Fortunately, Long Chen’s actions bought enough time for Lei Shishi and the others to land safely on the boulder. Seeing they were all secure, Long Chen stopped his attack and swiftly sidestepped.

The next second, the Power of Wind and Thunder struck the massive boulder, creating a terrifying crash on impact. However, what happened next immediately caught Long Chen’s attention.

The massive boulder, despite the violent impact from the Power of Wind and Thunder, was not destroyed. It merely shuddered violently a few times, and nothing more. A hint of a smile appeared at the corner of Long Chen’s mouth.

Taking advantage of the brief lull, he quickly turned to Chu Lingjun and the others. "Go underneath the boulders! The Power of Wind and Thunder can’t destroy them."

With that said, Long Chen leaped, jumping directly to the underside of the opposite boulder and clutching it tightly to keep from falling. Hearing his words, Long Xin, Chu Lingjun, and the others didn’t dare to delay, promptly doing as he instructed. Seeing the Power of Wind and Thunder approaching again, they all leaped and grasped the boulder firmly.

The Power of Wind and Thunder struck the boulder with terrifying destructive force. Incredibly powerful energy ripples swept out in all directions. Long Chen and the others quickly circulated the battle qi in their bodies, forming a Defensive Barrier to block the shockwaves. The massive boulder also shook violently, but they held on tight, avoiding being thrown off.

After forcibly stabilizing themselves, Long Chen and the others made their way slowly along the underside of the boulder, inching closer to the other end. As long as they moved away from this area, they could evade the Power of Wind and Thunder.

Once they reached the other side, their position became relatively safe. Here, the Power of Wind and Thunder was significantly weakened. Upon reaching the edge with nowhere else to go, Long Chen grabbed hold of the boulder and, with a powerful heave, flung himself upward.

Long Xin and the others also leaped up from below, successfully reaching the ledge. Seeing that everyone had made it out unscathed, Long Chen quickly retreated to join them.

He looked up and saw that Xu Huanhuan, He Luo, and Xue Wuying were still busy evading the Power of Wind and Thunder. Deciding to ignore them, he turned and left.

They continued forward for a considerable distance before finally seeing the entrance to the Fourth Layer. However, the entrance was not open.

The Bloodthirsty Bat pointed to a spot. "Master, just place the Wind Thunder Crystals there, and the entrance will open on its own."

Hearing this, Long Chen and his companions nodded slightly. They each took out the Wind Thunder Crystals from their Storage Rings and placed them in the designated spot. At first, the entrance didn’t change. However, as more Wind Thunder Crystals were added, a silver light flashed from within the portal. Then, the entrance slowly began to open. Seeing this, Long Chen’s group headed straight for it.

Bedraggled, Xu Huanhuan, Xue Wuying, and He Luo finally evaded the Power of Wind and Thunder, clearly drained of a great deal of energy. They too arrived at the entrance. He Luo’s expression was grave as well. Meanwhile, Xu Huanhuan noticed the nearby Wind Thunder Crystals, their energy now completely consumed.

She immediately called out to the other two, "Look over here!"

Hearing her, He Luo and Xue Wuying turned toward her. "What is it?" they asked, their voices grave.

"Take out the Wind Thunder Crystals you’ve gathered," Xu Huanhuan surmised. "To reopen this passage, we probably need Wind Thunder Crystals to power it."

After speaking, Xu Huanhuan took out all the Wind Thunder Crystals she had collected and placed them in the designated indentations. Seeing this, He Luo and Xue Wuying promptly followed suit. When they had put all their crystals in place, a silver light flashed from within them.

The sealed entrance trembled slightly, but it showed no sign of opening.

He Luo and Xue Wuying turned to Xu Huanhuan and asked, "What’s going on? Why isn’t the entrance opening?"
