Unrivaled Soldier in the City

Chapter 458: They Are All Mine

"Don’t worry, I guarantee I’ll sort it out for you. Just you wait and see," Lin Guo’er said confidently, which gave Lin Kuang a headache. Why does she suddenly seem so unreliable?

But since they were already here, he might as well let her try. Who knows? It might just work. With that thought, Lin Kuang nodded and watched intently as Lin Guo’er and Liu Shilin went upstairs. He remained in the living room with little Xinxin to wait for news.

Ten minutes passed with no news. Half an hour went by, and still nothing. After a full hour, the four women had yet to come down.

This put Lin Kuang on pins and needles. He paced back and forth in the living room, so anxious he didn’t know what to do with himself.

Little Xinxin watched him curiously. Though the little girl was precociously clever, she was still clueless about adult matters. Or rather, she didn’t understand them at all.

"Uncle, why are you wandering around? Come watch *Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf* with Xinxin. It’s really fun," little Xinxin called out with a smile.

"Ah, no, that’s okay. Uncle is exercising to get stronger. You go ahead and watch," Lin Kuang hastily replied. At that moment, he had no interest in watching *Pleasant Goat*, let alone *Boonie Bears*!

Lin Kuang fumed as he paced in circles. Dammit, what the hell is going on?! Can’t they at least give me an update? Are they trying to kill me with anxiety? He was beside himself with frustration, but the four women simply didn’t come down.

After an hour and a half, Lin Kuang couldn’t wait any longer and marched straight upstairs.

Just as he reached the landing, Yang Ruoxi’s door opened. Yang Ruotong walked out, her face flushed red. When she saw Lin Kuang, she shot him a sidelong glare. Liu Shilin followed close behind, her pretty face also crimson. After her came Yang Ruoxi, whose small face was even redder. Her beautiful eyes were swollen like walnuts, a truly pitiful sight. The last one out was Lin Guo’er, who wore a triumphant smile and even winked at Lin Kuang.

Seeing this, Lin Kuang was utterly baffled. Heavens, what in the world is going on? Can someone please tell me what happened?

"Cough, cough... Um, so... what’s the situation?" Lin Kuang couldn’t help but ask, his gaze fixed on Yang Ruoxi.

Yang Ruoxi gave Lin Kuang an annoyed look but didn’t say anything. She didn’t seem to be truly angry, though.

"You dummy," Lin Guo’er, who was bringing up the rear, finally spoke. "Ruoxi said she’ll forgive you this time. Can’t you see that?"

Hearing this, Lin Kuang was stunned. "Really?" he blurted out. "Ruoxi, you’re not angry anymore?" He rushed over excitedly, grabbed Yang Ruoxi’s small hand, and asked with a mix of hope and apprehension.

Seeing Lin Kuang’s tense and fearful expression, Yang Ruoxi felt the urge to laugh. But she suppressed it. This wasn’t the time for laughter, lest Lin Kuang take a mile if given an inch.

"Well... it’s fine, I guess," Yang Ruoxi said, keeping a stern face.

"Huh? What?" Lin Kuang was perplexed. What did that mean? Was he forgiven or not?

Just then, Lin Guo’er secretly nudged him. How can you be so dense? She’s clearly not mad anymore.

Understanding Lin Guo’er’s signal, Lin Kuang finally got it.

He immediately pulled Yang Ruoxi into a tight embrace. "Ruoxi, thank you," he whispered, his tone gentle yet incredibly firm. "I’ll be sure to love you with everything I have."

Hearing this, Yang Ruoxi wanted to keep pretending to be angry, but his words made it impossible. She wrapped her arms around his back and rested her head in his embrace. "You’re such a big jerk!" she said viciously, then opened her mouth and bit down hard on his shoulder.

Feeling this change in her, Lin Kuang breathed a silent sigh of relief. This meant she had truly forgiven him. She can bite me once? Hell, she can bite me a few more times! It’s no problem at all!

He held her even tighter, with no intention of letting go. "Lin Kuang, you have the day off. Shilin and I are going to the office, so you don’t need to come," Lin Guo’er called out, pausing with a smile as she headed down the stairs. "Ruotong is taking Xinxin to school, which means it’ll just be the two of you here. It’s a rare opportunity. Make sure you seize it, you hear?"

Hearing this, Yang Ruoxi’s pretty face instantly blazed red. She glanced shyly at Lin Guo’er. "Guo’er..."

"Hehe, it’s going to happen sooner or later anyway. Today just happens to be a perfect chance. Ahem, we’re heading out now. We’ll all have dinner together tonight," Lin Guo’er said cheerfully before grabbing Liu Shilin and leaving.

Yang Ruotong, carrying little Xinxin, also got in her car and drove off, leaving Lin Kuang and Yang Ruoxi alone in the massive villa.

Gazing at Yang Ruoxi’s flushed face in his arms, Lin Kuang felt a surge of anticipation and excitement.

"Ahem... Ruoxi, this... this really is a great opportunity, don’t you think?" he asked with a grin, carrying her toward the bedroom.

Seeing his actions, Yang Ruoxi’s face turned an even deeper shade of red. She hid her head in his chest, too shy to speak.

Lin Kuang chuckled. Silence is consent. Since she’s not objecting, I absolutely have to seize this chance.

Returning to Yang Ruoxi’s room, he gently laid her on the bed.

Yang Ruoxi bit her lip, her beautiful, shy eyes darting away. She knew exactly what Lin Kuang was about to do. She had prepared herself for it, but she was so shy she didn’t know how to react.

Watching her shy yet adorable expression, Lin Kuang couldn’t help but chuckle. "Ruoxi, from now on, you’re not getting away."

With those words, he carefully began to unbutton her pajamas.

Yang Ruoxi bit her lip, her lovely eyes filled with a bashful crimson flush.

"Lin Kuang, you big jerk... To think you... you did *that* with my sister so early," Yang Ruoxi said, her face burning. The four of them had talked in the room for so long that practically all their secrets were out, and Yang Ruotong’s was no exception.

Hearing this, Lin Kuang froze, an embarrassed look on his face. "Cough, cough... So, you know about that, huh?"

"Of course I know! My sister told me herself just now. If she hadn’t said anything, I would’ve never known," Yang Ruoxi said, blushing as she shot him a fierce glare.

At this, Lin Kuang decided to just be shameless about it. "No problem," he said brazenly. "Now you’re mine, too. In the future, you’ll all be mine. Yep, all mine... all mine."
