Chapter 167: Too Old?
"Something important? What is it?" Neil asked, his palms resting over her waist.
"Very soon I will be going to a secret realm, the lost elven kingdom." Cynthia answered, her expressions were serious as she spoke.
"Oh! The lost elven kingdom?!" Neil exclaimed, of course he had heard of that place.
Isn’t that exactly where Ileana is from? The place he wanted to find?
Cynthia wasn’t surprised that he had heard of it, as the lost elven kingdom is a well-known realm.
And that incident that shook everyone, where hundreds of thousands of elves were killed, it was still ingrained in their memories.
Though almost everything related to the lost elven kingdom has disappeared with it.
Only a little information could be found.
"Yes, I will be going there very soon, most probably after that event organized by the Warden Mantis." She spoke before adding:
"I can bring along a couple of people, so would you like to come with me? That place must be very dangerous but the rewards will surely be satisfying."
"..." Neil thought for a few moments, then asked: "Can I bring someone along with me?"
"Yes, you can, who is it?" Cynthia asked curiously, that werewolf prince had given her some extra slots so it should be fine.
"Uh... It is someone from my domain, I will let the two of you meet later." Neil said, unsure how she will react after hearing about Ileana.
Even Ileana was upset upon learning about Cynthia though thankfully she still supported him in the end.
’Or maybe it is better to just tell now and get it over with?’ Neil wondered, after all even if Cynthia attacks him here he will be fine.
"COUGH actually, the one I want to bring along is Ileana, she is the healer in my domain and... I love her."
While Cynthia was deep in thought, Neil suddenly dropped the bomb, baffling her.
"Huh? What? Lover?" she questioned in bewilderment, she thought she was the only one in his life.
Neil had before mentioned the subjects in his domain but he had remained quite vague when it came to Ileana.
So that is why.
Her head became empty for a few seconds, if Ileana is his lover and they even stay together all the time, then what is she?
Does he just pretend to like her for the benefits?
Cynthia suddenly had all sorts of thoughts in her mind, but Neil made her thoughts pause as he suddenly captured her lips in a passionate kiss.

Neil pulled back, and looking straight in her eyes, he spoke: "I love you too, I have already informed Eli about you."
"Eli? You even call her that?" A strong sense of jealousy rose in Cynthia’s heart, and he only calls her teacher.
She is teacher but now also his lover, so shouldn’t there also be something sweet between just the two of them as well?
"B- But you are my teacher and uh... older than me?" Neil said, he didn’t know what other excuse he could make all of a sudden.
"She is younger than you?" Cynthia asked, her eyes narrowing.
The two were standing so close, that Neil felt she was peering directly into his soul, he should have created some distance early on.
"...No." Although she has become a subject in his domain, but her real age must be even higher than Cynthia.
"Oh so you think I am too old for you? Is that why you gave her a lovely pet name and not me? Did you just act to love me?" Cynthia asked, raising one complaint after another.
"..." Neil gulped, why was she blowing this up into such a big matter?
She has completely gone off to the wrong path, that wasn’t even the main issue here.
But well if she was so worried about the title, then he can give her one.
Neil had gained some level of understanding towards women while staying with the two lovely ladies, so he knew how to calm her down.
His right hand slid down as he suddenly squeezed her soft ass cheek, making Cynthia release a surprised sound then he spoke: "How about I just call you my Wifey?"
"Ah!" this time, Cynthia the snake queen, the proud and powerful lord was flustered.
Well that didn’t sound bad, she repeated that word in her mind a few times.
It has such a nice ring to it, and clearing her throat she acted unimpressed and spoke: "That is not bad, you can keep calling me that... can you say it again, I didn’t hear it earlier."
"As you wish, wifey." Neil whispered, leaning closer and planting a kiss on her neck.
"You feel I am too old for you?" she asked, this had bothered her a few times and hearing that old word from Neil made her even more upset.
"Of course not, that’s the perfect age, in fact I like mature women like you and Ileana." Neil spoke, Cynthia felt like an angry kid right now, really very cute.
After answering, right as Cynthia was about to continue asking, he bit the smooth milky skin of her neck, sucking on it lightly.
She let out a soft moan, forgetting about all her earlier worries.
But still, it came as a shock that there is another woman in his life, Cynthia’s mind was a little jumbled for a while.
Will it really be okay?
She wasn’t really sure, but she also didn’t want to separate from Neil, she had just fallen in love.
If going by the normal rules, she came into his life after Ileana, so she was the second one.
She sighed and decided to think about it all later on.
"It is time HUFF for training Mhmm~" Cynthia spoke as his lips separated from her neck, leaving behind a bite mark.
"Yeah..." Neil didn’t continue about that matter, taking a step back he remembered something:
"By any chance, do you possess any treasure that can prolong anyone’s life? You know, like life energy."
Cynthia pondered for a moment and then replied:
"We did have one but I had to use it against a very powerful creature, it fed on life energy and killing it was nearly impossible-"
She paused and asked, with worry in her eyes: "Do you need it for yourself? Are you alright?"
Cynthia let her senses scan him and her eyes widened, he wasn’t alright at all, how did he get like that all of a sudden?
Just in their earlier training sessions, he seemed perfectly fine.
"Yes, I do need it for myself, it is because of a skill but I have been using it for several months and yet, only now did it act up." Neil said doubtfully, not hiding it.
"Then there must be some external stimulus, in any case, we need a powerful treasure for this.
Tsk I don’t have any right now, but I think there might be a weak treasure that can be of help, temporarily."
Cynthia added, they can try to trade such treasure from others, steal it and if nothing else works, then she can ask her family for one such treasure.
She was sure they must have some.
But she would have to pay the cost with her freedom, she wouldn’t mind doing that for Neil, but she also wanted to stay with him.
"Hmm I guess we will have to find some other way." He said, sighing.
"Didn’t the humans have one? The future fruit or something, how about we steal it?" Cynthia suggested.
Before entering the lost kingdom of elves, they would have to solve this problem.
Neil was a little surprised that she suggested that, not only was it illegal, dangerous but if she is found out, it might even start a war between two races.
"I wanted to find it too but I don’t have any information." Neil muttered.
"Haa for now, don’t use whatever skill that is, I will do my best to find any information we can and on the day of the event, when I arrive here, we will do the heist."
Cynthia spoke, she didn’t ask anything about his skill.
She knew Neil will tell her about it all on his own soon and Cynthia was ready to wait.
"I guess we can try, but if our preparations aren’t enough, we will have to give up. There might be some other treasure that can be of help." Neil added.
"Yeah, will you be fine with the training now? We can just take it easy you know, how about this you can try that mental manipulation and essence transformation." Cynthia suggested.
And Neil didn’t reject it, Cynthia guided him and he began.
But as he used the phantom essence transformation which directly triggered the Entropic Essence transformation, the speed shocked Cynthia.
She had seen it before and it was not even a quarter as fast as this.
What had her disciple/lover found outside again? He truly was so full of surprises.
The next few hours passed just like that, without the brutal fights.
Then Neil and Cynthia went to take a bath together, where she trained her disciple about other things.
After their training ended, Neil said goodbye to Cynthia in their usual manner and returned to his domain.
This training session was quite fruitful, he even got to obtain information about the lost elven kingdom.
Neil wanted to tell it to Ileana right away.
But right as he walked out of the building, a light flashed in his eyes and then his vision went dark.
