Beneath the Red Dragon

Chapter 757 - 119: Delivering the Head to the Empire’s Nine Frontiers (Part 3)

Above the sea, the Tidal Giants, wielding their natural magic to control water sources, conjured towering waves a hundred meters high, overwhelming all in sight, only to be frozen by a giant adult White Dragon with magic.

The grown White Dragon Saclese roared with the inherent fury of the Giant Dragons, sweeping through the clouds, trailing a frost-laden path, and on its massive wings, densely inscribed with a Hexagram Array, freezing everything within a ten-mile radius.

"Retreat, Tidal Giants, today the banner of Gogomola is destined to be planted over this sea, and none can shake it. Otherwise, you will incur the wrath of the Gogomola Dragon Group, and even in the depths of the ocean, face mortal punishment!"

The Dragon Language voice resounded with undeniable calm; the towering White Dragon looked down upon the Tidal Giants commanding the sea waters, its immense Dragon Claw gently tapping upon the frozen waves, transforming the boundless sea water into icy shards that fell into the ocean.

The towering Tidal Giants are a deep-sea species and were once a formidable civilization in the ocean, but all civilizations must face decline at some point, and now is no longer the time for the Tidal Giants to rule the seas.

Confronted by the Golden Empire’s Giant Dragons, these Tidal Giants showed no fear. Though Giant Dragons could roam the seas and wield great power, they could never match the innate abilities of the Tidal Giants.

Even the most powerful Ancestral Red Dragon of the Gogomola Dragon Group could not defeat them in the deep seas, in the eyes of these Tidal Giants.

However, witnessing the Golden Empire’s massive fleet, with countless Warriors leaping from dozens of medium-sized warships into the water to massacre the Shahua Fishmen, made these Tidal Giants grow hesitant to resist.

These Warriors from the Golden Empire were not aquatic species, yet with the augmentation of Magic Armor, they could exert land-like power even in the ocean, showcasing a fearsome display.

This signified that if the Golden Empire truly sought to annihilate the Tidal Giants, they possessed the capability to launch a war of extinction, much like the final resistance of the Shahua Fishman Kingdom before them.

The leader of the Tidal Giants spoke solemnly, "We have no intention to oppose the Golden Empire, merely allied with the Shahua Fishmen to jointly resist the deep-sea Nagas. We can certainly withdraw, but we Tidal Giants will not acknowledge the Golden Empire’s authority over the sea."

The White Dragon Saclese chuckled proudly, "Gogomola’s authority never requires recognition; Tidal Giants, when the Emperor of the Empire truly desires to claim the sea, you will know that surrendering is your best choice."

The crew aboard the ’Dragon Roar’ could not conceal their inner turmoil as they witnessed the battlefield’s devastation in the distance.

No Giant Dragon Lords appeared here, yet the scale of this sea war was already sufficient to obliterate some smaller civilized realms.

Celia, as part of the Giant Dragon Race, paid particular attention to these Dragons in the sky, yet these Dragons, whose fame was not far-reaching, displayed something that deeply intimidated Celia.

Ordinary Dragons, though capable of harnessing wind and Magic Power for flight, still needed to flap their wings when chanting Curse Magic and launching magic attacks.

But every Giant Dragon here seemed to possess an element and nature harmony, a mastery unmatched by ordinary Dragons, like advanced Dragons with the abilities of Elemental Masters.

"The civilization of Giant Dragons? It’s already making me feel drawn to it," Celia whispered.

Princess Isabelle Adjani of the Elf Race couldn’t describe her feelings either, especially seeing the Legion Warriors, shouting "Fearless, merciless, loyalty to the Emperor is our courage and glory," as they descended upon the island to slaughter.

"Such powerful war capabilities, yet possessing such restrained wisdom; what kind of Dragons are the rulers of the Golden Empire, completely unlike the ecology and psychology of Dragons,"

Agani watched the Warriors’ bodies radiating power, similar to some Elves blessed by the transformative influence of the Celestial Golden Tree.

"Perhaps the Elf Race’s answers can be found in the Golden Empire."

The other species on board harbored varied thoughts; it was not difficult to see the impact this war had on them.

The massacre soon concluded with the retreat of the Shahua Fishmen and the downfall of the Pirate Alliance.

As the adult White Dragon Saclese lifted the grotesque head of the Shahua Fishman Prince high, roaring aloud, "With this heretical head, spread it throughout the Empire’s borders, witness my glory, witness the Empire’s might!" the ’Dragon Roar’ finally set sail.

When they saw dozens of tall spires piercing the clouds from the corners of the city, the white marble structures shining with dazzling pure light, and graceful arch bridges leaping from one spire to the next, sketching beautiful arcs in the air.

They knew the Golden Empire lay before them.

These arch bridges were designed by the Imperial Elves while crafted by the Dwarf Artisans, able to support whole troops, despite looking like even a small bird could disrupt its beautiful balance.

In the majestic, grand city, diverse civilizations greeted new guests and new hands of civilization.

The borders of the Empire were now pacified; from today forth! -- "The Complete History of the Golden Empire"
