"Our bond, I sensed you were hurt and arrived here by the power of our bond." Victoria said and glanced at the man who had put her husband in the situation, ? was looking at her with wide eyes. "Huh?"

'No way… she survived?' ? thought, the Vampire King had really said that he was going to find a way to keep his daughters alive before the Calamity descended… but one of them was here? 'Koya-kun got more interesting.'

He held the tube with one hand and pointed the other one up.

"Change of plans Todd! Brutalize them as much as possible!" He shouted out and Todd gritted his teeth as the blood that was holding him back began turning white.

Tori gritted her teeth, to be honest, she had just interrupted without a plan in mind… From what she could see, there was no way that they could defeat him permanently, maybe if they reduced his body into nothingness but that wasn't how blood magic worked but she could split him apart into small bits.

She had rehearsed a cool entrance line for the whole time and she had forgotten it completely the moment she saw the state Koya was in.

"Ouch." Koya stood on his two feet again and shook his shoulder as he walked in front of her.

"Hubby?"

"I have a way to defeat him but you need to assist me." He replied, after a few calculations, the System had said that one of the accessible ways to be able to defeat Todd was by letting him overuse his mana or rather multiply it past what his body could handle.

That was much easier said than done but with the three of them, it was possible. He also needed to damage himself even more, plus he also needed another physical skill.

While she listened to him, Tori kept trying to strengthen the blood tendrils that surrounded him but the mana still bled through and would detonate shortly.

"I'll follow you to the ends of the world and back." She assured him and he turned back to smile though a wound on his face was still healing, Tori blushed. "What do you need? It's about to break."

"Oh? Just give me wings." Koya suggested while buying another physical skill, any technique made with mana would eventually lose against Todd and also the same move didn't work twice against him so he was learning… and for Koya to win, he needed to beat the man up the good old fashioned way… with his fists.

He dismissed Hollowblade into his inventory after that.

"What an interesting fight!" ? called from the side and as much as Koya wanted to go after him, they needed to focus on this guy first.

Nobody knew the extent of ?'s abilities or if this was the real ? plus he owned this dimension they were in and since Koya had experience with manga like this, trying to attack the owner of the dimension while in their own domain was stupid.

'It's not like he's trying to run away…' Koya thought and Victoria waved her hands around his back, forming wings made of blood.

"Tori, you'll provide support with Blood Convergence and any other spell while I fight him and also…" He pointed to ?, "Make sure to aim at him too, his face really pisses me off."

"O-okay." The Vampire perked up, she was writing this down mentally. Her hubby had told her to shoot at the tall one and also shoot at the grinning one. Simple enough.

Koya flexed his wings, slowly lifting into the air. They weren't hard to control.

"Now Riffi… I hope you're ready…" Koya said and the cat familiar nodded, they were a good distance away from Todd so his mana was no longer being suppressed.

"Yes Master~ Let's go together." Riffi said while positioning herself on his neck.

"Arise from the bond and lend me your strength… I call upon you, faithful one." Koya said as the black tattoos crawled out of his body and a strange mana began to fill him up as well, he closed his eyes and opened them as they turned purple. "Oh…"

Was this how Riffi felt daily? Void was really weird, it felt like he existed but at the same time, he didn't.

Things were really blurred.

"Master, focus on your enemy." She said. "Your vision will adjust by itself. I was trying to hold back before so I didn't obliterate you as well but now we can go at full power."

"RAHHHHH!!!" Todd yelled out and mana exploded in a shockwave around him, destroying all the tendrils of blood as he focused on Koya again. "EDDD!!!!"

Once again, Koya didn't know who this Ed person was but damn, what did he do to make this man that mad?

Whatever it was, it was clearly personal.

Todd shot off the ground and Koya flapped his wings once, pouring Overdrive into them and moving as well. The distance between them closed fast on both sides.

The two of them went at each other and just as they were about to collide, Koya moved to the side with his wings narrowly dodging the strike.

"Flying is weird.." He muttered, the feeling of wind against his back and face as he controlled the wings was strange, how did Tori and Mirei manage to do this daily?

Still he turned around without wasting momentum and cocked his fist back, Todd turned around and immediately fired several beams from his eyes, nose and mouth that shot through the air with the speed of moving bullets.

"Master, come on… use Void to move." She said and he focused on this strange mana, just as the beams threatened to tear into his body, he vanished completely and Todd blinked, stopping his attack but that was the mistake.

Koya materialized in front of him and punched him in the face, unlike Full Body Strike, there was no crimson energy or anything like that.

The moment his fist collided with the man's face, all the momentum he had built up collided as well and Todd was sent flying toward the ground, skidding with his back and leaving dents in the ground.

「Skill Name: Momentum Transfer (C-Rank)」

「Description: This skill converts movement speed directly into impact force, the faster the user is moving when contact is made, the harder the hit regardless of which limb」

That was the skill he had decided to buy after that… He needed to save more FP for 18th which wasn't too far off, that was when the Shop would open up again properly.

"Ow ow ow…" He muttered but his fist didn't completely break this time, it only hurt badly. "You're pretty overpowered huh, Riffi?"

She had the ability to phase in and out of existence, at least that was how it felt though for him, it was temporary.

He could guess that this ability was how she managed to stay hidden in the Familiar Isle throughout the years.

"You finally respect me Master." Riffi puffed out her cheeks. "You better pat my head when we get out of here."

Todd stopped rolling and shot back up immediately, faster than the first time and heading straight for Koya.

He came up like something that had been launched and Koya flapped backward but Todd was already closing the gap however Tori threw her arm forward.

CRACK! CRACK! CRACK!

Three bursts of blood shot out like spears, each one moving with the speed of a thrown blade. The first clipped Todd's shoulder and tore through clean, the second hit his chest dead center and the third caught his leg.

All three splattered off his body like they hit a wall but Todd didn't even slow down a bit.

'His mana coat is just dispersing them.' Koya thought, moving to the side. 'She needs a different angle.'

Tori wasn't done. She fired more… seven this time in a spread, aiming not only at Todd but also at ?.

"Hm?" ? looked up from examining the fight and three blood bursts were already heading for his face.

He hopped left and dodged…

He hopped right and dodged again…

The third one nearly got his ear and he flinched.

"Okay okay, you have good aim." He said and took two more hops backward as Tori kept firing in his direction between Todd. "I'm not your enemy right now!"

Tori was already loading another round.

Koya moved through the air again, circling wide as Todd tracked him. He disappeared with Void and Todd stopped, turning slowly while trying to feel for where he had gone.

Koya reappeared directly behind him but he didn't punch this time. He moved to the side and gave Tori the opening she needed.

Tori pressed both palms together and every blood burst she had fired, every scattered line still in the air, pulled together at once into a single whip of blood that cracked through the air.

It hit Todd across the back.

The sound it made was heavy as a long line of blood and flesh tore open across his back from shoulder to hip and Todd screamed and stumbled forward in the air.

Tori whipped him the way her father used to whip human slaves before the truce between races and she had to admit, it felt a bit exhilarating given that he was annoying her.

Koya was already moving again. He came out of a wide arc with everything he had and his fist hit Todd in the face.

CRACK!

Todd went flying backward but his eyes opened mid-flight and then spots lit up across his face… the sweat glands of his face, every single one of them glowed and with a roar he let out beams in every direction, a full spread firing outward like a machine.

Koya flew straight at them and he vanished as the beams tore through empty air.

He materialized directly in front of Todd's face and threw another punch, his fist burning from the mana release but he landed it clean on the same spot.

Hitting Momentum stacked the second hit on the damage from the first and Todd's head snapped back harder than it had the first time but the man wasn't done yet, Todd grabbed one of his wings.

His grip was trying to drag them both down and Koya felt the wing being crushed.

Then spikes erupted from the blood wing which was Tori's doing, and drove into Todd's palm.

Todd let go, dropping straight down and hit the ground with another Momentum Transfer kick on the way down, sending him into the floor.

Todd landed hard, coughed blood and shot back up again.

'He keeps coming.' Koya pulled back with his wings and put distance between them.

Todd charged and Tori hit him with another round of blood bursts, this time she had a better angle… she fired them into the already torn line across his back and they went in deeper than the coat could stop.

Todd slowed, he hadn't healed his back after all since he was so focused on killing the blond hired man in front of him.

Koya was prepared to start moving again however that was not needed since fast bursts made out of blood shot out, impaling the man through his entire body.

There were so much of them that there wasn't any part of his body that had been left out of the mix and they began to glow again but Tori smiled.

Each of the bursts were connected to her fingers and split into smaller parts, she moved her hands inversely and the blood bursts began splitting the man's body apart.

"HAAAH!!! ED!!!!" He was still clawing his hands forward, desperately trying to claw at Koya's face and just when he wanted to shoot out a beam of mana from his chest, his body split apart into different pieces that filled the air just as the blood overheated.

"Damn." Koya let out a sigh as the blood of the man as well as the particles of his body fell to the ground completely, the oppressive mana was gone as well. "She's really grown stronger."

Then he focused on the remains of the man's body.

"I guess this works too. It's time to destroy the remnants of his body." He soared down and repeated the chant again, the feeling of Void left his body as he drew upon Rion's power and his flames began rising instead as he dropped from the air.

Koya reached Mana Mode, letting the blue mana snake around his body and into his hands as he formed a spear made of flames and dove downward to the remnants of Todd's body.

'What an amazing trio.' ? complimented in his head.

Not only had they managed to restrict Todd, they were also bullying him. 'I must admit… I'm very interested in Koya-kun suddenly learning random movements in the middle of the fight but that will be in his DNA. I guess it's time to stop playing around and execute the final route of this plan.'

He lifted his right hand and looked at the bracelet there.

"Are you really going to lose to Ed, huh Todd? Did you forget what he did to Mel–" ? paused as the air around them trembled, it was all according to plan… now he needed a whole DNA sample from Koya that would last him the whole experiment alongside the blood.

Koya dove down with his spear and attacked the flesh only for it to give him resistance… Mana was defending against the strike, preventing him from burning it completely and in a white flash of light, the man's body began to come back together at an even faster rate than before.

"Fuck!!" He dove down even more gathering more mana from the air but the lance of fire shattered, it was completely inferior to that strike and what followed was a sheer devastation of mana that exploded outward with enough force to ravage the ground and everything around him.

Koya was blasted backward with Riffi in Victoria's direction and the blood wings on his back cushioned him as Victoria got him.

The blast threw them back far enough that they hit the far wall before the blood wings caught them.

"Are you okay?" She asked with a concerned look on her face, one of his legs and arms were gone.

The blast had taken them clean and his healing was already trying to rebuild from the stumps, It was going to take a lot of time.

"N-not at all." Koya said as Blessing began working again, this was really going to feel like shit when Numb deactivated. "I would have been dead now… it's all thanks to Riffi."

Riffi was on his stomach and letting out small breaths, she was getting exhausted.

'It costs a lot more to use Void in this world…' She thought and while she could probably escape, she had to carry her Master along and Tori too.

It reduced their chances heavily.

Her ears were flat and her tail wasn't moving, that was how Koya knew she was actually tired since her tail always moved.

Riffi glanced at the air that had cleared and they all got a look at Todd who had become completely white with mana like his body was overheating.

'It's exactly as the System said… he's multiplying higher than his body can handle so he's over-heating.' Koya thought, the battle was over or so it looked.

However Todd had different ideas, he raised his hands to the side weirdly and then slammed them into the ground as mana soared out of his body, covering everywhere and spreading outward, filling the room and even expanding further, breaking apart walls and doors and everything.

The ground split under his palms. The white floor cracked outward from both hands simultaneously and the mana that came out wasn't a beam or a burst… it was everything, all of it at once, in every direction.

?'s eyes widened.

"Hahahahaha!!!" He said. It was a fucking success! He did it… He had managed to trigger the man's domain manife–

The laughter cut off.

"Uh… Fuck." ? blinked, his body was inflating and spreading apart as the mana kept surging into him, it was at this moment he regretted making this body the kind that absorbed mana passively.

He exploded and so did the container, spilling red blood and brain matter as well as green blood and brain matter everywhere.

He had been so excited about triggering the Domain Manifest that he had completely forgotten he was standing inside it.

The mana just kept going and it solidified turning the surroundings of them into pure white mana as Todd kept screaming Ed's name.

"It's a… Domain Manifestation!" Victoria yelled out and what followed immediately was absolute whiteness as Todd wiped all of them out with a higher output of mana than even 20x!
