With Long Chen’s command, Lei Shishi and the others sprang into action.

Long Chen took a step forward, leaped into the air, and headed straight for the central position.

The Power of Wind and Thunder seemed to sense their presence, as the sky immediately resounded with an astonishing peal of thunder. Suddenly, several streaks of the Power of Thunder materialized in the sky. Carrying a terrifying force, they swept toward Long Chen’s group with swift ferocity.

"It’s them!"

He Luo, Xue Wuying, Xu Huanhuan, and the others noticed Long Chen’s group at almost the same moment, all looking up in their direction.

Long Chen faced the oncoming Power of Wind and Thunder with a calm, unperturbed expression. He led his group quickly toward the position where He Luo and the others were. Meanwhile, the bolts of wind and thunder in the sky locked onto Long Chen’s group, altering their trajectory to intercept them.

"Not good!" Upon seeing this, He Luo’s expression turned ugly. "That damned bastard actually wants to use us to get through here."

Hearing this, grave expressions also flashed across the faces of Xue Wuying and Xu Huanhuan. None of them had expected Long Chen to redirect the disaster toward them, planning to use their shelter to get through.

Even so, the terrifying Power of Wind and Thunder continued to relentlessly assault the Defensive Barrier.

Long Xin pursed her lips into a smile. "They say timing is everything."

"Those people arrived here quite early, but in the end, they’re still trapped," she continued. "And what must infuriate them even more now is that they, the forerunners, have been caught up to by latecomers like us. How could they not be furious?"

Lei Shishi looked at Long Chen and said thoughtfully, "Even though we’ve made it here, the Power of Wind and Thunder on the other side is still very dangerous. It’ll be incredibly difficult for us to get past. What should we do next?"

Chu Lingjun had also considered this. She looked at Long Chen, waiting to see if he had a good plan.

"I have a plan," Long Chen said to the others, "but it’s risky. You’ll have to keep up with me."

"What’s the plan?" Tang Le asked immediately.

Before Long Chen could explain, Xue Wuying, who was above them, grew impatient. His eyes darkened, a flash of ruthlessness in their depths.

"Damn it all!" he roared. "I came here to clear this trial, not to wait around to die! To hell with this! I’m done!"

As his words fell, Xue Wuying rapidly circulated the battle qi in his body, concentrated it in his palm, and launched a strike straight up.

The sudden move left He Luo, Xu Huanhuan, and the others completely stunned. None of them had imagined Xue Wuying would act so rashly at such a critical moment. The defensive Formation they had painstakingly maintained was shattered by his single action.

At that moment, the Power of Wind and Thunder from above surged down, sweeping toward He Luo’s group with tremendous force.
