Upon hearing Lei Shishi, Long Chen and the others nodded in unison. They then did as instructed, transferring all their battle qi into her body. Bolstered by their battle qi, Lei Shishi’s strength greatly increased.

Under her control, the Thunder Treasure Box once again emitted a dazzling light. A terrifying Power of Thunder swept out in all directions. The bats that had originally swarmed the artifact were all sent flying. The Power of Thunder coiled around the treasure box. Having just witnessed its might, the bats were terrified and no longer dared to approach.

Under Lei Shishi’s control, they slowly put distance between themselves and the sandstorm.

Seeing that the bats dared not approach, Long Xin and the others finally felt the tension in their hearts ease. They praised Lei Shishi, "Impressive!"

Tang Le then asked curiously, "Young Master, what is this treasure? It’s so powerful that it can not only protect us but also launch attacks."

Lei Shishi explained, "This is the Thunder Treasure Box. My father gave it to me for protection during critical moments. We can also use it to observe the outside world and launch attacks. Its only flaw is that it consumes a great deal of battle qi. With all these attacking bats outside, it would be impossible for me alone to sustain the attacks."

Tang Le smiled. "You can never have too many treasures; they’re invaluable when it counts."

Long Chen said in a deep voice, "We’d better leave here quickly."

Hearing this, Lei Shishi increased the circulation of her battle qi, causing the Thunder Treasure Box to accelerate. The bats now kept their distance, able to do nothing but watch as the treasure box moved further from the center of the sandstorm.

At the same time, the colossal Bloodthirsty Bat witnessed this scene, its expression turning to one of fury. As their leader, the bat was infuriated to see its swarm so wary of the Thunder Treasure Box and immediately let out a piercing roar.

The smaller bats were terrified, but under compulsion, they had no choice but to continue their assault on Long Chen’s group. Even though they knew it was akin to moths flying into a flame, they had no other option. Like a crazed horde, they charged relentlessly toward the Thunder Treasure Box.

Lei Shishi had no intention of letting them succeed and continuously unleashed the Power of Thunder. Batch after batch of bats, unable to withstand the immense power, were instantly slain.

Seeing its underlings being killed one after another, the Bloodthirsty Bat grew even more furious. Its flapping wings suddenly morphed into two sharp blades as it shot straight toward the Thunder Treasure Box.

Seeing this, Lei Shishi quickly urged the Thunder Treasure Box to release the Power of Thunder again. The Bloodthirsty Bat promptly flapped its wings, unleashing a powerful Qi Blade.

When the two forces collided, a dull sound erupted, sending terrifying ripples of energy sweeping outwards. The Bloodthirsty Bat let out a low growl as an even more astonishing power burst forth from its body.

The terrifying Qi Blade cleaved the Power of Thunder in two. Its might, still potent, allowed it to continue charging toward the Thunder Treasure Box at high speed!

"This is bad!" Long Xin’s delicate brows furrowed, her face filled with worry. "This beast is that strong?!"

A trace of concern also appeared on Lei Shishi’s face. She quickly formed seals with her hands to reinforce the defensive power of the Thunder Treasure Box.

BANG!

A loud explosion resounded. A violent tremor ran through the treasure box, and Long Chen and the others were thrown off balance. Fortunately, they were unharmed and the Thunder Treasure Box didn’t crack, but it was sent flying.

Seeing this, Lei Shishi immediately took control of the artifact, using the impact’s momentum to speed away. The Thunder Treasure Box was incredibly fast, covering a thousand miles in the blink of an eye.

"Damn it!" Seeing Long Chen and his group disappear, the Bloodthirsty Bat flew into a rage. "Damnable creatures, don’t even think you can escape from me!"

With that, the Bloodthirsty Bat summoned its entire swarm and gave chase, rapidly pursuing in the direction the group had fled.

"Those bats are insane," Tang Le breathed a sigh of relief. "Luckily, we left when we did."

"Don’t let your guard down," Long Chen reminded him. "Bats are incredibly fast. They’re probably already chasing us."

Lei Shishi kept the Thunder Treasure Box moving forward, not daring to stop for even a moment. She knew that if she stopped, the Bloodthirsty Bat would almost certainly catch up. If that happened, things would become even more troublesome.

As they traveled, Long Chen and the others began to discover bodies scattered along the way. The surrounding air was thick with the overpowering, pungent scent of blood.

However, before they could even catch their breath, another powerful gale swept toward the Thunder Treasure Box, creating a massive vortex that pulled at everything around it. Anything drawn inside was instantly pulverized, and one such vortex was now bearing down on them.

Seeing this, Long Chen quickly warned, "Dodge it!"

Lei Shishi reacted instantly. Just as the Thunder Treasure Box was about to be sucked in, it abruptly changed its trajectory, avoiding the danger just in time.

Although they dodged the vortex, the respite was short-lived. Before the Thunder Treasure Box could fully stabilize, another powerful vortex rushed toward them.

"These things are relentless," Long Chen muttered, his brow furrowed in displeasure at the endless barrage of crises. He knew that if this continued, they would remain in a passive state. They had to find a way to break out of this situation as soon as possible. Only then could they leave this place safely and quickly.

Under Lei Shishi’s control, the Thunder Treasure Box dodged one vortex after another. They pressed onward, hoping to reach the end and enter the spatial passage to the Third Layer. They had now seen firsthand how dangerous the sandstorms were; this second trial was far more difficult than the first.

Protected by the Thunder Treasure Box, Long Chen’s group advanced another considerable distance. Soon, they noticed figures appearing ahead.

The sects these people belonged to were ranked relatively low in the God-Devil Domain. Reaching this point had clearly cost them an enormous amount of effort. When they saw the Thunder Treasure Box moving almost unimpeded through the sandstorm, their faces filled with envy. They coveted the item intensely, wishing they could claim it for themselves. However, seeing the Power of Thunder flickering on the artifact, they felt a surge of fear and had to temporarily abandon the thought.

Lei Shishi glanced at them indifferently and continued forward without a word.

After traveling another two hundred meters, Lei Shishi spotted the members of the Heavenly Demon Sect. At the same time, the Heavenly Demon Sect’s group also noticed the Thunder Treasure Box.
