When they saw Xue Yang appear on TV, their jaws nearly hit the floor. It took them several looks to confirm that the person on screen was, in fact, their boss.

Xue Yang took the report and flipped through the pages. The numbers were even better than he had anticipated. This was a good sign.

Everyone was thrilled with the data.

"I got the official website for King’s Game up and running. Impressive, right?"
Xue Yang just gave a faint "Hmm," as if it were nothing out of the ordinary.
"Why the cold reaction?"
"For you, that’s a piece of cake."
And it was true. As long as Cui Hao’s love-struck brain wasn’t active and he wasn’t daydreaming about romance, his work efficiency was top-notch. The praise made Cui Hao float on cloud nine.
"Right, there’s something I think I should give you a heads-up about."
Seeing Xue Yang’s serious expression, Cui Hao had a feeling it wasn’t going to be good news.

Yu Kexin cut right to the chase. "School’s about to start, isn’t it? I think we need to start preparing to welcome the new students."
Xue Yang pinched his temples, a headache forming. He’d almost forgotten he was the student council president. It was about time to start preparations; otherwise, they’d be late. And Yu Kexin was the vice-president. Cui Hao and Sun Yufei were also on the council. The president and vice-president of the student council were now far too busy to handle the welcoming activities for new students.
"I understand."
Leaving that one sentence behind, Xue Yang continued on his way out, already running through a list of people in his mind who could handle the task.
