When Zhao Rong heard the suggestion to use his own name for the university, he quickly protested. "Professor, please don't name the university after me! What have I possibly done to deserve such an honor?"

Although Zhao Rong strongly objected, all the school leaders, teachers, and students present unanimously agreed with the old professor's proposal to rename the Women's University to Zhao Rong University.
