Chapter 166: The Strange Helper
"Who did you say is here?" Neil asked, just to confirm.
Did he spawn that guy just by finding his name? Since he didn’t directly charge inside, then he probably wasn’t here to fight.
Then did he come here to free those guys Neil had just killed or to find if Neil had gotten any real information.
Whatever might be the reason, he decided to go and check.
"Let’s go." He nodded towards Ileana with a gentle smile which disappeared the moment he started walking.
After getting out of the prison, carrying Magnar over his shoulder, Neil walked towards the main gates of the domain.
The walls had all been broken by that diamond class man earlier, so the domain seemed to be in a sorry state.
Outside the gates, only one person was standing, he was wearing a long black coat and a hat.
"You are... Randy?" Neil asked, stopping before the gate, not yet asking him to come inside.
"Indeed I am." The other guy replied with a small smile, showing his goodwill.
This guy is at the 5th Origin, so even if Neil knew he was behind the attack earlier, he could do nothing.
Instead he had to be careful, since this guy is capable of wiping them all out within a minute.
Neil is only at the 3rd Origin, he can still fight the people of 4th Origin which is already a great and unheard-of achievement.
But even for him, fighting 5th Origin will be near impossible.
"And why are you here?" Neil continued asking, there were no emotions in his voice.
Neither did he show any hospitality nor any hostility, as if he was talking to a complete stranger, though he was on guard.
"Aren’t you going to invite me inside for a proper chat?" Randy asked, he seemed to be in his thirties though his real age might be higher than that.
There were three long cut scars over his face, one on both cheeks and one on the forehead, as if someone had deliberately scarred him.
They weren’t inflicted during a battle.
"No, I don’t like strangers entering my house, what business do you have with me?" Neil repeated his question.
"Haha quite reckless, actually I knew your father, he was even more reckless.
Killing left and right, making all sorts of enemies yet no one had ever managed to do anything to him." Randy spoke, as if reminiscing about the past.
"What are you here for?" Neil repeated his question for the third time, he had never been interested in anything related to his parents.
Aside from a company called ’Xirus’ that his parents own, he knew nothing about them.
That is the same company whose symbol Neil had seen on the feet of Linda’s battle suit.
It is rather famous, so he got to know about it from his neighbours and friends, those people mean nothing to him.
"Alright alright, I will get to the point." Randy shook his head in exasperation, why was it so hard to converse with this guy?
"Haa those ten earlier, I was the one to send them." He directly confessed, surprising Neil and then confusion filled his mind.
"Hmm I wonder what you mean." Neil pretended.
He still couldn’t understand the motive of this guy.
"Don’t act, I know you interrogated those guys, did they not say my name?" Randy asked, as if he knew it all.
"They mentioned someone called Marco." Neil added, if he wanted to play, then two can play this game.
"Sigh let’s drop the pretense, aren’t I confessing? I am the one who sent them, so you can be honest as well." Randy took off his hat and placed it in his inventory then pushed his long hair back.
"...And why did you do it?" Neil questioned, he was ready to transform into his phantom form, entering the 3rd phase.
Only then would he even have a chance at blocking any attacks.
"Would you mind walking out with me? Since you don’t welcome strangers." Randy asked.
After a moment’s thought, Neil nodded, the two builders were already working to repair the walls.
"Good job, Bob, Rob." Neil said, before following Randy out of the domain.
The two walked for a minute in silence, finally Randy broke the silence:
"Actually, Marco is an enemy of your father, in fact there are hundreds of such people whom your father had offended. He had made so many people unable to progress past this planet, he was really such a menace back in the day."
After a brief glance at Neil, he continued: "Honestly, I don’t like that jerk either but I had made a promise to someone."
"A promise that I would help you out while you are still here, sigh if only I had considered this carefully before. Love makes people do strange things."
He laughed at himself.
"So, what exactly are you here for?" Neil asked again, there was still no change in his tone.
"Heh kid, can you see my rank?" he asked, instead of answering.
"Yes, you are at the 5th Origin, as for class, I am not sure." Neil said.
"Hmm not bad, I am at the diamond class and the warden of Settlement Number 3. I want you to join my settlement, participate from my side and I will do my best to protect you from the big threats." Randy spoke.
And his words surprised Neil again, diamond class? Then wasn’t he even stronger than Cynthia who was yet to reach the peak of her strength, well she was already at gold class.
In any case, there was no way Neil can just trust him, especially after his last stunt.
"Yea yea, I know you won’t trust me, and I do hope you don’t. I want to be free and not take all those problems to my lazy ass, but hmm if you do find yourself in a shitload of problems you can come find me, though you don’t really have to."
The way Randy was speaking made Neil frown, why was this guy so strange?
This only left him with more confusion, was this guy here to help him or for joking or some other hidden reason?
"Well then, I will be taking my leave now, don’t think it through, reject my offer and don’t ever come to find me."
Right after speaking those words, he just disappeared.
Neil was left standing there, speechless, this whole thing was too strange.
But he can’t deny that soon many enemies of his parents will start to target him, they must have already gotten the news that he is out.
With various thoughts in mind, he returned to the domain and saw that nearly half of the wall had already been repaired.
"Hubby, what’s wrong?" Ileana asked, seeing his complicated expression.
"That Randy guy is the one who had told those guys earlier to attack our domain..." Neil explained the whole thing to Ileana.
And even she couldn’t tell if Randy could be trusted or not, but that Marco guy might cause trouble soon.
Even that bird must have been sent by him.
"Anyway, I will go take a bath first, what a great way to start the day." Neil shook his head.
"I will help you." Ileana happily followed after him, the previous night was pretty wild, just thinking of it made her feel tingly.

After a long and nice bath, Neil ate food with the others, then he decided to go meet his teacher.
Now they were aware of each other’s identity, thankfully it didn’t break their relation.
’Nemo, send a message to teacher.’ Neil thought as he walked around in the field present in the kitchen with Ileana, Fay and Ray.
There were many crops, and the slimes were helping all around.
Just one mana regeneration potion was enough to extend their life, and now they can follow all the orders.
"Alright master, I delivered it." Nemo said and not even a minute had passed when a reply came.
"Your teacher said she will be there right away." Nemo said, happy that at least there were some good things too in her master’s life.
Otherwise it had been pretty miserable.
"Hmm" Neil nodded, and after a few minutes, he bid them goodbye and entered the main building.
Then he went into the core room and directly went to the Clash realm.
There he saw Cynthia walking towards him, she really looked so beautiful, her charms were like that of a succubus.
Both Ileana and Cynthia have their own charms, each of them extremely gorgeous.
It would be hard for Neil to put one above the other.
"Neil, how have you been?" she asked, pulling him into a tight hug.
Now that her feelings were out in the open, she didn’t need to pretend to him or herself, she liked him and cannot deny that.
They had been away just for some time and it felt like months.
"I am fine, how about you, teacher?" Neil asked, wrapping his arms around her soft waist.
The two then went on to share what had happened while they were away, Neil told her about Marco and Randy.
Asking what sort of people they are, especially that Randy.
He is the warden of Human Settlement Number 3, which is at the top, those numbers represent the ranks after all.
"I will get more information about them, I will be coming to meet you soon." Cynthia said, they would have met even sooner but the event had been shifted back.
She knew some things about Neil’s background and that he has a lot of enemies, that is why she wanted Neil to shift to her kingdom.
"Oh, right I also have something important to talk to you, I actually will be going on an exploration very soon."
