    Through her, Soren gains more than skill, he inherits secrets buried by kings, and a purpose he never asked for.
    But power in Nordhav has a cost. The training grounds are brutal. The nobles cruel.
    The city’s lawkeepers are hunting forbidden relics, and Soren is already being watched.
    As he fights to stay alive, rise in rank, and master the sword’s techniques, he begins to question if he’s the one that’s wielding the sword, or if the sword is the one wielding him.
