Then, he turned around and walked away, but he stopped upon seeing Jiang Ningxian and Uncle Jiang.
"I told you I'd lend you a hand, and I won't go back on my word," Jiang Ningxian said. Then, her face turned solemn as he added, "The Immortals haven't arrived yet, but the Sages out there are already very troublesome.
"Some of them are probably Great Sages. Uncle Jiang will go with you and help you hold them back."
The sheer number of powerhouses looming over Earth was staggering. Lu Yuan couldn't handle them all alone, so Jiang Ningxian entrusted Uncle Jiang with several trump cards her elders had given her. They ought to be enough to match Great Sages.
