Chapter 150: The Delivery
Ziggy suddenly rose to his feet, knocking back his chair, an enraged yet fearful expression on his face.
"What’s the matter, Ziggy?" Warden Mantis asked, his eyes narrowing.
"Kek Did your wife run away with some servant or something?" the beastmen warden asked, a wide grin on his bull-like face.
"Shut up you bastard, i- it is my son. My dear son, Peg has been kidnapped by someone!!" he spoke in a loud voice then looked at Mantis.
This place was supposed to be safe, the humans were responsible for the safety of all the guests.
"Sir Mantis, what is the meaning of this?!" Ziggy asked, he tried to stay respectful but he was feeling extreme rage.
"Calm down, Ziggy. Wasn’t Peg staying in the room, I remember ordering everyone to not leave the settlement for now." Mantis said, as his frown deepened.
Such a thing happening with a guest, would give a really bad image to them, and might disrupt the upcoming event.
"Hah You expect a young guy to just stay put in his room? That is how every young guy is, they are adventurous. ’
Him going out is not the problem here, but how can-" Ziggy was getting louder and louder.
"Calm down, what message did you get?" the fishmen warden asked.
Ziggy’s body was shaking, although Peg was not talented but he was still the son he loved most among all of his 82 children.
"H- He sent this message to me..." Ziggy quickly displayed the virtual screen to everyone.
It was a short video clip, in which Peg was hit several times and then dragged away, he kept screaming and begging.
Mentioning his father’s name but it was all useless.
"SOB please s- spare me, I didn’t even do anything uwaaaah my father is Ziggy-" Peg cried, while getting dragged, his arms seemed to be broken.
"So what if that bastard comes here? I will just turn him into pork and eat a father-son meal.
You damned pigs, how dare you bring your grotesque faces here Ptui" the person even spat on Peg’s face.
Seeing this, Ziggy’s blood was boiling.
Near the end of the clip, right before Peg’s bracelet was taken away, a face appeared before them.
There was a smile on the face, and the human wardens recognized it instantly, while the others also remembered something.
"I- Isn’t this the guy in the clip where Neil almost killed him? What is his name?" the beastmen warden asked.
"He is Shen, I know he is a big troublemaker because of his family connections with the ECO but why would he target Peg?" Mantis spoke.
"Clearly, he was upset at getting beaten by Neil, but since he couldn’t do anything to him he was taking his anger out on others." Another warden added.
Soon, all of them were angry towards Shen. After all, instead of Peg it could have been any of their children.
And Mantis had to act quickly to resolve it before the problem became too big.
"Don’t worry, if Shen really is the one who kidnapped your son.
Then I will personally bring him back and punish Shen." Mantis rose to his feet, speaking calmly.
"We will go with you too, I want to hit him at least once with my own hands."
Ziggy shouted, and so all the wardens decided to pay Shen a visit.

On the other hand, Shen was also extremely angry, he had become a public joke.
The clip had travelled all over the place.
"That bastard, he used some dirty trick to defeat me!! I am going to cut him apart the next time."
Shen swore, he even decided to get help from ECO to deal with him, he would just need to make up a couple of stories.
But he still knew how powerful that attack of Neil was, he felt so helpless.
To the point he couldn’t even activate his field or abilities, his body was almost destroyed.
He lay on the bed, new skin had already grown over his body, and he was almost back to his peak.
Though his mind was far from healed, even to use his ability properly, he would need a few more days.
KNOCK KNOCK
There was a sudden knock on his door, which startled Shen.
After all he wasn’t staying at his home right now and had hidden somewhere, afraid that Neil might send someone to kill him.
He had done a background check on Neil and was terrified after finding who his parents were.
But after doing more digging he was also relieved, it seemed his parents had abandoned him, otherwise why wouldn’t they come once to meet him all this time?
They didn’t even come after so much happened, kidnapping, being trapped in that hell and now the fight with him.
Yet they never appeared.
Still Shen wanted to be careful and so he hid here.
’N- No one should be aware of this except my parents, hmm did they come here to check on me?’
Shen wondered as he silently approached the door.
Then he peeked out and saw an unfamiliar guy standing there.
"Who are you?" he asked, ready to flee.
"Sir, I am here to deliver something to you." The guy spoke from outside, he was wearing the uniform of a famous delivery service.
"Huh? What delivery? I didn’t order anything, did you make a mistake?"
Shen asked, wondering if it really was Neil in disguise.
"No sir, it was your mother who ordered it and asked me to quickly deliver this to you." The other guy answered.
"A- Alright, just leave it there and go." Shen said, being extremely cautious.
"Okay sir, have a great day." The guy said, then turned and left.
"Hmm Was it really mother?" Shen wondered, then he called his mother and asked.
Thankfully, his mother confirmed she had sent some food for him.
’Haa I was getting worked up for nothing...’ he wiped the sweat from his forehead, but what could he even do?
That sight, the cloud of darkness and those two glowing eyes, he could never remove them from his memory.
It was such a dreadful sight that Shen kept waking up from sleep because of nightmares.
After calming down, he opened the door a little and pulled the delivery package inside.
Then he opened it quickly and inhaled the wonderful scent, it was still hot and fresh.
Shen quickly set it all over the table and got ready to eat.
"Whoa thank you mother, this pork looks so delicious!!" Shen’s mouth was filled with water.
But wasn’t this a bit too big? But who cares, he was very hungry so he would eat it all.
He decided to thank his mother after finishing it, she really took care of him so well.
MUNCH MUNCH
Without wasting a second, Shen began to devour the pork, he loved every bite of it.
Within a few minutes he had finished more than half of it, but his hunger was still persistent.
The taste was so good, he gritted his teeth and shoved most of the remaining pork down his throat.
But still some was left, which Shen decided to store and eat later.
"Thank you mother, the pork was really delicious and hot, you are the best mother!!"
Shen sent the message to his mother in video form.
His mouth was still stained from the grease.
After a moment, a reply came: "What pork? I didn’t send it."
Shen: "..."
He stared in confusion at the message, was his mother joking with him?
Clearly it was her who sent the delicious pork, no one else even knew this location.
"What are you saying mom, didn’t you just say that you are the one who sent this?" Shen quickly sent another message, laughing at his mother’s playfulness.
"I am not joking, since you are sick I sent you some soup and other light dishes, I didn’t send any pork." She replied in a serious voice.
Shen quickly called his mother, confusion filling his face.
"Really, I didn’t send any pork. Maybe you got the wrong delivery." She shrugged.
"Hmm that must be it then, but haa it was really so delicious." After some idle talk he cut off the call.
Maybe his luck had finally gotten better, instead of soup he got the better dishes.
He went back to his bed to rest, his belly was bulging after eating too much.

Neil was observing everything through the drones. He smiled upon seeing Shen take the food inside.
He had planned it all and succeeded thanks to Nemo who was able to find Shen, and the delivery that was about to arrive.
Then he changed it up, replacing it with pork.
And now everything was going to be so fun, only after finding Shen did he send the message to Ziggy.
This plan was a little risky but in anger, he doubted the other party would be rational.
Neil had already moved far away, he had to come here personally to change the dishes after all.
But he didn’t yet return to his domain, instead just waited far away.
And soon, several figures flew through the air and approached Shen’s house.
If Neil could find it, of course those wardens could find Shen too, and before long several powerful figures landed over his doorstep.
’Heh the fun begins.’ Neil thought, his smile widening.
That bastard attacked him for no reason and wanted to steal his stuff, there was no way he was going to let a future threat survive.
Neil sat comfortably over the ceiling of a distant building and enjoyed the show.
Back inside the house, Shen who was about to drift to sleep was woken up by a loud knocking sound.
