Magus: Rise of the Darkness Empress

Some time had passed so when Elise went to call for Eleanor, everyone was already done with the party. Eleanor herself was extremely satisfied with it as it had been extremely good for her Skepa family. Both the party for the noble heads and for the young heirs had produced satisfactory results.

After the party was over, she was having a little discussion with her husband regarding the future development for their family and that was when Elise had came to call for her.

If it was any other servant of a baron family, then Eleanor would never even have entertained the thought of meeting with them at this hour.

But obviously she was not going do that to the Souran family who had just recently became her close ally and had a lot of potential for the future.

So she immediately accepted the invitation and called Elise in. Eleanor was still in a playful mood because of how happy she was feeling and she even Invited Elise to have a private orgy with her and her husband before going to bed.

But Elise respectfully declined the invitation and in a roundabout way, she tried to imply that maybe even the Marchioness would not be able to enjoy herself for the night.

Seeing Elise’s serious expression and understanding the underlying meaning of her words, Eleanor immediately became serious. Her languid and easy going atmosphere immediately disappeared and was replaced by a serious air.

But obviously Elise was not going to discuss the details of the situation here with many servants being present. Eleanor also understood this and invited her inside the bedroom which was safe for having a private and sensitive talk.

There, Elise very briefly explained the situation and immediately the serious expression on Eleanor’s face became even more serious. Getting attacked by the troublesome Changer was never a good thing.

Changer had always been somewhat uncontrollable and dangerous. But they were too strong and there were many other nobles who also supported this orginisation from the shadows. That was why going against them was not a good idea.

For that reason, the previous marquis had signed a deal with the Changer and had became a supporter for them just like many other nobles.

This deal had not stopped the people of this organisation to accept jobs which were against their interest. But the Changer had at least tried to not accept any jobs which woud directly hurt the Skepa family.

But during the past few years, the relationship between this orginisation and the Skepa family had not been that good.

After the Changer had killed one of their subordinate peak apprentice knights who had a high possibility to successfully reach the realm of an official knight in the future, the Skepa family had also started to restrict them in various fields as retaliation.

So now it looked like the Changer had went all out to return the retaliation. And trying to commit murder in the current situation inside the Skepa castle would really have been a very effective way to hurt the Skepa family.

Thinking this much, Eleanor could not help but be extremely grateful to Weiss and Elise. If they had not stopped the assasins and a noble guest had died, then all the momentum that the Skepa family had built up would have been wasted.

But the current situation was not right to show her gratitude. Eleanor was definitely not going to forget about this favour and she was going to repay it at a later date. For the time being, she needed to know more about the situation and meet with the infiltrators.

So she followed behind Elise and went to meet with Weiss and the captives immediately. She also wrote a short letter to her husband before going and explained the situation to him and asked him to increase the security of the castle.

After reaching the room where Weiss was staying, Eleanor saw Weiss calmly reading a book while three captives were tied up at the corner of the room and a noble lady was asleep on the large bed.

Eleanor did not mind the sleeping girl and first went to check on the captives. From how wounded all of them were, it was clear that they had a tough fight with Elise and Weiss.

Not just that but from the location of some of the wounds and how they looked, Eleanor guessed that they had also been tortured. But that was just natural and she did not mind the ladies here torturing them first before handing them over. As their captors, it was a very natural thing to do.

So she came before Elise and thanked her with a slight bow of her head. For a higher ranking noble to do something like this, it was definitely a big deal.

But as Eleanor lifted her head, she found Weiss holding a notebook toward her with the same cold expression on her face. But Eleanor was not displeased after seeing this and instead found Weiss’s unchanging expression to be comforting in this serious situation.

The notebook that Weiss gave her, it had the interrogation conversation written in a very precise manner.

Obviously Eleanor was still going to interrogate these infiltrators again but this notebook would still be very useful for her and the other members of the Skepa family to come up with counter measures against the Changer.

After Eleanor left with the captives, Weiss told Elise to stay in the room and to not allow anyone to enter. She also asked her to call all the maids back who were currently busy having some nightly naughty fun with other maids.

As Elise went to do exactly that, Weiss started to change. She wore some tight fitting clothing which gave her extreme freedom of movement and also covered her whole sexy body with a dark robe.

Then as Elise returned back with the maids, Weiss gave them a wave and disappeared. The maids and Elise just bowed and saw her off.

So what was Weiss planning to do by going out like this in the middle of the night ?
