Chapter 465: Unity of Yin and Yang
The terrifying battle between the two men naturally alarmed Liu Shilin and Lin Guo’er. They and Yang Ruotong came out of the villa to stand beside Yang Ruoxi. With their level of skill, however, they could hardly make anything out; at that moment, Lin Kuang and Fan Zeyu had become two phantoms, their movements utterly invisible.
"Ruoxi, how is it going? Is Lin Kuang in danger?" Yang Ruotong couldn’t help but ask. She knew her sister was also quite capable, so she was the only one she could turn to. Hearing her, Lin Guo’er and Liu Shilin also fixed their gazes on Yang Ruoxi, their expressions filled with anticipation as they waited for her response.
Yang Ruoxi gave a wry smile. "It seems to be an even match for now. I can’t see very clearly either. Their movements are too fast, and I can only barely catch glimpses of them." This wasn’t her fault, as the gap in their abilities was simply too vast; it would have been a miracle if she could have followed their movements.
Hearing this, Lin Guo’er, Liu Shilin, and Yang Ruotong breathed a collective sigh of relief. As long as Lin Kuang wasn’t in danger, nothing else mattered.
Yang Ruoxi felt a sense of helplessness. In a fight like this, even a slight advantage for Lin Kuang didn’t guarantee victory. However, she kept these thoughts to herself to avoid worrying the other three women, since her own worrying was enough.
The battle between Lin Kuang and Fan Zeyu had reached a fever pitch. Both had been going all out from the very beginning, making the fight progress at a blinding pace. A high-speed, high-consumption battle like this was not one that Fan Zeyu could sustain for long. What shocked Fan Zeyu, however, was that after fighting for so long, Lin Kuang’s strength showed no sign of weakening. In fact, the power of his attacks even seemed to be increasing, which was utterly horrifying. By now, Fan Zeyu’s own stamina was heavily drained, and he was struggling to maintain his offensive frequency. Yet Lin Kuang completely ignored such exhaustion. He was simply a monster!
He didn’t know that since obtaining the Yin Yang Physique, the Force of Nature continuously flowed into Lin Kuang’s body. This allowed Lin Kuang to fight at his peak for an extended period. The feeling was as exhilarating as using a cheat code; it was practically bullying.
Fan Zeyu couldn’t endure it any longer. At this rate, he was bound to fail because Lin Kuang’s attacks were simply too wild. I have to force him back. If this goes on, I will definitely lose! he thought desperately.
Immediately, Fan Zeyu channeled a surge of True Qi and threw a punch directly at Lin Kuang’s abdomen. He intended to force Lin Kuang back to create an opening for a major attack. However, with his extensive combat experience, Lin Kuang naturally sensed his intentions.
"If you want to use your ultimate move, then go ahead!" Lin Kuang said as his figure flashed back, easily dodging the punch.
Standing firm, Lin Kuang watched Fan Zeyu with a calm expression, a powerful confidence gleaming in his eyes. At this moment, he felt an unshakable self-assurance, as if he could suppress any enemy in the world.
Fan Zeyu stood panting, the recent exertion having taken a massive toll on him. Lin Kuang’s confident words, in particular, made him uncomfortable and even struck him as arrogant. But Fan Zeyu also knew it wasn’t arrogance; Lin Kuang truly possessed such terrifying strength.
"Lin Kuang, you’re incredibly strong," Fan Zeyu said, his voice laced with unwillingness. "I thought my strength had already reached the pinnacle of the younger generation. But after meeting you, I truly understand how weak I still am."
Hearing this, Lin Kuang smiled faintly. "It’s not that you are weak, but that I am strong."
He spoke directly, without a hint of humility, his words carrying the weight of absolute invincibility. Feeling the powerful aura emanating from Lin Kuang, Fan Zeyu’s expression shifted, his eyes revealing a hint of shock. He had sensed such a powerful aura before, but only from masters of the older generation. Yet, Lin Kuang already possessed this kind of presence, which meant his strength could rival the old masters of the Ancient Martial Realm.
"You’re right, you are truly powerful," Fan Zeyu said. "I have to admit, in a battle of attrition, I am not your match. In that case, let’s settle this with my single strongest attack!"
Lin Kuang smiled and nodded. "Alright. I’d also like to see just how powerful your strongest attack is."
As he spoke, his gaze grew solemn. His hands moved gracefully as his legs bent, one in front of the other, settling into the opening stance of Tai Chi.
Seeing this, Fan Zeyu was stunned again. "Tai Chi?"
"Exactly. It is Tai Chi. Come on," Lin Kuang said with a smile.
Hearing this, Fan Zeyu said no more and simply nodded. He took a deep breath as the True Qi in his body surged wildly, pouring entirely into his right arm. In an instant, the sleeve on his right arm exploded, revealing an arm that had swelled to be several times thicker than his left. It was a terrifying sight. Feeling the power gathered in that arm, Lin Kuang’s expression also turned serious.
"Lin Kuang, take this punch! This is the strongest attack I have ever comprehended!" Fan Zeyu said, his face paling. It was obvious this one blow was concentrating a massive amount of his True Qi.
Lin Kuang nodded. "Alright!"
"Rushing Cannon!" Fan Zeyu roared, pushing off with both feet and shooting forward.
At the same time, True Qi coalesced in his right hand, forming a Qi Sphere the size of a soccer ball. That Qi Sphere, carrying a terrifying force, tore free from his arm with tremendous speed and hurtled straight for Lin Kuang. Sensing the horrifying power contained within the Qi Sphere, Lin Kuang dared not be careless.
True Qi erupted from his body, completely enveloping him. Simultaneously, True Qi flared from his hands as he reached out to intercept the sphere. The very instant Lin Kuang’s hands enveloped the Qi Sphere, his palms began to rotate. This was the power of Tai Chi: the Combination of Hard and Soft, the unity of Yin and Yang, the art of deflecting a thousand pounds with four ounces. This was the very essence of Tai Chi that Lin Kuang had grasped during his recent epiphany. This was its true power. One could even say that this was true Tai Chi.
In an instant, the charging Qi Sphere came to a dead stop, completely under the control of Lin Kuang’s palms.
"Lin Kuang, it’s not over yet! Be careful!" Fan Zeyu couldn’t help but shout a warning. In that moment, he even forgot his mission to kill Lin Kuang. He simply saw an incredibly worthy opponent and didn’t want to see him die just like that.
