Chapter 477 - 439: The Grand Finale (Part 1)
Aurora Sinclair and Alvin Morgan’s ceremony was a traditional wedding.
The part where they paid respects to heaven and earth involved a genuine, full-on kowtow.
That part was manageable—they just had to kowtow three times toward the distant sea. But paying respects to the elders had the two of them kowtowing more than a dozen times.
They kowtowed to the elders of both families and then to the masters from Sunstone, especially the four Sunstone masters, who required individual bows.
When it was time to kowtow to Master Aerion, Beta Morgan struggled to hold back his laughter. Why? Because the two of them were actually kowtowing to Ditto Miles.
They had just finished the arduous kowtowing and were about to rise when Kael Miles’s voice suddenly echoed from off the island.
"Grand-disciple, is your Grandmaster late?"
Alvin Morgan: ...

After the wedding banquet, Thomas Sinclair had no intention of returning to the Sinclair Family estate. Instead, he wanted to remain in the International Penitentiary.
This made Master Sinclair feel quite upset.
"Dad, I’m still serving my sentence..." Unable to bear the stares from his family, Thomas Sinclair hastily passed the buck to his daughter.
Master Sinclair glanced at Aurora Sinclair and saw right through him.
"Your daughter is in charge of the prison. Why can’t she get you out on medical parole?"
Seeing his daughter remain silent and offer no help, Thomas Sinclair immediately turned to his new son-in-law.
A smile touched Alvin Morgan’s lips as he spoke. "Grandpa, my father-in-law’s situation is a bit special, so he can’t be released just yet. But please don’t worry. He’ll live with us in the future, and Aurora and I will take care of him..."
Since Alvin Morgan had spoken, Master Sinclair couldn’t very well refuse. In the end, he could only board the boat home with the rest of the Sinclairs.
But soon, the Sinclairs made plans to build a house on an empty plot of land on the Continent of Esteros.
The Continent of Esteros was different from other continents. There was no concept of nations here; all the land belonged to the Martial World.
As long as a family had a member from the Martial World, they could build a house anywhere on unclaimed land. However, one had to be careful. The Martial World respected strength above all else. Without a powerful protector, a family’s property could easily be seized by another clan.
"Your grandfather is quite the character. He went and claimed a huge plot of empty land on Esteros as an investment."
Alvin Morgan handed Aurora Sinclair a cup of brown sugar water and gave her a kiss.
Ever since they had consummated their marriage, Aurora Sinclair’s period—which hadn’t come for over a decade—suddenly arrived. This forced Alvin, a man new to the pleasures of the flesh, to suffer in silence.
Aurora Sinclair took the cup and asked, puzzled, "Why invest on Esteros?"
Everyone here is from the Martial World. They just focus on martial cultivation day in and day out, living very secluded lives.
The last time she came for the Guardian conference, she found that people here still lived a very backward, pastoral life, like something out of an old poem where men tilled the fields and women wove.
’The Sinclair Family has been in business for so many years. They couldn’t be so shortsighted as to invest here, could they?’
Alvin Morgan replaced her hot pack and smiled. "They mainly want to be closer to you and your father. I looked at the land they claimed. It’s only a few kilometers from the docks. From there to here is less than an hour."
Thinking of her father who was unwilling to leave the prison, Aurora Sinclair nodded slightly. "Let’s build a house for Dad there, too."
"Don’t worry, it’s already under construction. And as it happens, my mom wants to move over to help us with the kids."
His words made the tips of Aurora Sinclair’s ears turn red again.
She had been taking the medicine from Apothecary Warner for over two years. Leigh Miles had told her that if her period came, it meant she could get pregnant.
’I just wonder if my child will inherit the traits of a Super Soldier...’
Just as she was thinking this, a knock came from the door.
"Come in..."
"Warden, tomorrow is family visitation day at the prison. Should we run the boats?" A Basic Supervisor walked in, bracing himself against the intense pressure of Alvin Morgan’s gaze to make his report.
Because Aurora Sinclair had gotten married, Mr. Morgan had given special instructions not to disturb them with official business for a week. They were to make their own decisions unless it was a dire emergency, like a prisoner escaping from Sector S.
However, ever since the system upgrade, the authority to open the main prison gates had remained solely with Aurora Sinclair; it had never been delegated to them.
Not daring to disturb her, they had essentially given themselves a week off, only coming to bother her now that they’d dragged it out to the very last day.
Aurora Sinclair had Alvin Morgan grant them new permissions and explained the divisions in detail.
Previously, the International Penitentiary’s security system had many loopholes. Everyone’s clearance was too broad; even Martial Artists from the regular zone could enter the special zone, which was extremely dangerous.
So, Alvin Morgan had upgraded the entire prison system, resetting the permissions and dividing them granularly according to each person’s role and responsibilities. This also forced some people who had gotten their positions through connections to recognize their proper place.
Now, the regular and special zones were completely segregated. Anyone wanting to cross between zones had to submit an application, and they could only enter after Aurora Sinclair approved it.
The Basic Supervisor was delighted to hear this. It would certainly make their management duties easier.
Before, that group from the regular zone, relying on the fact that Morgan Linton was in charge, always liked to bring people over to wander around the special zone, which made things quite difficult for the supervisors.
Now that permissions were in place, they no longer had to constantly worry about Low Rank cultivators wandering into Zone A.
Afterward, Aurora Sinclair and Alvin Morgan introduced a series of new rules to reform the International Penitentiary, making the entire prison increasingly more structured and professional.
This, in turn, subtly influenced the International Martial Arts Bureau and the International Court of Justice.
Although Aurora Sinclair was not a Maker of the Martial World, her influence had already surpassed that of the Winslow Clan on the Holy Mountain.
This greatly displeased Flint Winslow’s faction, but they didn’t dare come to the International Penitentiary to cause trouble for Aurora Sinclair.
This was because their Martial God ancestor had given them a stern warning.
If anyone from the Winslow Clan dared to lay a finger on Aurora Sinclair, he would show them no mercy.
The two who had come to stir up trouble earlier were punished upon their return. They were sent to the ice caves on the mountain to reflect on their actions in solitude, and no one was allowed to visit them.
The Martial God ancestor also ordered them to investigate the whereabouts of the Harrow Clansmen, leaving them with no time to bother with Aurora Sinclair.
This allowed Aurora Sinclair to directly use her power to change some of the Martial World’s unwritten rules.
She demanded that all who became Martial Artists, regardless of who they were, must abide by the laws and regulations of the Mundane World.
This applied especially to High Rank Martial Cultivators. If they committed serious crimes such as assault, murder, or coercion, their punishment would be even more severe than that for an ordinary Martial Artist.
The International Court of Justice, which had previously been a mere figurehead in the Martial World, could now finally hold its head high.
Their biggest backer was Aurora Sinclair herself. If anyone dared to defy the court, they could expect a personal visit from her to apprehend the suspect.

Year after year, the seasons turned and the flowers bloomed.
Everything seemed to be falling into place.
Then, from a hospital built just a few years ago on the Continent of Esteros, came the cry of a newborn baby.
"Congratulations, Senior Brother-in-Law! Senior Sister gave birth to a girl..."
Leigh Miles shouted from inside the delivery room, her face beaming with joy as she held the swaddled baby.
Outside the delivery room, the anxious huddle of men froze. As one, they turned to look at a certain new father among them.
"Master, didn’t you say it would be a son?"
"HAHAHA... Pay up! I won!" Beta Morgan was ecstatic, holding out his hand to demand money from the other Morgan brothers.
Benjamin Morgan glanced at the perfectly calm Alvin Morgan and instantly understood. Their master had let Beta win on purpose. As for the reason...
’He’s the only single man left in the Morgan family. If he doesn’t win some money now, how will he ever afford to retire?’
"Mr. Beta, your bachelorhood has made you invincible!"
