Magus: Rise of the Darkness Empress

As Weiss, Elise and Adel were going toward Weiss’s room, both Elise and Weiss immediately noticed the sudden silent intruders. And from how they moved, it was clear that all three of the infiltrators were very skilled at their job.

Obviously Adel had no idea about any of this and Weiss also had no intention of letting her know. Normally in a situation like this, Weiss would not do anything as long as she was not attacked.

Currently it was the Skepa family’s responsibility to protect all the people from other nobles houses who were here. Even though almost all the nobles here had their own guards just like Weiss had Elise, the primary security responsibility would still be on the shoulder of the Skepa family.

So in this situation, if any of the invited nobles got harmed or died at the worst case scenario, then the reputation of the Skepa family would suffer a massive blow. Normally that would not be something that Weiss would care about but the situation now had changed.

Just earlier today, she had became close allies with the Skepa family through the nameless Alliance. So them getting their reputation ruined would not be a good thing for any future development plans that Weiss and the Souran territory had.

So with a simple look, she conveyed an order to Elise. That order was for her to capture all the intruders alive and to bring them back to her in secret. This sounded like a very tough job but for a grand knight like Elise, it was actually a light work out.

After understanding the order, Elise made an excuse and separated from Weiss. As they were already very close to Weiss’s room, Adel did not find the guard going away to be anything suspicious. She was also way too excited about getting to see Weiss’s collection of knight’s secret art.

After getting away from Weiss and Adel, Elise immediately used her stealth related abilities to their full force. She also made use for her insanely high speed and the fleet footed steps to quickly close the distance between her and the intruders.

As the intruders were trying to stay hidden as much as possible, they were unable to move at a rapid pace as they needed to make frequent stops in order to avoid the guards. So, in no time, Elise reached close to their location with her abnormally fast speed.

Among the three intruders, one of them was an official knight. As for the other two, they were also not weak by any means. Both of them were just one step away from reaching the official knight realm.

So for Elise, all of them were extremely weak. She could defeat them in less than a seconds time. A grand knight was just that powerful.

After making sure that her course was clear, she made her move. These three were taking remote and empty paths to stay hidden and that helped Elise out.

She suddenly appeared behind the three of them. And even before could resister her presence, a well placed ancient force filled chop on the back of everyone’s head immediately knocked them out cold.

The next steps were simple. Elise started to pour some of the ancient force inside the conscious people which spread throughout their whole body including the muscles, blood and even nerves. And then the unconscious intruders actually started to move again.

The ancient force was way more mysterious than the regular life force and it had many functions. The function of controlling someone from the distance like a puppet was one of them.

This way, Elise had a very easy time taking all the people away. As she was capable of detecting any and all presences throughout the whole castle, she had a very easy time finding an safe way to stay completely hidden.

If it was actually Elise who was doing the infiltration, then all the nobles here had already died without even knowing what had hit them. Fortunately for the Skepa family, they had not made an enemy out of the Souran family.

There were a few areas where the security was too high and it was actually Impossible to cross that area while being hidden. But Elise had a solution for this too.

She had a special gas made by Weiss with her that had a strong but short lasting mind numbing effect. And Elise always kept a little bit of this gas with her.

So she used that and made the guards to became dazed. Taking that opportunity, Elise crossed the troublesome location right before their eyes and they did not notice anything at all.

This way, Elise managed to reach Weiss’s room without being noticed by anyone. It did take some time but not more than fifteen minutes or so. This was astonishing fast in anyone else’s eyes.

"Mistress Weiss, sorry for being late."

Inside the room, Weiss was sitting on the chair while taking some notes in one of her notebook. In the large bed of the room, an unconscious Adel was soundly sleeping.

She was not hurt at all. Weiss had secretly used a sleep inducing medicine on her. Now Adel would be fast asleep until the morning. Weiss had not taken any risk and had even checked that she was truly asleep.

So now, Elise and Weiss were able to interrogate these intruders to their heart’s content. Only after the interrogation was over, would she think about the following steps.

Weiss was not going to make a move in vain. If she was doing something, she was expecting to benifit from her action. She was not foolish or generous enough to help others without any significant gain to her name.

In this city that was ruled by the Skepa family, there were very few dark orginisation who were capable of making such a big and dangerous move. So if Weiss played all her cards well, this incident would not just make the Skepa family to be grateful toward her, she might even be able to destroy or recruit a powerful dark orginisation too.

So Weiss’s brain started to come up with various scenarios for this situation.
