Chapter 329 - 123: The Big Guy
"The Ministry of Finance proposes that after the formal establishment of the kingdom, it is necessary to mint and issue its own currency. In order for the currency system to circulate smoothly with other continental countries, the currency value should align with the common currency of the continent,"
Chief Maid Charlize said this while taking out several sample gold coin molds from a nearby document bag and spreading them across her long and plump thighs.
"These are the currency samples designed by the Ministry of Finance. They’ve provided a total of six different samples of gold coin molds,"
Karon tilted his head slightly, looking at the gold coins engraved with different patterns. He did not offer his choice but instead said, "No rush on this; decide after the kingdom’s name is confirmed."
The obedient Chief Maid quickly retrieved the gold coin molds, resealed and marked them, then found a proposal about the kingdom’s name from a thick stack of documents and softly read the numerous ministers’ suggestions aloud.
"After an initial selection, only a few options remain: the Giant Dragon Country, the Dragon Kingdom, the Golden Country, and the Golden People’s Republic Kingdom..."
"The first few options emphasize the ruling position and identity of the Dragon Group in the kingdom, while the latter mostly take geographical names. However, the proposer of the Golden People’s Republic Kingdom specifically noted that, as an enlightened world ruler like a master, there’s no need to narrowly express the country’s feature of Giant Dragon ruling status,"
"The proposed kingdom name also has an explanation, inspired by a beautiful wish you made, ’May this world shine like gold, may civilization pass on like a flame,’"
"Forge a civilization that shines like gold, gather all the ruled people as the Golden People, a republic where all races coexist, with the Dragon as the king!"
At this point, Charlize pursed her cherry-red lips and quietly raised her head to observe the reaction of the Red Dragon Monarch. She felt this proposal might better suit her master’s thoughts.
But the Red Dragon did not give a definitive reply, instead instructing his Chief Maid, "Record these proposals into several copies and send them to each Giant Dragon Lord for them to decide!"
Chief Maid Charlize quickly instructed an Elf Maid to take the document to be recorded.
The Elf Maid, with fair skin and beautiful appearance, green long hair, took the document and stepped toward the residence of the maids beside the main castle’s first floor, near the back garden, where there is a whole cluster of buildings including a study belonging to the maids.
As the Elf Maid walked past the garden path, she saw a tall figure focused by the already six-meter-high World Tree.
That person had a pair of Dragon Horns pointing skyward, his skin was as red as blood. He was none other than the master she serves, the Monarch of the King’s Castle.
The Elf Maid quietly slowed her pace, took off her shoes, held them in her hand, and sneakily tiptoed into the study.
The gradually thriving branches of World Tree Ovo now appeared lush and green. Even on the mountain peak, where the winds often whipped around, the branches did not sway under the winds.
Two chubby Titan Demon Pythons quietly hid within the dense leaves of the World Tree, their pairs of round black shiny eyes observing Karon, who was quietly communicating with the World Tree Ovo’s consciousness. These two Demon Pythons even slowed down their breathing.
Though each body and Karon share the main consciousness, Karon is already quite accustomed to multi-threaded connectivity operations.
Moreover, this practice enhanced his inherently strong spiritual power, making him more resilient, reactive, and slightly increasing the strength and total of his spiritual power.
"Dad, I’m full," the World Tree Ovo conveyed a message to Karon, and the motionless branches began to sway lightly, like a child’s joyful dance.
"Great, now it’s time to learn," Karon grinned, withdrew his Dragon Claw from the lively tree, and smiled slightly.
The swaying branches of World Tree Ovo instantly drooped, returning to their immobile state despite the wind.
"Dad, what’s the use of learning this knowledge? I can already vaguely sense that big guy. It’s far, far away, so far that... anyway, it’s far."
The World Tree Ovo’s consciousness couldn’t find a suitable adjective, so it could only express with simple words, "But that big guy is so easy to spot, I can always sense it easily. Dad, am I more useful than Haninek and Grinek!"
"Yes, you’re not like those two who only eat and sleep all day," Karon gently patted the thick trunk of the World Tree, decisively giving timely praise to this World Tree baby.
The two timid Titan Demon Pythons looked resentful but didn’t dare interrupt Karon and the World Tree’s interaction, anxiously slithering back and forth among the branches.
"Hehe," upon receiving praise, the World Tree’s consciousness joyfully shook its branches, throwing the two Titan Demon Pythons off its body, and then said, "But, Dad, that big guy seems tied up. It can’t talk to me on its own, nor can it connect with me."
"If I want to connect with it and achieve communication, I still need to continue growing," the World Tree Ovo’s consciousness suddenly sank but its voice still resonated in Karon’s heart.
"One meter, two meters, three meters... I’m now over six meters, probably won’t need to grow to around a hundred meters before I can help Dad get in contact with that big guy,"
The World Tree Ovo’s consciousness became active again, continuing communication with Karon.
"So you must learn the knowledge to quickly contact that big guy. When you grow to a hundred meters, how long would it take to be of help to me,"
Karon patiently advised the World Tree Ovo; for such toddler-like beings, you shouldn’t impose force, but learn to guide, or achieving the desired effect could be challenging.
"Alright, for Dad," the World Tree Ovo’s consciousness calmed down, began receiving the ancient knowledge passed down from the Ancient Magic Empire.
Karon continued transmitting knowledge while explaining some common sense and tricky parts to the World Tree, allowing it to digest the knowledge faster.
Until on the mountain top, the Golden Bell hanging in the Giant Dragon Hall was rung by the heroic spirits guarding the hall, indicating another hour had passed.
The World Tree Ovo hurriedly exclaimed, "Full, no, tired, Dad, it’s time to rest."
Only then did Karon stop, allowing the World Tree Ovo’s consciousness to relax, to prevent too much knowledge absorption leading to failed comprehension, like water over a duck’s back, ear’s indifference.
