’Damn!’ Leon exclaimed again in his mind for the umpteenth time after hearing the explanation about the nature of a Bioforger’s powers.
’I said it, it’s those damn elusive Class Specializations that are the most devious!’
’Phew... he hasn’t offered me any drink yet’.
’I must not drink anything from him!’ He cautioned himself.
Listening to the Lt. Colonel talk about the nature of his abilities once again reminded Leon that no D Rank Ascended should be underestimated no matter the Class, every single one of them was a moving disaster.
At D Rank, Ascended already broke the Ascended system.
Umar looked at the D Rank Mechanist who was now his ally, then he asked. "Can I trust the information from your Zerphyr-7?"
"100%," Leon answered immediately. "I know I said the terrorists are devious and can create another hidden decoy, but if they can actually do that, then they’re being supported by either the Omnicore Federation or the Synth Order".
"If not, then what my aircraft is projecting is 100% correct".
He grinned confidently. "Few things in the world can fool my surveillance".
The Lt. Colonel nodded calmly. "I can’t say whether Dhruv Laden is being supported by the Federation Army or not".
He looked at Leon again. "Do you have an assault plan in mind?"
Hearing that, Leon smiled immediately. "With the nature of your abilities, it’s not hard to create a plan at all. And with the both of us working together, I do believe that we can kill a D Rank terrorist today".
He grinned. "The plan is simple. You’ll simply be the bulwark charging forward, while I’ll be the support cleaning after your back".
"I’ll create an opening for you".
"As for Daren and Talia, I’ll instruct them to watch the perimeter and eliminate any terrorist that’ll try to escape after we storm in".
"But before we finalize though," he looked at the Lt. Colonel and asked. "Do you know what Class and Class Specialization Dhruv Laden is?"
Umar answered immediately. "He’s a D Rank Cyber Gladiator and though he’s rarely caught fighting, I’ve been tracking him for a long time and I know that his Class Specialization is the Exo Knight Specialization".
Leon’s eyes gleamed.
The Lt. Colonel looked at him. "Have you heard of it?"
"Oh, Exo Knights?" He grinned. "I’ve not just heard about them, I’ve seen one of the strongest of them fight in a death battle so yeah, I do know them".
"I know them very well".
"Good," Umar nodded and looked at the footage being broadcasted by the stealth aircraft again. "We don’t have much time to waste. We don’t know how long that guy have been attempting the Trial, he may succeed at any time".
"We have to go in now".
Leon nodded.
Umar looked at him. "How exactly do you intend to create an opening for me? Though I’m far away from it, I can still tell how sturdy the hideout is".
"Oh that?" Leon smiled. "Don’t worry".
He looked down. "Just go down when you’re ready, you’ll see".
As he said this, he dialed Talia’s phone.
Ring... Ring...
Click!
Talia’s face popped to life in mid-air. "Nothing’s changed," she said. "The terrorists have not made any moves yet, is there any update?"
Leon nodded. "We’re about to go in. Your job is to secure the perimeter, make sure that no terrorist escapes after we start".
"Understood".
Leon finally ended the call and looked at Umar. "Let’s move".

About a minute later...
2 D Rank Ascended, 1 dressed in a black military-style attire and the other dressed in a brown military-style attire dove down from the sky from an extremely high altitude.
Whoosh!
The wind whipped hard against their face.
Just beneath them and also free-falling from the sky was a massive Gun Drone with a frame of 2.6 meters in height and a width of 1.8 meters, the Sentry-IV Autocannon Drone!
This was Leon’s strongest firepower war machine.
Thud... thud...
Both D Rank Ascended landed on the back of the Gun Drone within a few seconds as it continued free-falling from the sky.
Viewed from afar, it looked like an asteroid was falling from the sky.
About a dozen seconds later, the surveillance system of the underground terrorist base discovered the Gun Drone free-falling from the sky as the terrorists underground immediately started scrambling to react.
Within a few seconds, 4 different camouflaged doors were opened in the surrounding terrain as terrorists carrying anti-air cannon launchers rushed out.
They quickly started getting set in formations to shoot down the Gun Drone, and just before they could finish the sky suddenly bloomed with fire...
On the head of the massive Gun Drone was its primary weapon, a gigantic six barrel rotary cannon with an electromagnetic spin-assist motor, with 3000-6000 rounds per ammo capacity.
The Gun Drone already switched ammunition types to its Tungsten penetrators- high-density armor-piercing projectiles.
And before the terrorists below could fully set up their weapons, grayish white ADE bloomed in the sky around the massive Gun Drone.
Enhance!
BOOM!
The sky bloomed with fire.
The sound that followed was like that of exploding dominoes!
TUTUTUTUTUTUTUTUTUTUTUTUTUTUTU...!
Each round hit with the force of a mountain and the sharpness of a blade, tearing through flesh, stone, and armor alike like a hot knife through butter!
Each round penetrated through bone like silk.
And when they hit the ground, the ground vibrated like an earthquake was imminent as the high density tungsten rounds penetrated through thick layers of earth and the armor plating covering the underground terrorist base!
KABOOM!
The ground caved in!
"ARGHHHH...!" The stunned and terrified terrorists screamed.
Everything happened so fast.
One moment, they were getting ready to shoot down the Gun Drone and the next moment, they were being obliterated.
"Run!" They screamed.
"Ahhh... my leg...!"
"What is this... arhhh...!"
The terrorists were terrified.
This didn’t feel like they were fighting against a Gun Drone at all, this felt more like the end of the world. It felt more like confronting an apocalypse!
Their once reliable armor were like paper in the face of the descending rounds being shot down from the sky!
They couldn’t even think to retaliate anymore, all they thought of was escaping but there was no escaping it when hundreds of rounds were being unleashed each second by the 6 barrels of the Gun Drone’s primary weapon at dizzying speeds.
Within seconds, all the terrorists who came to the surface were slaughtered as large holes were torn open inside the underground bunker.
By now, the terrorists already realized that this was no mere Gun Drone.
The enemy was a D Rank Ascended!
But it was too late to react effectively as having closed the distance already, instead of colliding into the ground with force like they expected, the thrusters of the heavy Gun Drone finally came to life.
HUMMMMM!
They bloomed white, thrusting with enough force to keep the heavy Gun Drone just above the compromised terrorist base, and then...
Thud!
From the back of the Gun Drone, a man jumped into the terrorist base through one of the openings that were now leading into it after the bombardment of the Gun Drone.
The man wore brown military attire and wielded a Rifle Shotgun.
Lt. Colonel Umar Farouq jumped into the action.
