Old Mu had nothing to say regarding his sophistry.

"No problem," Ye Zi’an waved his hand, "However, the coming days will be tough as Yangyang drags him to practice martial arts every day."
"That’s good, learning more skills is always beneficial." Old Mu laughed again.
"By the way, Uncle," Ye Zi’an pondered and asked, "Regarding Madam Tong’s situation, does Cousin have any thoughts?"
He considered that Madam Tong was related to the Tong Family, which was an ally of Baili Yan.

Then she thought it was getting late, and Old Mu would likely stay for lunch, so she instructed Ming Lan to inform the kitchen to prepare more dishes.
Soon Ming Lan returned with another message.
"Madam, someone at the front courtyard reports that Heir Tong is here, requesting to see our young master."
Yang Chuxia pondered for a moment and said, "In that case, go to the study and inform the young master to go out and meet him."

At the study, Ye Zi’an had just finished his conversation with Old Mu and stepped out.
"Young master, Heir Tong has arrived."
"Him?" Ye Zi’an thought for a moment and asked, "Where is he now?"
"In the front courtyard."
Ye Zi’an nodded and let Ming Lan leave.
"Uncle, he’s likely here because of Madam Tong."
"After all, he’s the son; there’s no way he wouldn’t inquire, otherwise he’d be criticized."
"But Uncle, his visit won’t help the situation," Ye Zi’an shook his head, "Isn’t he making things difficult? We notified them yesterday, and they didn’t come. What’s the use of coming today? She’s already been arrested by the authorities."
"You should go and see," Old Mu said, "Decline what you can’t agree to, the Tong Family abandoned her themselves, it’s not your fault."
