Magus: Rise of the Darkness Empress

As Weiss was about to be done with one section of the library, she sensed that someone was coming to the library. After sensing this, she immediately slowed her reading pace to a normal degree.

A few minutes after this, two men and two ladies entered the library. Among the men, one of them was the head butler of the Skepa Household and another one was a decently poweful peak apprentice knight level guard.

And both of the females were maids of this Household. One of them was even the head maid.

When she saw the other maid who should have been tending to the guest sleeping peacefully while even drooling a little and having a stupid smile on her face, her eyebrows twitched lightly.

But she managed to maintain her dignified behavior before an honoured guest and after giving Weiss a respectful bow, she told her that the lady of the house, Marchioness Eleanor was inviting her for a meeting.

Weiss was actually waiting to get a chance to have a meeting with her so this was actually a very good opportunity. So she decided to accept this invitation.

As Weiss was about to leave the book on the book shelf, the head maid bowed to her again and asked Weiss if it would be possible for her to wait for about two hours before going to meet with the Marchioness.

This head maid understood that her master and mistress extremely well and knew now that they were having some fun while they were going through a stressed situation, they would not stop the orgy for at least two hours. That was the reason why she asked Weiss to wait for bit.

This was an offer that Weiss was perfectly fine with. She still wanted to check out a few books immediately so she was happy to have the opportunity to relax and do exactly that.

So very gladly Weiss again buried herself in the books while making sure that she was maintaining the regular reading speed and not her abnormal one.

After two hours, in the same room as before where the Skepa family higher ups were having the important meeting previously, they all gathered again for a second round.

But this time, they had two extra perticipants, who were Weiss and Elise.

Weiss had already been told that the Skepa family was officially asking for her help regarding this current turmoil. If their were any suggestions that she was able to give, they would be happy to listen to it.

As for what Weiss would get for helping them, the marquis and the Marchioness were extremely generous. They asked Weiss if there was anything that she wanted, and they were planning to fulfill any desire that she had unless it could harm their family or was literally impossible.

But both the marquis and the marchioness were aware that Weiss was a very intelligent young lady. So the chance to her demanding something absurd and stupid was non existent. But even then, what actually Weiss ended up demanding was extremely surprising to them.

Weiss demanded various business authorities that would allow her to trade with the merchants of this territory freely with her own products. And the plan that she had prepared for the distribution and other matters was extremely thorough.

Even if this topic was not brought up as a reward, the marquis and the marchioness would have still accepted this. If was good proposal not just for Weiss and her territory. It was going to help the Skepa territory too by giving it more money and security. So it was definitely a win win deal for both sides.

Seeing this, both the marquis and Eleanor decided that they would give Weiss a completely free and unrestricted access to the merchandise as a bonus with this deal. They were really impressed by her and felt that the reward that she was asking for was very little and definitely not enough of a compensation.

So just like that, Weiss was done with the main negotiation. Now, by using this opportunity and getting a larger market, various high quality products of the Souran territory would finally get a chance to be sold. This way, her territory was soon going to bring a large sum of money and valuable materials back home.

Now, what Weiss needed to do next was to give some advices to the people present here in order make sure that this upcomming super large scale party would go well.

If it ended without any bad incident happening, then the noble house of Skepa would gain a considerable amount of strength and influence. And now, as Weiss had became even closer with the Skepa family because of the newly sighed deal, the increase in their prestige was good for her Souran family too.

As the meeting ended after lasting for quite some time, it was already a bit late for lunch. So as an apology for making Weiss and Elise to miss their lunch, Eleanor Invited them for a luxurious lunch with her.

There was no reason to reject this invitation so both of them easily agreed. Currently Eleanor and all the other males were acting even more respectful toward her.

The advises that Weiss had given were all top notch. So much so that the people in the room had not managed to even wait for the meeting to end before implementing them.

Weiss had gotten rid of most of the obvious and easy to exploit flaws in the security system. She had even given them a new idea of three men cell system to properly defend against enemies of superior individual might.

With these ideas in place, the assasins would now have a very hard time infiltrating the castle. So everyone one very satisfied with the result.

But that was not all. In the meeting, after learning about the suspicion of their group having one or more traitors, Weiss immediately came up with an idea to find them. And now after the end of the meeting, that idea was being implemented by Eleanor for catching the rat in the trap.

So kind of idea did Weiss come up with ?
