Chapter 359: Treatment Room
"How is this possible? That giant always hunted down the prisoners who killed the most monsters before, why has it changed this time?!"
The prisoners watching near the prison gate exclaimed in shock. They could only watch as the giant entered the darkness and killed those prisoners who had gone in to scout the path.
After the giant left, Lin Ye immediately deactivated his Special Ability. If the giant returned now, he would be in great danger.
It wasn't that he didn't want to wait a bit longer, but something was about to crawl out from the Abyss.
That thing was still far from the surface, but with each movement, it would skip a certain distance, as if using a teleportation cheat.
The danger level of the Abyssal Eye far exceeded Lin Ye's ability to withstand. Each use was a gamble with his life.
Yet, if he didn't use his Special Ability, he would be chopped into mincemeat by the giant's heavy blade. That was the problem.
"What do we do now? After that giant finishes clearing out the other prisoners, it will likely come back for you."
Little Ye was somewhat unwilling. She was, after all, just an illusion, a counterfeit. If the real Little Ye were here, she could definitely deal with the giant.
"Now, we go to the cafeteria to eat. I need you to be in peak condition." Lin Ye pulled Little Ye towards the cafeteria, ignoring the screams of the prisoners behind them. Everyone had to take responsibility for their own choices, whether made actively or passively.
"Eat?"
Little Ye looked at Lin Ye in surprise. She really wasn't hungry right now.

"...You don't seem anxious at all?"

Lin Ye served a bowl of wontons and placed it in front of Little Ye, then served another bowl for himself.
"You can add some pepper, soy sauce, and chili oil. It tastes better that way."
Lin Ye added the condiments and began eating the wontons unhurriedly.
"The condiments here are quite complete."
Little Ye also started eating the wontons. Like Lin Ye, she also liked various noodle dishes with soup.
"I found them as soon as I looked, and they're familiar brands."
Lin Ye hadn't expected the Black Prison to have such a humane place. This might be related to the reason the prison was formed.
Just as the two finished eating the wontons, they heard the screams of prisoners outside the cafeteria. Clearly, that giant did not intend to let the other prisoners go.

Seeing this, the giant could only continue retreating. Lin Ye was responsible for opening the door. That Abyssal creature might not necessarily eat an insect-like Lin Ye, but it would definitely come out and treat him as a snack.
Only after confirming the giant had opened up a safe distance did Lin Ye stop using his Special Ability.
However, the effect of the Abyssal Eye did not completely disappear. A hole, just large enough for an average person to squeeze through, remained on the ground.
"Sigh, there's nothing to be done about this."
Lin Ye pulled Little Ye away from the cafeteria.
After Lin Ye left, those Alienated black liquids flowed into the cafeteria.
The giant left the prison and returned to that darkness.
"It's over just like that?"
Little Ye hadn't expected it to go so smoothly.
"Over? No, this is just the beginning. If the method to leave the Black Prison is truly within that darkness, we still have to go inside to find the way out. We might have to face it again then."
Not long after the giant left, Lin Ye successfully left the prison and returned to the Black Prison.
Lin Ye planned to go back to the camp to take a look. The nun wasn't in the prison earlier;
she likely knew some information.
"There seems to be a door over there."
Little Ye's voice suddenly sounded beside him.
"A door? Where?"
Lin Ye had felt his way along the entire path earlier and hadn't encountered anything related to a door.
"...I'm not too sure either. The way I observe my surroundings is different from yours. It's right over there."
Little Ye pointed in a direction.
Lin Ye felt around that area. Finally, he felt a crack in the wall.
'That massage parlor membership card?'
Lin Ye took out the hard card and inserted it into the crack. The wall opened like a door, and a sliver of piercing light leaked through the crack.
Knock knock.
Although he had opened the door using the Access Card, Lin Ye politely knocked.
This also allowed him to test the situation inside.
"Please come in."
The voice that came from inside was very gentle. Just hearing it gave one a sense of reassurance.
Lin Ye pulled open the door. Inside was a Treatment Room. A Doctor wearing a White Coat sat in a chair behind a desk.
