Master of Minds, Master of Me

Chapter 109. Felix: My Pretty Flower

So much has happened these past six months. My father is back to working full-time. So no more sleepless nights at my desk. My workload feels ridiculously low nowadays, and I’m not complaining. Now that my mana is more stable, I don’t have to train like a maniac every day either. My mana still acts up now and then. But luckily, my pretty flower is more than willing to calm me down when that happens.

Who would have thought that all it took to control my mana was just letting it go and fuck her senseless?

We finally got married. So she is living at the Palace now. And I really can’t get enough of her. We are leaving on a vacation soon. I know I said the Royals don’t have vacations. But I gave my father no choice. It’s not like he can do anything about it. I’m the only heir after all. So we are going to travel abroad. We don’t have specific plans; we just go where we feel like going. Thanks to my illusion magic, we can easily go anywhere without people recognizing us.

I have also tried to stop pleasing my father all the time and just focus on being me. Even if that doesn’t fit the mold he wants me to fit.

Oh, and Theodore and Jane got married just last week. So we are all living our best lives.

I finish the paperwork and lift my gaze to look at my pretty flower playing the piano. I dragged a desk into the piano room. I still have my own office, of course, but I prefer to work here if possible.

Lo is playing again that one song I have never heard anywhere else. I get up and walk next to the piano. She finishes the song and looks up at me.

“Are you done with work?”

Her brown button eyes still melt my heart every single time.

“Yes. And I have been meaning to ask about that song you play. I haven’t heard anyone else play it. Is it something your grandmother composed?”

Her cheeks flush, and she looks down at her lap, fidgeting with her fingers. Like she always does when embarrassed.

“No…”

Goddammit, I can’t handle how cute she is while acting all shy. But now I’m even more curious about it.

“So what is it?”

“Just a song.”

I lean closer, lifting her chin up, forcing her to face me.

“I think you already know that you can’t escape answering. Tell me about the song.”

“It’s something I composed,” she admits.

And her words really surprise me.

“You have? The song is amazing. Why would you be hesitant to tell me that you created it?”

“Because the song is about you. I was sixteen when I composed it. I imagined that we would dance to that song at our wedding.”

I just stare at her with wide eyes. I really still can’t believe how obsessed she was. She really is one little freak. My cute little freak. I lean in to kiss her.

“After hearing that, I kind of regret that we are already married, so we can’t do that anymore. You should have told me that before.”

“It’s just too embarrassing, I didn’t want to.”

“There is nothing to—”

Knock knock.

We both look at the door.

“Your Highness and Lady Lorelia. Lady Jane has come to visit.”

Jane? Why is she here? I thought they would still be in their cabin after the wedding.

“Come in.”

The door opens, and Jane walks in with a smile.

“Hi guys! Sorry to bother you, but I need to talk to Lorelia.”

Lo looks a little surprised. “Sure, what is it?”

Jane places a book on top of the piano.

“It’s about this.”

I try to suppress my smile. I’m so fucking busted.

“What is it?” Lo asks, confused.

“What do you mean what is it? It’s the book you wrote based on Theodore and me.”

My pretty flower’s mind plummets into panic.

“Wh–where did you get it?” Her voice is all shaky.

“What? You gave it to us as a wedding gift?”

Jane looks confused as well. I didn’t tell Lo that I kind of stole her little novel. She slowly turns to look at me, clearly realizing who the culprit here is.

“Felix.” Her voice drops low. “That book was supposed to be a secret! How could you steal it and give it as a gift! Don’t you understand that it’s now obvious what we did back then!”

“But it was such a good book! I just thought it deserved some credit. And it was just a perfect gift.”

Lo turns to face Jane.

“I’m so sorry, Jane. I didn’t mean—”

“Oh, don’t worry about it,” Jane interrupts. “I agree with Felix. It is a great book, and I enjoyed reading it very much. I practically devoured it in a few days. You really are a talented writer. There is just one thing I want you to fix.”

“Fix? What is it?”

“I do understand that you have to use your own imagination in some parts, since you don’t know everything that has happened. But the beginning is just too wrong.”

“What?”

“In the book, you make it sound like Theodore was slowly helping me here in the Palace. You know, with the maids and annoying guards.”

As she speaks, I spot black mist hovering underneath the door. I guess she is having a little runaway trip. The mist slowly forms behind her, and Theodore is standing there as she keeps talking.

“And I just came to correct that. Since it’s so far off. Theodore was worse than the maids. I honestly thought he was an assassin sent to kill me. He kept scaring me and tormenting me, it was the opposite of helping and…” She falls silent for a while.

“He is standing behind me, isn’t he?”

We both just nod, and she slowly turns around.

“Hey… Theo… I just thought I’d drop by and thank them for the gift.”

“You thought you could escape me?”

Theodore keeps staring at her, and she starts backing away, gliding around the piano.

“So, Lorelia, as I was just saying, I need you to fix the beginning. Since he really wasn’t there to help me. He even wrote on the floor that ‘only I’m allowed to hurt you’. He was a total freak!”

Theodore takes a step closer to Jane, and she backs away, still circling the piano.

“So will you fix it?”

Lo looks rather confused about the situation, but ends up nodding.

“No need to fix it. I will burn it,” Theodore adds.

“You can’t burn it,” Jane says with a proud face and turns to look at us. “I cast a protection spell on it, so even he can’t destroy it.”

Then suddenly she stops moving.

“Theodore, you asshole! You can’t keep paralyzing me like it’s some sick sport!”

Theodore lifts Jane onto his shoulders and walks toward the door, but turns to face us.

“Felix.”

“Yes?” I say, playing innocent.

“Friendship is over.”

What a cute cranky mage.

“It’s not over, we even have matching friendship bracelets!”

Theodore made the same bracelet he gave me for himself, since he still has a bad habit of spreading his fire mana sometimes.

“They are not friendship bracelets, and you know it.”

“Sure they are! It’s carved inside. Felix and Theodore BFF.”

I’m not kidding. With Jane’s help, I did just that a couple of months ago. He just hasn’t noticed yet.

“You better be joking.”

I try to contain my laughter, and I clearly notice Lo and Jane almost bursting into laughter too. Judging from his face, he realizes that Jane is one of the culprits.

“Lady Mist?”

“Yes, Master Mist?”

Theodore turns and keeps walking toward the door.

“I think it’s time for the dungeon.”

The door closes, and I look at my pretty flower, who is glaring at me. She grabs the book and hits me with it.

“Woah, woah! No need to get violent.”

“You jerk! How could you steal my text! And give it to them of all people! This is so embarrassing!”

“But Jane said she liked it! No harm done, right?”

“But Master Loneflare is probably going to murder us!”

“He won’t. Jane would never let him do that.”

“That’s not even slightly reassuring.”

I grab her for a hug.

“I promise I will protect you with my body if needed.”

“You do realize you are just a minor paper wall if it comes to that.”

I act all shocked and hurt. “Ouch! A paper wall? Not even a rock wall or something? My pretty flower surely is a mean one.”

“I think you are the mean one here. Jerk.”

“So you are really mad at me?”

“Yes, I’m mad at you! I’m fuming! You really understand no boundaries!”

I narrow my eyes at her for a while.

“You’re so hot acting all angry like that. I’m so turned on right now.”

“Felix! I’m serious!”

I can’t miss the smile creeping into the corner of her lips, the one she tries to hide.

“Okay, okay. But I have only one question.”

“What?” Her voice is still pretty stern and angry.

“Do you have space for an extra tongue in your mouth? Mine is starting to get pretty lonely.”

“Oh God, you are hopeless! I thought you were taking my anger seriously.”

“How could I, when you fail to hide your beautiful smile, and I can almost smell your arousal already.”

“I’m not wet! I admit the smile, but nothing else.”

“Well, you'd better save your lust, since we have our date night today, remember?”

Her cheeks flush. “Of course I do.”

“So let’s go have dinner before heading out.”

“Really? But what if I eat too much and look puffy?”

“Even if you suddenly turned into a ball, it wouldn’t matter. I’m going to alter our appearance anyway. And trust me, you need the energy to handle what’s coming.”

She averts her gaze, acting all shy.

“Okay… But you better not make me look puffy.”

I chuckle while walking toward the door.

“I promise. No puffiness. Now, show me your hand.”

She looks confused but obeys.

“You see those spaces between your fingers?”

“Yes?”

I slide my fingers between hers. “Those are for mine.”

She just rolls her eyes cutely and we head to dinner. After getting our stomachs full, we take a quick shower and head outside the Palace.

My pretty flower’s exhibitionist kink really has blossomed. Pun intended. So the Underground has become a pretty regular place for us to visit. And she has seen those more…unusual shows as well. Where people go onto that stage to enjoy themselves, letting everyone watch.

And to my surprise, she enjoys watching too. I myself have pretty neutral opinions about it. It doesn’t do much for me. But I do love watching her squirm on that bench while imagining all the things happening on the stage happening to her. So I have lost count of how many times I have made her come in those booths.

We explored her kink and her limits slowly. First, only doing everything under the table. Then slowly starting to caress her upper body, then peeling her dress from the top. She has loved all of it. And so have I. I love showing everyone how lustful little slut she is because of me.

We put on our masks and enter the Underground. We go to that same bar, but this time we don’t go sit in the audience. We hide in the back and watch the stage. There is a white piano in the middle of it. I can sense all the nervousness in her mind.

“Feeling nervous?”

She lifts her gaze to me.

“Of course I am! What if I mess up? Press the wrong key or forget how the song goes?”

“That’s the part that you are worried about?”

“Yes! What else would be worth being nervous about?”

I can’t help but chuckle. “I could think of something else too.”

“But that’s on you, so there is nothing for me to stress about. I trust you.”

Soon, she walks onto the stage and settles down. Her delicate fingers land on the keys, and soon her elegant music fills the air.

I stare at her, mesmerized by her once again. It’s still hard to believe that she really is mine. She is somehow the most stunning and purest angel I have ever met. But at the same time, she is the most lustful dirty flower there is. And I love her so much that I still think that someday my heart might burst out of my chest from love.

I take my shirt off, walk onto the stage, and go stand behind her. She keeps playing as I start to slide the leather collar around her neck. She halts, and the music stops. I lean to whisper in her ear.

“Keep playing, don’t let me bother you.”

I hear her gulp, and slowly she returns to playing her song. I already see how she is clenching her thighs together. When the collar is tightly on, I lean to kiss her neck. She presses the wrong key when she is startled by my presence. But she keeps playing. I let my hands roam over her body for a while. I feel her muscles tensing under my touch.

I bite her neck, and she gasps; the music once again breaks a little before she continues.

“I need you to open your legs for me.”

She does, just like she should.

I whisper in her ear.

“Such an obedient pretty flower.”
