Beneath the Red Dragon

Chapter 756 - 119: Presenting the Head at the Nine Borders (Part 2)

Occasionally, a few massive Flying Dragons were struck by the dense Giant Crossbows and Magic attacks, falling to the sea surface.

But before the surrounding Shahua Fishmen could gather, the fierce Deep Sea Naga had already lifted the bodies of the Flying Dragons and Knights.

An Eight-armed Naga swung a giant Crescent Blade, dominating the sea.

The lithe and graceful body curves could not conceal her fierce and dazzling sword light, which shone with her large areas of bare, smooth, and bright skin, dazzling her enemies’ eyes.

Her eight white and plump arms and terrifying snake tail possessed a unique beauty, yet in the Shahua Fishmen’s eyes, they were the Death God’s Soul Hooking Scythe.

Endowed by divine favor, this Eight-armed Naga had inexhaustible strength. Although there was a limit, no Shahua Fishman could reach this Naga’s strength threshold.

Even a Baron among the Shahua Fishmen, even the ruling Prince of the Shahua Fishman Kingdom, were swept away by blood and remnants around this Naga, whose fierce momentum was no weaker than the Giant Dragon in the sky.

In the sky, a fierce adult White Dragon with massive scarred and cracked cheeks flapped its wings, speeding through the sky, and that ancient Dragon Language Magic resounded like overlapping songs in the frost and snow.

The swirling snow accompanied it, and a few seconds later, the Dragon Language Magic surged, unleashing an extreme cold storm below its path.

The surging sea water was momentarily frozen by the adult White Dragon’s Dragon Language Magic, turning even the pirate ships riding the waves into ice sculptures.

The thick cannon barrels on the steel battleships had aimed at these ships within range under the Sea Corps’ calibration, and intense flames and highly concentrated Magic Power burst forth simultaneously.

Whiz, boom!

The steel battleship, equipped with mobile Magic Energy Cannons and High-Energy Gunpowder Heavy Cannons on both sides, fired a simultaneous salvo, incredibly breaking two frozen pirate ships, each over forty meters long, in half.

As the Golden Empire’s steel battleships began parading across The Sea, the pirates and the Southern Countries’ nations also started emulating the Imperial improvements.

Although they couldn’t construct moving land on the sea with steel like the Empire, they could use Magic enhancement to coat each ship with a layer of sturdy Iron Armor.

These pirate ships, trying to conceal their origins, couldn’t have the powerful configurations of the Southern Countries’ main battleships, but their hulls were still covered with a layer of iron plate Steel Armor.

Due to ironware’s poor Magic conductivity, these pirate ships’ main vessels even inscribed defensive and stability arrays on the hulls under the Iron Armor.

But even such sturdy defenses couldn’t withstand the Imperial battleship’s heavy cannon attacks.

The Magic-Driven Penetrating Heavy Cannon and Magic Pulse Cannon carried on the Imperial battleship were created to strike targets with Magic defense capabilities, the former possessing great penetrating and concentrating power, while the latter contained destructive power.

Many pirates were instantly pulverized by the heavy cannon on the shattered hulls, and the subsequent Magic Pulse Heavy Cannon further scattered their ashes.

"It’s no use, we can’t withstand these Golden Empire bastards; their power is too strong. Holding this base is a dead end; we should abandon the alliance with the Shahua Fishmen, flee the West Sea, and regroup in the south."

On a massive flagship, measuring sixty-five meters long, an extraordinarily charismatic pirate shouted angrily, "We don’t need to risk our lives for those people, captain!"

In the magic observation and telescopes of the pirate fleet leader, Glie, the densely packed warriors on the Golden Empire Steel Battleship sailing over the waves were preparing to land on the islands.

These warriors, draped in heavy armor, belonged to the Frenzy War Legion, under the command of the Frenzy Corps leader, Jib, who had already breached four island bases of the pirate and Shahua Fishman Kingdom alliance.

And the island behind them was the last base they held between the near sea and deep sea of the West Sea.

The Southern Countries, although not openly targeting the Golden Empire, had spontaneously formed an economic alliance aggregate against economic and cultural invasion and colonization, to counter the Golden Empire’s new colonialism.

Glie, as an instructor at the Navy Academy in Southern Rose City, defected under the Southern Economic Alliance aggregate’s will and became a notorious pirate in the seas.

His purpose was merely to fulfill some covert ambitions of the Northern Border South Noble Alliance.

But not only did Glie not anticipate this, even the Southern Nobles didn’t foresee that their gap with the Golden Empire had widened to near-polar extremes.

Like the vast chasm between a superpower on the earth of a past life and a certain region of Tanzania, as immense as the blow of a more advanced civilization on a primitive one.

Whether in organizational strength, comprehensive national power, or absolute strength in face-to-face confrontation, the covert power of the Southern Alliance couldn’t significantly affect the Golden Empire, even though both sides possessed knowledge known as Magic.

Glie set down the magic observation telescope; the rocking flagship couldn’t shake his body, but the voice of this once most outstanding Navy Academy instructor dropped inescapably with melancholy.

"No use, we can’t escape. Those Tidal Giants abandoned the alliance with the Shahua Fishmen earlier, and the Shahua Fishman Kingdom can’t resist the Golden Empire on the sea. We can’t escape."
