Cale emerged from the residence with a shine radiating from his entire being, a grin stretching ear to ear. Elon’s eyes narrowed immediately—he’d sensed it. That cold woman wouldn’t acknowledge most people, let alone have a private conversation lasting over an hour.
"What were you two talking about?" Elon asked, his voice carrying barely concealed suspicion.
Cale smiled smoothly. "Nothing much. Just got to know that we had some acquaintances here and there."
Elon stared harder, clearly unconvinced.
Then his eyes widened as they caught sight of the hickeys scattered across Cale’s neck—visible proof of what had transpired behind closed doors.

Inside his dorm room, Cale practiced basic sword draws, his movements becoming increasingly fluid with each repetition. His recent victories had earned him training time, which meant fewer interruptions from academy duties.
’The D-day is approaching. Might as well dedicate everything to training now.’
He was actually enjoying this—the constant progression, the tangible improvements. Then it happened.
The energy around him surged violently, entering his core and spinning like a tornado. His entire body convulsed involuntarily. He forced himself to remain calm, eventually settling into a seated position and closing his eyes.

Cale stared at the description for several long minutes, processing what he was reading.
"Sigh..." He rubbed his temples. "I don’t understand half this shit."
He took his time, reading it again and again till his puny brain started to understand the description.
"So... some strong dude made this technique, yep, that much I understand. Heavenly dao huh? is it like the one from novels, if yes, then I guess I scored some good shit. Next is... fire? violet fire? hmm, so if cultivated enough this fire can burn pretty much anything. That’s awesome!
A domain, like those from anime? where my own will can effect the battle?
But from what I remember...doesn’t one get a domain at Emperor stage? Well, not that I’m complaining, it is always better to get it and learn it before others.
So if I reach higher levels, my attacks in my domain cannot be healed? Even nullifying damage?
Its not like it will nullify it completely right now, but it should still nullify it a bit, even a 5-10% damage reduction will help me win!
And finally, immunity to tracking and divination, along with using others’ energy as my own, well, I do have some clue to that, its something like the essence I’m making but on a higher scale.
