had given her a home.]

"Hm..." Ethan muttered under his breath as his eyes moved line by line through the information.

This was his first summon possessing divinity classification, although he wasn’t sure how rare it was to find summons like that.

The profile mentioned she had a special weapon, which prompted Ethan to glance over her form again more carefully.

Her hands were empty. No blade, no staff, no artifact of any kind visible on her person.

"I don’t see a weapon on her," he said.

With a mental command directed at the system, he requested further clarification on the special weapon entry.

[Runic Chroma → These are embedded within Arael’s skin and serve as the foundation for most of her skills]

"Oh, the tattoos," Ethan said as understanding clicked into place. He looked at her again with renewed interest now that he knew what they were for.

With another mental nudge, he pulled up descriptions for each of her listed skills.

[Living Canvas → Arael’s tattoos separate from her body as controllable ink, allowing her to shape and mold them into any desired form]

[Change → Her glowing wings allow Arael to infuse her constructs with any of these magic elements: Flames, Water, Earth, Wind, Ice, and Light]

[Pluming Tempest → Arael can release individual feathers from her wings as high-speed projectiles that pierce through targets with devastating force]

’These all look really good...’ Ethan thought as he continued reading through each ability description with growing appreciation for what this summon could potentially do.

Then his eyes drifted back up toward the notable limit section again, lingering on those words: Incomplete Manifestation.

’But are you suggesting, that this could be even better if she somehow reaches this true potential of hers?’

[Correct. Unlike other summons whose skills simply grow stronger stronger as they level up, Arael’s abilities undergo fundamental transformation, unlocking entirely new methods of application]

’Interesting,’ Ethan thought, with a smirk at the corner of his lips.

He turned his attention back toward the summon standing before him when he noticed she had begun moving.

Arael started pacing slowly around the basement, trailing one hand lightly along the walls as though reading something written there only she could see.

She passed by racks of swords hanging along one wall and ran her fingers through their hilts without grabbing any of them.

Her blue eyes seemed to glow now as they swept across every corner of the space.

Ethan did nothing to stop her, choosing to simply watch.

After several moments of this quiet inspection, Arael spoke in a firm yet distinctly feminine voice."Hm... the world has truly changed."

She wasn’t looking at Ethan when she said it. Rather, she seemed to be speaking to herself or perhaps acknowledging something far beyond what was visible in this basement.

Because right then, through their active bond skill connection, Ethan felt something strange happening inside Arael’s mind.

It started small at first: an awareness forming around the immediate structure of the manor itself. The number of rooms upstairs and how many people were currently inside.

But then it expanded.

Her thoughts moved outward at such an accelerated pace that even trying to follow them gave Ethan a slight headache.

The awareness spread beyond just the manor walls and extended across the entire compound. The gates, positioning of summons stationed outside, and then it kept going further still into Grayfort City itself.

Ethan couldn’t fully grasp or put into words what he was sensing through their bond link, but it felt as though somehow she had learned everything about the city’s layout in mere seconds.

Major streets and alleyways, population density by district, significant landmarks, even vague impressions of ongoing activities scattered throughout different areas.

It was overwhelming just experiencing fragments of it secondhand through their connection.

’Fascinating...’ Ethan whispered as realization dawned on him.

This was her Supernatural Awareness passive skill at work. Instead of learning gradually like his other summons, she absorbed everything about this new world’s structure, all at once.

Arael turned toward Ethan then.

"As the one who brought me back to this world," she began formally while inclining her head slightly in respect, "I thank you truly."

She continued speaking: "I will carry out your every command for as long as they come."

A pause followed those words before she added, "But I have one request..."

Her tone changed a bit, but didn’t feel demanding or entitled.

Ethan tilted his head curiously and gestured for her to continue. "Go on..."

Arael then continued, "I think the wheel of fortune has given me this opportunity, and I intend to take it fully."

Another brief pause followed before she stated , "So please... my summoner...when the time is right, I will ask you to relieve me of my duties temporarily so that I will take my revenge upon those who have done me an unforgivable wrong"

There was this determination in her eyes as she spoke.

Ethan stared at her quietly for a moment and somehow he understood. So he nodded while saying, "Very well."

She inclined her head respectfully once more. "Thank you."

A short silence passed between them after that exchange before Ethan raised one hand dismissively to undo the summoning spell.

The purple light faded away asArael dissolved back into motes of energy.

’What a summon,’ Ethan said to himself.

before mentally commanding his status window to show up before him.

Then he thought back to the fusion between bierzim and dante and asked the system, ’how can I attain that?"

[Fusion Skill is unlocked upon reaching Level 3 in Bond and Level 4 in Borrow]

Ethan nodded. He needed to upgrade both skills one more level each before he could unlock fusion.

Although it was at that moment that he began to wonder what a fusion with his most frequently used summons would be like.

"Fuck no," he muttered, shaking his head as he tried to push the image forming in his mind away.

[When fusing with summons, the summoner’s physical features remain predominant. In your case, you do not need to worry about developing feminine characteristics.]

’Much better,’ Ethan whispered to himself while exhaling in relief.
