For this reason, the marquis wanted the members of the Sparrow’s Nest to help out with the security measures. Those members were always involved in one conflict or another. So their real life battle experience and anti spy measures were considerably stronger than the regular guards of Skepa family.

Other than this problem about the security, one another problem was the hidden inner spies. From interrogating the captives, the leader of the Sparrow’s next had learned that they had a well made and very detailed map of the Skepa castle.

That was also a reason why they had such an easy time getting in. Those assassins were aware of the best routes, the general guard petrol pathway and much more confidential informations.

A map and information like that was not something that just anyone could produce. Only someone working in the Skepa castle and in a considerably high position could pull it off.

A traitor like this was very dangerous. So it was a top priority of all four of them present here to get rid of the traitors as soon as possible. But to do that, they first needed to find out who the traitors actually were.

As this discussion was happening, the marquis suddenly made a proposal. And that proposal was to ask baroness Souran for help.

Currently no one present here had any suspicion on the Baroness that she was working with the Skepa family’s enemies. And as this young baroness was way smarter than what her age suggested, the marquis felt that her help would be very valuable.

Eleanor and Ganther both also favoured this idea. They were very well aware of how brilliant that young lady actually was. As for the leader of the Sparrow’s Nest, Sol, he had no opinion about this lady as he had never met her. But he trusted his friends’ judgement in a serious matter like this.

So it was decided that the Skepa family would officially ask Baroness Souran’s help regarding this matter. Obviously they were going to negotiate a reward that the baroness would be satisfied with for providing her valuable help.

Weiss had slightly underestimated how much the Skepas valued her. So even without her doing anything, she was getting more and more opportunities for negotiating a better deal handed to her.

Some time after Weiss and Elise had left with the slaves, two men came to visit the clothing store of Lia. After they showed her a special looking badge, both of these men were Immediately welcomed inside her private chambers where the shop employees and the customers were not allowed to go.

One of the men was Hanzic and another one was a peak level knight’s apprentice who could also become an official knight in a few more months. Seeing this, Lia was even more glad that she had accepted this proposal and amazed about how awesome her new mistress was for having so many powerful subordinates.

These two had not came here for any important task. Just like Elise wanted others to get to know this new subordinate a bit better, these men also wanted to get along with her.
