Fifty years ago, the Abyss appeared in the world, and the world was never the same.
    From the Abyss emerged Magical Beasts with unimaginable strength and power that sought to prey on humans and destroy the human race.

    Thoren Starfall has been plagued by disease since his childhood.
    To save him from the Mana-Eating Worm, his parents took a high-interest loan when he was close to dying.
    When Thoren Starfall recovered from the disease, he awakened the weakest occupation: a Necromancer.
    As an Awakener, it is compulsory for him to venture into the Abyss, but with a useless occupation, his fate is already decided.
    Having lost their first daughter to the Abyss, the Starfall family fell into despair.
    Thoren, however, is different.
    While everyone calls his occupation useless, he believes otherwise.
    Hidden beneath his weak occupation lies an Ex-Rank talent, one that even he doesn’t fully understand.
