Divorce, Please: The Young Master Does Not Love Me

Chapter 233: Figure

「The Airport VIP Lounge.」

Eleanor Bishop held her child, while Mika Summers, wearing a hat, leaned down to coo at the baby in Eleanor’s arms.

"Mika, why isn’t your brother here yet? Do you think something happened?" Eleanor Bishop was too anxious to sit still, her worried gaze fixed on the world outside.

"I doubt it. Didn’t my brother tell us to come ahead? He’ll be here, I’m sure of it."

"I’m still worried. Why don’t you give him a call and check?" They had already been waiting for nearly half an hour. He should have been here by now.

"Okay." Mika Summers nodded. She stood up, walked over to Una Sullivan, grabbed a nearby bag, and pulled out her phone to call Archie Summers.

The call went through, but after a long while with no answer, it disconnected automatically. She just stared at her phone, dazed.

Seeing Mika Summers’s expression, Una Sullivan asked uneasily, "What’s wrong? Did you get ahold of your brother?"

"It rang, but nobody answered."

Hearing Mika’s words, Eleanor Bishop shot to her feet, clutching her child. "Something must have happened! There’s no other reason he wouldn’t be here by now."

"Eleanor, calm down. Maybe he just didn’t hear the phone. Or he might already be here."

"Mika, hold the baby for me. I’m going to go look for your brother." When she thought about the Lockwood Family, how could Eleanor Bishop not be frantic?

Seeing Eleanor’s panicked expression, Mika Summers started to worry too. "Eleanor, you stay here. I’ll go."

"I’ll go with you," Joseph Summers, who had been silent until now, said as he stood up.

Mika Summers gave a helpless, quiet laugh and coaxed, "Dad, don’t get in the way. I’ll be right back."

As Mika ran off, Joseph Summers’s face flushed red. He turned to Una Sullivan indignantly. "That girl has less and less respect these days. How dare she say I’m getting in the way."

"Well, aren’t you?" Una Sullivan said with a smug smile, hugging her precious grandson even tighter.

"Fine, fine, I’m getting in the way. I’m getting in the way. I swear, I’m losing all my standing in this family lately."

...

Ian Shaw dropped Tristan Grayson off at the airport, but he was still worried. "You can barely get around right now. You should bring a few people with you. Even if you don’t want an entourage, you should at least have Henry Archer come along to take care of you."

At those words, a dark expression crossed Tristan Grayson’s face. "Ian Shaw, what the hell are you talking about? What do you mean I can ’barely get around’? I just lost the use of one arm. It’s not like I’m a complete invalid, okay?"

"But with only one good hand, if you get into a fight, you’ll be completely outmatched. You’ll just have to take the loss."

"I’m traveling for work, not to pick fights. That’s enough. Give me my luggage, I can go by myself." With that, Tristan Grayson didn’t wait for Ian Shaw to hand over the luggage, yanking it away himself.

Ian Shaw’s expression soured as he grumbled, "Tristan Grayson, you’re so ungrateful."

Tristan Grayson gave him a dismissive wave and started dragging his luggage toward the boarding gate.

As he neared the boarding gate, a figure suddenly ran past. Without warning, his heart gave two hard thumps.

He clutched his chest and looked after the retreating figure. All he could see was a woman in a bright red beret and a white wool coat.

The woman was on her phone, running frantically toward the airport entrance...

’From a distance, the woman’s back looks so much like hers. For a second, I almost thought it was her. But no... she has long, black hair, and this woman’s hair is short. And she should be almost nine months pregnant by now, but this woman isn’t. So, how could it possibly be her...’
