Reincarnation Of The Legendary Sword Saint

Chapter 119: Did You Even See Me Move?

A white aura burst around Virgo.

It surged outward, stronger than before.

"Wow" he muttered.

Without thinking, he slashed his sword through the air

Then jumped lightly.

"My body feels lighter than usual!"

The aura flickered

Then disappeared.

He landed.

Luna smiled.

"Good."

"Very good."

She looked around the class.

"You all are truly talented."

"Now let’s move on to Sword Lords," Luna said. "Is there any Sword Lord in this class? Step forward."

A chair scraped lightly.

"I will," Jimmy said as he stood.

He picked up his sword and walked toward the front of the class, stopping a few steps before Luna.

"Good," she said. "Now listen carefully. The Sword Lord path is a bit more complicated."

She turned slightly, addressing the whole class.

"This ability is not simple. It is almost comparable to that of a god."

The class went silent.

"For those of you who are Sword Lords, yours will be harder to control. It won’t take long to learn, but stabilizing it that is the real challenge."

She looked back at Jimmy.

"Close your eyes."

He obeyed.

"Since it’s your first time, keep them closed. Everyone does that until they get used to it."

She stepped closer.

"Now imagine your golden mana flowing through your entire body."

"From your head your brain send that signal down to your heart."

"From your heart distribute it to both your hands and your legs."

"That’s why I said it’s complicated. Now, try."

Jimmy frowned slightly as he focused.

Nothing happened.

Luna smiled faintly.

"It’s fine. Try again."

Jimmy took a deep breath.

He focused again

From his head

To his heart

Then spreading outward

His hands

His legs

Suddenly

A golden aura burst out from his body.

It surged violently, pushing outward and rippling across the floor.

"Whoa!"

"This is insane!" Jimmy exclaimed, staring at his arms as golden mana wrapped around them.

But just as quickly

It vanished.

He staggered slightly.

Luna nodded.

"Well done."

"Very good."

She turned to the class again.

"For those with the same blessing, take note of what I instructed. Practice it after class."

"You may return to your seat."

Jimmy nodded and walked back.

Luna clapped her hands once.

"Now for something more advanced."

She paused briefly.

"Is there a Sword Saint in this class? Step forward."

Two hands went up.

And then

Neville also raised his hand.

Luna’s gaze shifted.

"Rowan I’ve heard that name before. Which one of you is Rowan?"

Rowan raised one hand lazily from his seat.

"I am."

"Good," she said. "I’ve heard you’re a Sword Saint. Would you like to come forward and demonstrate? It will help your growth."

Rowan didn’t even stand.

"No. I’ll pass."

A slight frown appeared on her face.

Before she could speak again

Neville raised his hand higher.

"I’m also a Sword Saint."

Luna’s expression softened into a smile.

"I see. Sorry to keep you waiting."

Neville stepped forward confidently, walking toward the front of the class.

Neville stepped forward and drew his sword, holding it firmly.

Luna observed him carefully.

"For Sword Saints it’s a bit different," she said. "Before releasing your mana fully, imagine a continuous flow a streamline."

She gestured with her hand.

"From your legs to your arms and back to your chest your heart your core."

She looked at him.

"It’s not easy. It’s just as difficult as the Sword Lord method. But try."

Neville nodded and closed his eyes.

I have to do this

He focused.

Tried once

Nothing.

He opened his eyes, slightly frustrated.

"Don’t worry," Luna said calmly. "Try again."

He nodded and tried again

Still nothing.

Luna shook her head slightly.

"It’s fine. Relax. Don’t overthink it."

"Calm your breathing."

Neville inhaled deeply then exhaled.

I have to do this.

I’ve been falling behind

I want to move forward

Rowan you’re already ahead

I can’t stay like this.

He closed his eyes again.

This time

He imagined it clearly.

A smooth stream of mana

Flowing from his heart

Spreading to both arms

Down to his legs

Then circulating back.

That’s it

He released it.

A green aura burst out around him.

The class gasped.

Neville’s eyes snapped open.

"It worked?"

He looked at his hands in shock.

"My body feels lighter"

He swung his sword lightly through the air.

"It’s easier to move"

Luna smiled.

"Good."

Neville nodded, but soon

The aura flickered

Then disappeared.

He exhaled.

"It’s not stable yet."

"Thank you," he said, bowing slightly before returning to his seat.

A student raised his hand.

"Is that how you’re going to train us?" Corey asked. "Shouldn’t we focus more? The tournament starts tomorrow. This is good, but we need more practical training."

Luna nodded.

"You’re right."

She folded her arms.

"I was planning to call on another student"

Her gaze shifted.

"Rowan."

The room fell silent.

"But it seems he’s gotten a bit cocky."

All eyes turned.

"You were asked to step forward," she continued. "You declined."

Her tone sharpened.

"That wasn’t a suggestion. It was an order."

Rowan sat there, calm.

What the hell why is everyone coming at me today?

"I’ve heard you’re talented," Luna went on. "But it seems all that praise has gotten to your head."

She pointed toward the front.

"Come here. Now."

Rowan stood up.

He walked forward casually

Then stopped in front of her with a faint smile.

"I apologize if it seemed like I was disrespecting you," he said calmly. "That wasn’t my intention."

Luna studied him for a moment

Then her expression softened slightly.

"Good."

"As long as you understand that you were wrong."

"So," Luna said, folding her arms, "why did you call me out like that?"

Rowan raised a brow slightly.

"You called me."

She ignored that.

"Release your aura. I want to see it."

Rowan lowered his head a little.

Damn it this is exactly what I wanted to avoid.

Standing out brings trouble.

But I already made that decision. I won’t be looked down on.

Even if they know I’m strong they won’t know how strong.

I’ll just play along.

He exhaled softly

Then released it.

A blue aura flowed around his body.

Calm.

Silent.

Controlled.

Luna stepped closer, observing carefully.

"Blue?" she muttered.

"I’ve seen Sword Saint auras before. They’re usually green sometimes different shades"

Her eyes narrowed.

"But this this is completely different."

She circled him slowly.

"A blue Sword Saint aura and blue mana?"

She shook her head slightly.

"I’ve never seen anything like it."

Rowan said nothing.

Luna’s expression shifted.

"But it’s strange."

She frowned.

"I’m not sensing much power from it."

"It feels weak."

"Or maybe just too calm."

She looked directly at him.

"It might even be weaker than a normal swordsman’s mana."

Rowan met her gaze.

"Is that all?"

She paused.

"No."

"I’ve heard things about you."

"Not your strength but your speed."

She raised her sword.

"They say your speed is abnormal."

"Let’s test that."

Rowan swallowed lightly.

"Fine."

Luna tilted her head.

"Why haven’t you drawn your sword?"

Rowan smiled faintly.

"I don’t need one."

A slight murmur spread across the class.

Luna frowned.

"What do you mean?"

Rowan looked at her calmly.

"You said you’d cut me down."

He tilted his head slightly.

"With what sword?"

Silence

Then

"Eh?!"

The entire class erupted.

Luna’s eyes widened.

Her hand

Was empty.

Her sword was gone.

She hadn’t moved.

She hadn’t felt anything.

Her grip had simply been emptied.

Her instincts kicked in too late.

What just happened?

She looked down at her hand.

Then

Rowan pointed upward.

Everyone followed his finger

The sword was embedded deep into the ceiling.

The classroom exploded into chaos.

"What the hell?!"

"When did that happen?!"

"I didn’t see anything!"

"I didn’t even hear a sound!"

Luna slowly looked back at Rowan.

Her hands trembled slightly.

I didn’t see him move

Not even a trace

No aura fluctuation nothing

I’m a Sword Master an A rank adventurer

I’ve faced monsters bandits death itself

And yet

This boy

Rowan waved his hand in front of her face.

"Ma’am?"

She snapped out of it.

"Yes?"

"Can I go back to my seat now?"

"Yes."

She nodded slowly, still stunned.

Rowan turned and walked back calmly, as if nothing had happened.

The entire class stared at him.

Luna took a breath.

"Those participating in the tournament you’ve all been evaluated."

"You may go."

She picked up her book and walked out of the classroom.

The moment she left

The class exploded.

Students rushed toward Rowan.

"Bro! That was insane!"

"How did you do that?!"

"Did you even move?!"

"Was that magic or something?!"

Rowan leaned back slightly, smiling faintly.

"Maybe."

The students stared at him in awe.

Everyone smiled everyone except one.

"You truly outstanding" Neville said quietly.

He looked at Rowan with burning determination.

"You’ve inspired me."

"I want to become like you."

He stepped closer.

"So tell me when do we begin training? I’m ready."

Rowan smiled faintly.

"Maybe after school."

He leaned back slightly.
