Unrivaled Soldier in the City

Chapter 488: Disdain

"Yes, Instructor!" Zhang Tianyou and his men roared, getting into their vehicles and following Lin Kuang. Once at the parking lot, Lin Kuang drove straight to Heno Sumio’s mansion, with Zhang Tianyou’s team following close behind.

After driving for more than half an hour, Lin Kuang finally arrived at the location Chen Feng had specified. There, he saw four men from the Island Country standing guard outside the mansion. The bulges at their waists clearly indicated they were armed with guns.

You little devils, not a single one of you is leaving East Sea alive! Lin Kuang thought to himself as he pulled the car to a stop at the mansion’s main gate.

The four guards from the Island Country all turned to look at Lin Kuang, watching him cautiously, uncertain of his purpose.

Just then, Lin Kuang whipped out the Desert Eagle he had prepared and opened fire.

BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!

Four consecutive shots rang out. The four bodyguards at the gate instantly dropped, each with a Blood Cave in the center of their forehead.

"This is the place. Go on, show me how much your skills have improved recently," Lin Kuang said just as Zhang Tianyou and the others appeared beside him.

"Yes, Instructor!" Zhang Tianyou and the others replied excitedly.

The next moment, the nine men charged in, each wielding a submachine gun.

The people inside the mansion had naturally heard the gunfire, especially Heno Sumio in his room. The moment the shots rang out, he knew something was wrong. The first person who came to his mind was Lin Kuang.

However, Heno Sumio was bewildered. How had Lin Kuang found this place? And how did he move so quickly?

"Get the men ready! Counterattack!" Heno Sumio ordered the man from the Island Country standing behind him.

"Yes, Mr. Heno," the man replied hastily.

Just as Heno Sumio and the man behind him were about to leave, a deafening rattle of gunfire erupted from within the mansion. Clearly, their men had already engaged the enemy.

"Let’s go, quickly," Heno Sumio urged, hurrying downstairs. He arrived just in time to see Zhang Tianyou and his team firing relentlessly as his own men were rapidly cut down.

Seeing this, Heno Sumio’s face turned grim. "Damn it! A bunch of worthless trash! Send in the ninja squad!" he roared in anger.

"Yes, Mr. Heno," the man behind him responded respectfully. He then left the room to order the ninjas hidden nearby to attack.

In an instant, black-clad figures materialized out of thin air, launching a volley of shuriken at Zhang Tianyou’s group.

Seeing this, Zhang Tianyou and the others quickly dodged while returning fire.

RAT-A-TAT-TAT!

Streams of Fire Snakes crisscrossed through the air, taking down several ninjas.

Lin Kuang simply stood at the main gate with his gun, watching everything unfold quietly.

If anyone posed a lethal threat to Zhang Tianyou or his men, Lin Kuang would fire a single shot. His target would inevitably fall, and that included the ninjas. No one could dodge Lin Kuang’s bullets!

At that moment, Heno Sumio, still inside the villa, spotted Lin Kuang standing at the mansion’s main gate. The sight of Lin Kuang instantly ignited a murderous glint in Heno Sumio’s eyes.

"Damn it, you cursed Chinaman! I’ll kill you!" Heno Sumio roared, charging out of the villa.

"You damned Chinaman, fight me!" Heno Sumio bellowed as he stormed out.

Lin Kuang paid him no mind. In fact, he didn’t even spare him a glance, his gaze fixed solely on the ninjas whose skills were not to be underestimated. Of course, the ninjas were nothing to Lin Kuang, but they posed a significant threat to Zhang Tianyou and his men. Lin Kuang had to watch over his team; he had no desire to see any of them die.

Heno Sumio gripped his katana, fully expecting Lin Kuang to charge and fight him. But Lin Kuang completely ignored him, infuriating Heno Sumio so much that he snorted like a braying donkey.

Meanwhile, Zhang Tianyou and his men were shooting rapidly. Heno Sumio’s men continued to fall, and even the ninjas were being quickly eliminated. As formidable as the ninjas were, they still died when their heads were blown apart or their hearts were pierced by bullets.

In less than two minutes, Heno Sumio’s forces had suffered devastating losses.

Seeing this, the fury in Heno Sumio’s eyes intensified, and a wild killing intent surged through him.

"You damned Chinamen, I’ll kill you all!" Heno Sumio roared once more.

The next moment, he pushed off with his legs, transforming into a phantom as he charged toward Zhang Tianyou and his men.

Seeing this, Zhang Tianyou’s team immediately opened fire, but they couldn’t track Heno Sumio’s figure. All their bullets missed their mark.

Lin Kuang glanced around. Although Heno Sumio still had quite a few men left, they posed no real problem for Zhang Tianyou’s team. Lin Kuang knew it was time for him to move. After all, his men were no match for Heno Sumio, and he had to step in.

Just as Heno Sumio materialized behind Zhang Tianyou, his katana slicing down, Lin Kuang intervened.

A cold light flashed as Lin Kuang’s sword, Nameless, instantly blocked Heno Sumio’s attack.

Zhang Tianyou immediately hit the ground and rolled, clearing the danger zone. He was keenly aware that Heno Sumio was beyond his ability to handle. He wasn’t foolish enough to try, not when Lin Kuang was more than sufficient for the task.

"You cowardly Chinaman, you’ve finally decided to face me," Heno Sumio snarled, glaring at Lin Kuang with eyes brimming with murderous intent.

Heno Sumio didn’t care how many of his men died. His only concern was killing Lin Kuang.

Hearing this, Lin Kuang gave a scornful smile. "You’re not yet qualified to challenge me. You must be Heno Sumio, correct? One of Yamaguchi’s pigs?"

Heno Sumio’s face instantly flushed crimson. Who in the Island Country would dare speak to him like that? Who would dare to humiliate him so brazenly? Lin Kuang’s insult sent him into a blind rage.

"Bastard! You arrogant Chinaman! You’re too conceited!" Heno Sumio roared. His katana became a blur as he brought it down in a vicious slash aimed at Lin Kuang’s head.

Seeing this, Lin Kuang merely smiled faintly. Nameless swept out swiftly, striking the katana from above.

CLANG!

A piercing screech echoed as the two blades collided violently.

However, Heno Sumio was enraged to discover that his famous blade was now chipped, while Lin Kuang’s Nameless remained completely unscathed!

At this sight, fire seemed to erupt from Heno Sumio’s eyes as his killing intent surged to new heights.

"You damned Chinaman! You deserve to die! You die!" Heno Sumio bellowed, his katana sweeping in a fierce arc toward Lin Kuang’s neck.
