Chapter 1028: Very Quick Death
"Mm." Lilith nodded, and without wasting a single second, she went ahead and created a portal leading back to the Demon Realm.
He was a little puzzled why she chose the Demon Realm of all places, but even then, he followed her through, arriving atop some kind of mountain range in the middle of the Demon Realm.
It was a familiar mountain range, for some reason. He closed his eyes for a moment, then recalled. The Eternal Dream, whose memories he had absorbed, had actually disappeared around this area.
Rael didn’t think much of it at first, until he glanced down and realized there was some kind of tower hidden inside the mountain. It was one of those High Towers Rael had visited.
It was just that this one seemed to contain an insane amount of people, to the point he was a bit startled.
All of them seemed to be demons too.
Hmm... I guess if the Demon Realm ever needs reinforcements, I can just break this High Tower and let everyone out. In that regard though, why’d she bring me here? Rael wondered, glancing over at Lilith.
"This place is actually where I first ran away and hid. Doesn’t seem very smart to hide on a mountain though, does it?"
Rael shook his head. "Not at all. It’s probably the stupidest thing I’ve seen. But it’s fine. You were still little at the time."
"True." Lilith chuckled. "But I guess this is the last thing I wanted to show you. I don’t have anything else, I guess."
With that, she lowered her head, feeling a little nostalgic. As for Rael, he just shrugged, letting her reminisce for a few moments, before saying:
"You keep increasing the amount of kids you want to have. Which is it now?"
Lilith thought about it for a moment, then replied: "Not sure. Definitely double digits though, so be prepared to be sucked dry. I do have some succubus genes in me, so I guess you could say so long as you have the will, I have the womb to make it happen."
What a bold thing to say.
Regardless, Rael was up to it, so he nodded at her and decided to finally move on.

(One month later...)
A month had passed since Rael had reunited both Lilith and William together with Eve.
Zafira’s pregnancy had also progressed a fair deal, and now, it was only a matter of weeks before she gave birth.
If Rael had to guess, the reason it was so much faster was because she had spent some time in a realm with frozen time. It would’ve been ridiculous if she had given birth in there, but amongst many other things, it would be crazy to miss the birth of his own children.
Anyhow, Rael was currently butt naked near a very large star. He was just that bored at the moment, since not only had Megatron not reached out to him in over a month, but the countless realms were also fairly peaceful.
But right as he thought that this boring life of his would continue, he got an unexpected message. Not in his mind, but literally.
<Megatron: My liege, I have scoured the entire Dream Realm. Transmitting the known locations now...>
Before Rael could even reply, a flood of information entered his mind. It was akin to absorbing billions of years of knowledge, since from the looks of things, the Dream Realm was just that massive.
Not to mention, it had many areas that Rael wondered if even he could enter. It wasn’t that they were dangerous. Rather, they had so many loopholes and traps that he would much rather leave than go there.
But from the looks of things, Megatron’s final assessment was that Durian was somewhere in that rough area. Rael could deal with this like a calm gentleman by going there and talking it out.
However, he much rather preferred just wiping that whole area off the map entirely. It was much easier, it saved a lot of time, and by doing so, he wouldn’t miss the birth of his children.
Yeah... I should definitely just roll with it, Rael thought, and then replied to Megatron.
<Rael Sutekh: Weasel your way out of that part then. I’m about to wipe it out.>
<Megatron: Don’t do that, my liege... If you wipe out a part of the Dream Realm, it’ll expand to fill the gap. It might increase the size of the Dream Realm by several times, and add several more areas like that.>
"Ah."
<Rael Sutekh: So a cockblock, then. Interesting. Is there anything I can do then?>
A few seconds later, he got a reply.
<Megatron: Send me in there. I only messaged you to inform you in case things go south. I believe I’m plenty powerful enough to deal with whatever’s there, so trust me, my liege.>
With that, Rael just stared at the messages, not sure what to say. Sure, he could just agree, but if Megatron died, that’d be a bit of a turn-off, since it would mean Rael would need to go in there personally.
Hmm.
Well, whatever.
Since Megatron was being so cooperative, he might as well indulge his nonsense.
<Rael Sutekh: Alright. You have my permission. Just make sure that whatever you do, you do it carefully. If you get stuck, figure it out. I’m not going to help you. Is that understood?>
<Megatron: Yes. I understand. I’ll be back in a few hours. I will succeed, so do not worry, my liege.>
And with that, the connection was once again cut off. Rael was a bit puzzled by how much Megatron had changed. He gave off the impression of some bratty young master, yet here he was, being all obedient.
Welp.
So long as he got the job done, Rael didn’t care how he acted.
Therefore, he closed his eyes and waited for the good news a couple of hours later.
