Chapter 310: Crow’s Advancement
Finding two hundred participants was difficult. But there was no reason for Mater to do everything himself.
Instead, Selina suggested to let the soldier come to them.
Selina was in the AE Forges Group and Aeliz LARPing Community. She simply released a new post on both groups.
"Role-players Wanted! Hymn of the Battlefield Event!
A hundred female and a hundred male!

For extra marketing purpose, Selina had an idea to record a marketing video.
"What is best to attract attention by a couple of beautiful girls?"
Selina, Aurora, and Evelynn sat in front of the camera and invited participants to AE Forges to interview for the event.
Rowan stood outside of Selina’s old forge studio. A few mechanics and cleaners went inside the studio to fix the forge and also prepared it for new renter.
"Everything’s done, Rowan." The cleaning group walked out with a bunch of tools in their hands.
"Got cha. Here’s your pay." Rowan licked his finger and counted the credit bills.
He locked the studio once everything was done and returned to his office. Rowan froze as he saw a line of people went a few circles around his office.
"What in the..."
Rowan approached a person standing in the line and poked them at the arm.
"Are you a blacksmith?"
"No. Why do you ask?"
"Then why are you standing here? And all these people too?"
"You don’t know? We’re waiting to see Rowan."
The man showed Rowan’s the post. His eyes rolled to the back of his head.
Selina’s post was too effective. Especially since she used Evelynn.
Evelynn wore Jean Mollison’s face. As of now, Jean was still a famous celebrity. Her appearing in the recruiting video had gathered quite a lot of attention.
There were a lot of men that wanted to take part in the events.
There were also a lot of women too because they thought that might be it was some kind of secret production.
Rowan was overwhelmed by the amount of people that he had to call Selina.
"Hey... I know that I asked you to help with the Hymn. But there are too many people now. I can’t deal with this."
"Ah. Sorry about that. Don’t worry. I already sent people over."
"You sent who?"
But Selina had already hung up. Soon, black sleek cars arrived at the AE Forges.
Men in well-tailored suits walked out of the cars and began to maintain the order within the AE Forges.
"Stand in line! Do not cause trouble!"
They were members of the Dark Syndicate. The people that came to audition immediately calm down. They didn’t even dare to look at the ’security’ because they looked so intimidating.
Sparrow and Solarix came to the AE Forges to assist Rowan in dealing with the applications. The rumor about this LARPing even was actually a movie production became even more real.
Sparrow and Solarix had their own unique characteristics. And they were beautiful like movie starts too.
Sparrow looked like those adventurous drifter that would sweep your feet away. While Solarix looked like those thorn roses that people couldn’t get enough of.
The both of them convinced people about heir suspicion. They even thought that the two might be big roles in this movie.
When all of that happened, Mater was inside the Never-ending Woods.
In the black cat’s hand was a bronze disk that he had collected in the desert.
Mater had time to investigate the bronze disk and was able to understand it more.
Crow already had one Singularity that he received from Aaron Cage’s friend so he only needed two more Chaos Singularities to advance to Rank-2. With the bronze disk, he would only need one.
But that wasn’t a good plan of action.
Because Mater had already found a better way to use the bronze disk.
’This thing... It is a Chaos Amplifier. If it can lower the Chaos Singularities needed for advancement, it probably could raise the quality of the advancement itself. Instead of cutting short the Singularities, I should try to stuff as much Singularities as possible.’
Crow was within his Shrine at the moment. The dark tree that reached to the white moon in the sky.
Mater flicked its paw. A complicated web of Chaos Magic appeared in the Floor of Darkness. It enveloped the Abyssal Shrine in a large red sphere.
"Are you ready, Crow?"
An eye popped open on the vast body of the dark tree.
"I am."
"Here we go." The black cat pushed the bronze disk forward.
The bronze disk engraved itself onto the Chaos Ritual.
Then Mater opened his mouth. Four Chaos Singularities jumped out of his throat and engraved into the giant red sphere.
"I feel that I can take more, Master..." Crow’s voice echoed.
"I will add more Chaos slowly. Tell me once you reach your max."
"Yes, Master."
Slowly, more and more Chaos Singularities were engraved into the Chaos Ritual.
Five Singularities.
Six Singularities.
Seven Singularities.
Each dark sphere attached itself onto the red sphere and spread out its chaotic energy.
Finally, ten Chaos Singularities were engraved.
"This is my limit, Master."
"Goddamn, Crow. I didn’t even use this much Chaos Singularities. Let us begin the process."
The black cat disappeared from the Floor of Darkness. Two large golden eyes appeared in the sky. The golden eyes changed into two dark red octagrams.
The octagrams pulsed like living heart.
The energy of the Chaos Singularities poured into the bronze disk. The bronze disk shot out a dark beam into the dark tree, flooding the Shrine and Crow with the power of Chaos.
The tree grew. Crow’s strength advanced.
The branches of the tree went over the moon and touched the ceiling of this illusionary pocket dimension. It shouldn’t be possible for a Shrine to find the limits of this Floor. But it did.
Mater didn’t stop it because the Prison was not affected negatively. Instead, the Shrine established a mutual connections with the Floor of Darkness.
The branches split out in the sky. Two more moons appeared.
The original moon was white.
The second had a yellow hue on it.
The third one had a soft blue.
The three moon pulsed, spreading their moonlights onto the black and white ground.
"Huh? Why do I feel the fabric of this dimension become stronger?"
