    I'm Ambrose, a Legendary Lich on the brink of financial collapse. When the human lords jacked up taxes to impossible heights, I did the unthinkable: I offered a 60% tax rate. Suddenly, my crumbling castle is flooded with refugees who'd rather pledge fealty to a walking skeleton than be bled dry by the living.
    I just wanted to fund my research. Now I'm managing a burgeoning territory, dealing with agriculture, economics, and very angry nobles who are upset I’ve poached their primary source of income.
    Who knew being an undead overlord involved so much paperwork? At least I'm a better landlord than the flesh-and-blood ones.
